or toddler just as you would naturally. Slings take the strain
off your arms and distribute the weight. They provide multiple
carry positions and can be used with infants from new-born up
to toddlers even 2-3 years old.

Theopeningclipisbestwornonthefrontoftheshoulderforeasyaccesstogetinandoutofthesling.Thisclipisstrengthtestedanddeemedbaby-safe.Firmlyattachedundertheclipisaback-upcatchwecallthesafetyloop.Makesureyoualwayshavethesafetyloopsecurewhenusingthesling.Toopentheclipremembertoreleasethesafetylooprst.Twoadjusterclipsatthebackwithsafetywebbingallowyoutoadjusttheslingwhilewearingit.Werecommendyouwearbabyquitehighasthisdistributestheweightandwilltakethestrainoffyourlowerback.Whenseatedorbreast-feedingyoucanloosentheslingforcomfortbysimplytiltingtheadjusterclipsonthebackoftheshoulder.Theycanalsobetightenedwhilewearingtoprovidebabywithextracomfort,safetyandsupportindifferentpositions.Fitting Your Sling
Tottheslingtoyoursizestartbyeithershorteningorlengtheningthefrontfabricstrap(withthelogo).Mostmothersandsmallersizeswillneedtomakethisstrapquiteshortortight(shorterthanitarrivesasnew)sothatbaby'sheadwillbejustonorunderthebreast.MostDadsandlargersizeswillmakethisstrapabitlonger.Tighten/shortenthebackstrapspriortoputtingtheslingon(youwantittobeabouthiphightostartwith)andthenusethemtoadjusttoacomfortableheightoncebabyisinthesling.Liftthesafetyloopsoit’sontopoftheopenclip.Closetheclipmakingsureitisfullyengaged,youwillheararm‘click’.Pulltheloopovertheclosedclipsothatitsitsunderallfourcorners.1. 2. 3.

Pulltheinsiderailtighttowearbabyhigh(onyourbellybutton)andleavetheoutsiderailloosetogivebaby’sheadmoreroomsotheirchinisofftheirchest.In the Hip Seat

Oncebabyisstraddledonyourhiphighenoughsoyouarestandingstraightyoucantightentheoutsiderailsobaby’sbackissupportedanduprighttoo.
TIP: Get hold of the
webbing then jump up
a little when you pull.

Putyourarmandheadthrutheslinguntilthebackstrapisacrossyourshoulderblade.
Reachbehindandtightentheinsiderailsobabyliesacrossyourchestandabovethehipbone.Ensureinsideandoutsideside-railsarepulledupandbabyisinacomfortableposition.Placeshoulderpadoverbabyanddoupfrontclip,pullsafetyloopoverclosedclip.Liftbabyandslingtogetherandstandup.Nowyoucanseebaby'sfaceandthelooserouterrailwillsupporttheirheadandneck.The Diagonal Cradle Hold – From Lying Down:

Diagonal Cradle
for Sitting Baby:
Thispositionisgreatforbabieswhocanholduptheirheadandwhowanttolookaround(ratherthanfeedorsleep).Notethatthediagonalcradlepositioncanbeusedwithalargetoddlerwhohasfallenasleepbecausetheirlegswillpokeoutatyourhipbuttheirheadissupportedbythesiderailwhichyoucanloosenoff.

Kangaroo Position:
Justlikealittlejoey,somebabiesreallyliketolookoutfromavantagepointonyourbelly.Workswellforbabieswhocan'tsitunaidedyetastheirbackissupportedbyyourtummy,butbabyneedstobetheexiblekindwhocancrosstheirlegsinfront.Thispositionrequireswearingtheslingalittlelower,youmayneedtomakethefrontfabrictababitlonger.

Atabout4to6monthsbabycansitupandwillnaturallystraddleyourhipwhencarried.Usingtheslingwillhelpspreadtheweightandsavestrainonyourbackandarms.Thispositionmaybeusedfortoddlersevenupto2and3yearsoldandisthepositionyouarelikelytousethemost.The Hip Seat – Feet First:
Wearingthesling,liftbabyhighupontoshoulderandholdtheirfeetreadytofeedintothesling.Withbabysittingonyourthigh,puttheclosedslingoverbothyoursandbaby'shead.Seatbabyintheslingandpullthetoprailuptheirback.Liftbabysoyoucansitthemonthebottomrail,aimtogettherailtothebackoftheirknees.Movetheslingdowntheirbodyandstartaimingtogetthemseatedinthemiddleorwidestbitoftheslingbody.???? Reachbehindandtightenthetoprailtosupporttheirback.Tip: get hold of the webbing then

baby out of their car-seat and use the sling at your destination.
