nungen und ggf. auch Einengungen an durchlaufenden Blutgefäßen/
Nerven verursachen.

Feuers oder anderer Hitzequellen getragen werden.
Das Produkt sollte nicht mit fett- und säurehaltigen Mitteln, Salben und
Lotionen in Berührung kommen.
Die 50A8 Omo Immobil Sling/50A9 Omo Immobil Sling, Abduktion Schulter-
gelenkorthese ist ausschließlich für die orthetische Versorgung der Schulter
einzusetzen und ausschließlich für den Kontakt mit intakter Haut bestimmt.
Die Indikation wird vom Arzt gestellt.
50A8 Omo Immobil Sling
Alle Indikationen, bei denen eine Immobilisierung des Schultergelenks
in Innenrotation notwendig ist, z. B. postoperative und posttraumatische
Ruhigstellung des Schultergelenks, Reizzustände im Bereich der Schulter
und des Schultergürtels, Weichteilverletzungen (z. B. Prellungen, Distorsi-
onen), Muskel- und Sehnenverletzungen im Bereich der Schulter und des
Oberarms, Frozen Shoulder, Konservative Behandlung bei AC-Gelenk-
Sprengung und -Arthrose, Omarthrose.
Die 50A8 Omo Immobil Sling Schultergelenkorthese xiert den Arm am
Körper und stellt das Schultergelenk in Innenrotation ruhig.
50A9 Omo Immobil Sling, Abduktion
Alle Indikationen, bei denen eine Immobilisierung des Schultergelenks in
15° Abduktion notwendig ist, z. B. Postoperative und posttraumatische
Ruhigstellung und Entlastung des Schultergelenks (z. B. nach Rotatoren-
manschetten-Plastik), Ruhigstellung nach Schulterluxationen, Weichteil-
verletzungen (z. B. Prellungen, Distorsionen), Reizzustände im Bereich der
Schulter und des Schultergürtels (z. B. Impingement-Syndrom, chronische
Bursitis), Schulterinstabilitäten, Nachbehandlung von Bicepssehnen- und
Muskelverletzungen.
Die 50A9 Omo Immobil Sling, Abduktion Schultergelenkorthese – bestehend
aus Schultergelenkorthese 50A8 und körpergerecht geformten Taillenkis-

sen – ermöglicht die Immobilisierung und Entlastung des Schultergelenks
in 15° Abduktion.
Bei nachfolgenden Indikationen ist eine Rücksprache mit dem Arzt erfoderlich:
Hauterkrankungen/-verletzungen, entzündliche Erscheinungen, aufgeworfene
Narben mit Schwellung, Rötung und Überwärmung im versorgten Körpe-
rabschnitt; Lymphabussstörungen – auch unklare Weichteilschwellungen
körperfern des Hilfsmittels; Empndungs- und Durchblutungsstörungen
Arm/Hand.
Die erstmalige Anpassung und Anwendung der 50A8 Omo Immobil Sling/
50A9 Omo Immobil Sling, Abduktion Schultergelenkorthese darf nur durch
geschultes Fachpersonal erfolgen.
Die Schultergelenkorthese wird geschlossen und anprobefertig geliefert.
Sie ist sowohl links als auch rechts einsetzbar. Die Orthese wird für den
rechten Arm voreingestellt geliefert.
50A8 Omo Immobil Sling:
Den an der Armschlinge befestigten Bauchverschluss entfernen und spie-
gelbildlich auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite in gleicher Position festkletten.

Öffnen Sie die Gurte. Führen Sie den Arm in die Schlinge und stellen Sie
die Klettverschlüsse für den Unterarm sowie den Daumen ein (Abb. 1)

Den Schultergurt diagonal über die kontralaterale (gesunde) Schulter
legen. Den Schultergurt festziehen, so dass sich der Arm in der ge-
wünschten Position bendet (Abb. 2).
3)
Anschließend den Taillengurt verschließen (Abb. 3). Die Gurte können
bei Bedarf gekürzt werden. Das Schulterpolster in die gewünschte
Position bringen.

50A9 Omo Immobil Sling, Abduktion:
Den Verschluss des Taillengurts öffnen. Den Abduktionskeil von der Arm-
schlinge lösen und spiegelbildlich auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite mit
dem doppelseitigen Klett-Hakenteil festkletten (Abb. 4). Den Schultergurt
öffnen und dessen Verschlussrichtung drehen.

Öffnen Sie die Gurte. Führen Sie den Arm in die Schlinge. Der Ellenbogen
sollte in der geschlossenen Ecke der Armschlinge liegen. Das Taillenkis-
sen, mit dem anatomisch geformten Ende nach vorn, an der Hüfte des
betroffenen Arms positionieren. Anschließend die Klettverschlüsse für
den Unterarm sowie den Daumen einstellen (Abb. 5).

Den Schultergurt diagonal über die kontralaterale (gesunde) Schulter
legen. Den Taillengurt verschließen (Abb. 6). Stellen Sie die Länge des
Schultergurts und des Taillengurts ein. Die Gurte können bei Bedarf
gekürzt werden. Das Schulterpolster in die gewünschte Position bringen.
Die Position der Schultergelenkorthese kann in externe und
interne Rotation eingestellt werden. Dazu das Abduktionskissen entlang
der Hüfte verschieben.
6.1 Material
Die Schultergelenkorthese besteht aus einem atmungsaktiven und haut-
freundlichen textilkaschierten Schaum. Der Schultergurt sowie der Taillen-
gurt sind aus Velour (Polyamid). Das Abduktionskissen der Omo Immobil
Sling, Abduktion besteht aus einem Schaum (45kg/m³) und ist mit einem
klettbaren Velourbezug überzogen.
Latex Safe: Das Produkt enthält nach unserer Kenntniss kein
Naturkautschuk.
6.2 Reinigen
In lauwarmen Wasser mit Feinwaschmittel waschen. Gründlich ausspülen.
Lufttrocknen.
HINWEIS Seifenrückstände können Hautirritationen und Materialverschleiß
hervorrufen.

Zum Waschen der 50A9 Omo Immobil Sling, Abduktion das
Schaumkissen aus dem Bezug entfernen und nur Bezug waschen.
Der Hersteller haftet nur, wenn das Produkt unter den vorgegebenen Bedin-
gungen und zu den vorgegebenen Zwecken eingesetzt wird. Der Hersteller
empehlt, das Produkt sachgemäß zu handhaben und entsprechend der
Anleitung zu pegen.
Das Produkt erfüllt die Anforderungen der Richtlinie 93 / 42 / EWG für Me-
dizinprodukte. Aufgrund der Klassizierungskriterien für Medizinprodukte
nach Anhang IX der Richtlinie wurde das Produkt in die Klasse I eingestuft.
Die Konformitätserklärung wurde deshalb von Ottobock in alleiniger Ver-
antwortung gemäß Anhang VII der Richtlinie erstellt.

First tting and application of the product must be supervised by trained
personnel. Daily wearing and application time depends on the medical
indication dened by the medical practitioner.

The product must not be changed.
An orthosis/bandage applied to tight may cause local pressure points
and possibly constrictions of blood vessels/nerves.
NOTICE
The product is not re resistant. It must not be worn close to open re
or other heat sources.
The product should not come in contact with aliphatic and acidic agents,
salves or lotions.
The 50A8 Omo Immobil Sling/50A9 Omo Immobil Sling, abduction shoulder
orthosis is to be used exclusively for orthotic treatment of the elbow and is
exclusively suitable for contact with healthy skin.
Indication must be determined by the physician.
All indications requiring immobilization of the shoulder joint in internal rota-
tion, e.g. postoperative and posttraumatic immobilization of the shoulder
joint, irritations in the region of the shoulder and shoulder girdle, soft-tissue
injuries (e.g. contusions, bruises, distortions), muscle and tendon injuries
in the region of shoulder and upper arm, Frozen Shoulder, conservative
treatment of AC-joint separation and osteoarthritis, shoulder osteoarthritis.

The shoulder joint orthosis 50A8 Omo Immobil Sling xes the arm at the
body and immobilizes the shoulder joint in internal rotation.
50A9 Omo Immobil Sling, abduction
All indications requiring immobilization of the shoulder joint in 15° abduc-
tion, e.g. postoperative and posttraumatic immobilization and relief of the
shoulder joint (e.g. after rotator cuff surgery), immobilization after shoulder
luxation, soft-tissue injuries (e.g. contusions, bruises, distortions), irritations
in the region of shoulder and shoulder girdle (e.g. impingement syndrome,
chronic bursitis), shoulder instabilities, follow-up treatment of biceps ten-
don and muscle injuries.
The shoulder joint orthosis 50A9 Omo Immobil Sling, abduction – consisting
of shoulder joint orthosis 50A8 and anatomically shaped waist pad – allows
immobilization and relief of the shoulder joint in 15° abduction.
In case of the following indications consultation with a physician is required:
Skin diseases/-injuries, inammatory symptoms, prominent scars that are
swollen, reddened and feel excessively warm when touched; Lymphatic
ow disorders, including unclear soft tissue swelling distant to the body
area to which the appliance will be applied; Sensory and circulatory dis-
orders of the arm and hand.
The initial tting and application of the 50A8 Omo Immobil Sling/50A9
Omo Immobil Sling, abduction must only be carried out by qualied per-
sonnel. The orthoses are delivered closed and ready for trial tting. It can
be applied on the left as well as on the right side. In delivery condition the
orthosis is preset for the right arm.
50A8 Omo Immobil Sling:
Remove the ventral closure attached to the arm loop and x it on the op-
posite side (mirror image) in same position.

Open the straps. Insert the arm into the loop and adapt the Velcro fa-
stener for upper arm and thumb (g. 1).

Place the shoulder strap diagonally over the contralateral (intact) shoul-
der. Tighten the shoulder strap until the arm is in wished position (g. 2).
3)
Close the waist strap (g. 3). If required the straps can be shortened.
Place the shoulder pad in desired position.
3.2 50A9 Omo Immobil Sling, abduction:
Open the closure of the waist strap. Remove the abduction wedge from the
arm loop and x it with the two-sided Velcro fastener on the opposite side
(mirror image) (g. 4). Open the shoulder strap and turn it in closing direction.

Open the straps. Insert the arm into the loop. The elbow should be
positioned in the closed angle of the arm loop. Place the waist pad on
the hip of the affected arm so that the anatomically shaped end points
forwards. Adapt the Velcro fasteners for upper elbow and thumb (g. 5).
2)
Place the shoulder strap diagonally over the contralateral (intact) shoul-
der. Close the waist strap (g. 6). Adjust the length of shoulder and waist
strap. If required the straps can be shortened. Place the shoulder pad
in desired position.
The position of the shoulder joint orthosis can be adjusted to
external and internal rotation by shifting the abduction pad along the hip.
6.1 Material
The shoulder joint orthosis consists of a breathable, textile-covered foam
avoiding skin irritations. Shoulder as well as waist straps are made of velour
(polyamide). The abduction pad of Omo Immobil Sling, abduction consists
of foam (45kg/m³) and is provided with a Velcro velour cover.
Latex Safe: To our knowledge this product includes no natural
rubber latex.
6.2 Cleaning
Washable in lukewarm water with mild detergent. Wash out thoroughly
and air-dry.

NOTICE
Residues of cleaning agents may cause skin irritations and wear
of material.
For washing the Omo Immobil Sling, abduction remove the
foam pad from the cover and only wash the cover.
The manufacturer’s warranty applies only if the device has been used
under the conditions and for the purposes described. The manufacturer
recommends that the device be used and maintained according to the
instructions for use.
This device meets the requirements of the 93 / 42 / EEC guidelines for medi-
cal devices. This device has been classied as a class I device according
to the classication criteria outlined in appendix IX of the guidelines. The
declaration of conformity was therefore created by Ottobock with sole
responsibility according to appendix VII of the guidelines.

fonction de l’indication médicale.

Un(e) orthèse/bandage trop serré(e) peut provoquer des pressions locales
ou même comprimer les vaisseaux sanguins/nerfs de la région concernée.

Éviter tout contact du produit avec des produits contenant de la graisse
et des acides, des pommades et des lotions.
L’orthèse d’abduction d’épaule Omo Immobil Sling 50A8/ Omo Immobil
Sling 50A9 est exclusivement destinée à l’appareillage orthétique de l’épaule
et à un contact avec une peau saine.

Omo Immobil Sling 50A8
Toutes les indications requérant une immobilisation de l’épaule en rota-
tion interne, par ex. immobilisation post-opératoire et post-traumatique de
l’épaule, inammations de la région de l’épaule et de la ceinture scapulaire,
lésions des parties molles (contusions, foulures, par ex.), lésions muscu-
laires et tendineuses au niveau de l’épaule et de l’avant-bras, capsulite
rétractile, également appelée «épaule gelée» (frozen shoulder), traitement
conservatoire dans les cas d’arthrose et d’éclatement de l’articulation
acromio-claviculaire, omarthrose.
L’orthèse d’épaule Omo Immobil Sling 50A8 xe le bras contre le corps et
immobilise l’épaule en rotation interne.
Omo Immobil Sling 50A9, abduction
Toutes les indications requérant une immobilisation de l’épaule en abduc-
tion de 15°, par ex. immobilisation post-opératoire et post-traumatique et
décharge de l’épaule (suite à une chirurgie des manchettes de rotateurs),
immobilisation suite à une luxation de l’épaule, des lésions des parties molles
(contusions, foulures, par ex.), inammations au niveau de l’épaule et de la
ceinture scapulaire (conit de coiffe des rotateurs, bursite chronique, par
ex.), instabilité de l’épaule, traitement post-opératoire des lésions muscu-
laires et tendineuses du biceps.
L’orthèse d’abduction d’épaule Omo Immobil Sling 50A9, comprenant l’or-
thèse d’épaule 50A8 et des coussinets anatomiques permet d’immobiliser
et de décharger l’épaule en abduction de 15°.
Il est nécessaire de consulter un médecin en présence des indications
suivantes :
Affections/lésions cutanées, inammations, cicatrices exubérantes avec
gonement, rougeur et hyperthermie dans la partie du corps appareillée ;
troubles de la circulation lymphatique, également gonements inexpliqués
des parties molles à distance de l’orthèse ; troubles de la sensibilité et de
la circulation du bras: de la main.

Seul le personnel spécialisé formé est autorisé à procéder au premier aju-
stage et à la première utilisation de l’orthèse d’épaule Omo Immobil Sling
50A8/ Omo Immobil Sling 50A9.
L’orthèse d’épaule est livrée fermée et prête à être essayée. Elle s’utilise
aussi bien à gauche qu’à droite. Elle est livrée préréglée pour le bras droit.
Omo Immobil Sling 50A8 :
Retirer et xer la fermeture ventrale placée sur l’écharpe et l’accrocher
symétriquement dans la même position sur le côté opposé.

Ouvrir les sangles. Introduire le bras dans l’écharpe et poser les ferme-
tures velcro de l’avant-bras et du pouce (ill. 1).
2)
Poser la sangle d’épaule en diagonale sur l’épaule controlatérale (saine).
Serrer la sangle d’épaule de façon à placer le bras dans la position
souhaitée (ill. 2).
3) Pour nir, fermez la sangle de la taille (ill. 3). Il est possible de raccour-
cir les sangles, si besoin est. Poser le rembourrage d’épaule dans la
position souhaitée.
Omo Immobil Sling 50A9, abduction :
Ouvrir la fermeture de la ceinture de la taille. Retirer le plot d’abduction
de l’écharpe et le xer symétriquement sur le côté opposé à l’aide de
l’élément à crochet à velcro (ill. 4). Ouvrir la sangle d’épaule et tourner
son sens de fermeture.

Ouvrir les sangles. Passer le bras dans l’écharpe. Le coude doit reposer
dans le coin fermé de l’écharpe de bras. Placer le coussin de taille, l’ex-
trémité de forme anatomique vers l’avant, sur la hanche du bras affecté.
Pour nir, régler les fermetures velcro pour l’avant-bras et le pouce (ill. 5).
2)
Poser la sangle d’épaule en diagonale sur l’épaule controlatérale (saine).
Pour nir, fermez la sangle de la taille (ill. 6). Régler la longueur des
sangles d’épaule et de taille. Il est possible de raccourcir les sangles, si
besoin est. Poser le rembourrage d’épaule dans la position souhaitée.

Il est possible de régler la position de l’orthèse d’épaule en
rotation externe et interne. Pour ce faire, placer le coussin d’abduction le
long de la hanche.
6.1 Matériaux
L’orthèse d’épaule est constituée d’une mousse laissant respirer la peau,
hypoallergénique et dissimulée par un tissu. Les sangles d’épaule et de
taille sont en velours (polyamide). Le coussin d’abduction de l’orthèse
Omo Immobil Sling d’abduction est en mousse synthétique (45kg/m³) et
est recouvert d’un revêtement en velours agrippant.
Latex Safe : à notre connaissance, le produit ne contient pas
de caoutchouc naturel.
6.2 Nettoyage
Laver l’orthèse à l’eau tiède avec une lessive basses températures. Bien
rincer. Laisser sécher à l’air libre.
AVIS Les résidus de savon peuvent provoquer des irritations cutanées et
des déchirures du matériau.
Pour laver l’orthèse d’abduction Omo Immobil Sling 50A9, retirer
le coussin en mousse synthétique du revêtement et ne laver que ce dernier.
Le fabricant accorde uniquement une garantie si le produit a fait l’objet d’une
utilisation conforme aux instructions prévues par le fabricant et dont l’usage
est celui auquel il est destiné. Le fabricant conseille de manier le produit
conformément à l’usage et de l’entretenir conformément aux instructions.
Ce produit répond aux exigences de la directive 93 / 42 / CEE relative aux
dispositifs médicaux. Le produit a été classé dans la catégorie I en raison
des critères de classication des dispositifs médicaux d’après l’annexe IX
de la directive. La déclaration de conformité a été établie par Ottobock en
sa qualité de fabricant et sous sa propre responsabilité, conformément à
l’annexe VII de la directive.

Ortesi e fasce applicate in modo eccessivamente stretto possono causare
la comparsa di punti di pressione locali ed eventualmente comprimere
vasi sanguigni e nervi.
AVVISO
Il prodotto non è ignifugo e non va pertanto indossato in prossimità di
amme scoperte o di altre fonti di calore.
Evitate il contatto del prodotto con unguenti, sostanze acide, creme e lozioni.
L’ortesi per abduzione di spalla 50A8 Omo Immobil Sling/50A9 Omo Immo-
bil Sling è indicata esclusivamente per il trattamento ortesico della spalla
esclusivamente su cute integra e priva di irritazioni.
La prescrizione deve essere effettuata dal medico.
50A8 Omo Immobil Sling
Tutte le indicazioni per le quali sia necessaria l’immobilizzazione della
spalla in intra-rotazione, come ad es. immobilizzazione post-operatoria e
postraumatica della spalla, irritazioni nell’area della spalla e della cintura
scapolare, lesioni a carico dei tessuti molli (contusioni, distorsioni), lesioni
muscolo-tendinee nell’area della spalla e del braccio, capsulite adesiva
della spalla (“spalla congelata”), trattamento conservativo in presenza di

L’ortesi di spalla 50A8 Omo Immobil Sling ssa il braccio al corpo e im-
mobilizza la spalla in intra-rotazione.
50A9 Omo Immobil Sling, abduzione
Tutte le indicazioni per le quali sia necessaria l’immobilizzazione della spalla
in abduzione a 15°, come ad es. immobilizzazione e scarico post-operatori
e postraumatici della spalla (ad es. in seguito a chirurgia plastica della
cufa dei muscoli rotatori), immobilizzazione in seguito a lussazioni della
spalla, lesioni a carico dei tessuti molli (contusioni, distorsioni), irritazioni
nell’area della spalla e della cintura scapolare (ad es., sindrome da im-
pingement, borsite cronica), instabilità della spalla, trattamento ulteriore
di lesioni muscolo-tendinee del bicipite.

L’ortesi per abduzione di spalla 50A9 Omo Immobil Sling, composta di
ortesi di spalla 50A8 e cuscino per la vita dalla forma anatomica, consente
l’immobilizzazione e lo scarico della spalla in abduzione a 15°.
Per le seguenti indicazioni è necessaria una consultazione medica:
patologie o lesioni della pelle, inammazioni, cicatrici con comparsa di
gonori, arrossamenti e surriscaldamento nell’area del corpo interessata;
disturbi al sistema linfatico – anche in caso di gonori dei tessuti molli di
origine non chiara, indipendenti dall’impiego dell’ausilio; disturbi alla sen-
sibilità e disturbi circolatori del braccio/della mano.
Il primo adattamento e la prima applicazione dell’ortesi per abduzione di
spalla 50A8 Omo Immobil Sling/ 50A9 Omo Immobil Sling devono essere
eseguiti esclusivamente da personale addestrato e specializzato.
L’ortesi di spalla viene consegnata pronta per la prova. È applicabile sia
a destra, sia a sinistra. Al momento della consegna, l’ortesi è pronta per
l’applicazione sul braccio destro.
50A8 Omo Immobil Sling:
Rimuovete la chiusura addominale ssata sulla fascia per il braccio e
ssatela specularmente nella stessa posizione sul lato opposto tramite
chiusura a velcro.

Aprite le cinture. Inserite il braccio nell’apposita fascia e regolate le
cinture a velcro per l’avambraccio e per il pollice (g. 1).

Applicate la cintura per la spalla diagonalmente sulla spalla controlate-
rale (sana). Stringete la cintura per la spalla in modo che si trovi sulla
posizione desiderata (g. 2).
3) Chiudete inne la cintura addominale (g. 3). Se necessario, le cinture
possono essere accorciate. Portate l’imbottitura per la spalla alla po-
sizione desiderata.

Aprite la cintura addominale. Allentate il cuneo di abduzione dalla fascia
per il braccio e ssatelo specularmene sul lato opposto tramite chiusura
a velcro bilaterale in velcro maschio (g. 4). Aprite la cintura per la spalla
e ruotatela in direzione di chiusura.

Aprite le cinture. Inserite il braccio nell’apposita fascia. Il gomito deve
trovarsi nell’angolo chiuso della fascia per il braccio. Posizionate il cu-
scinetto addominale in modo che il lato anatomico sia rivolto in avanti,
sul anco del braccio interessato. Regolate inne le chiusure a velcro
per l’avambraccio e per il pollice (g. 5).

Applicate la cintura per la spalla diagonalmente sulla spalla controlaterale
(sana). Chiudete la cintura addominale (g. 6). Regolate la lunghezza
della cintura per la spalla e di quella addominale. Se necessario, le
cinture possono essere accorciate. Portate l’imbottitura per la spalla
alla posizione desiderata.
La posizione dell’ortesi di spalla può essere regolata in rota-
zione esterna ed interna. Per fare questo, spostate il cuscino per abduzione
lungo il anco.
6.1 Materiale
L’ortesi di spalla è realizzata in schiuma rivestita in tessuto, traspirante e
non irritante per la pelle. La cintura per la spalla e quella addominale sono
in velour (poliammide). Il cuscino per abduzione della Omo Immobil Sling
(abduzione), è realizzato in schiuma (45kg/m³) ed è dotato di un rivestimento
in velour con chiusura a velcro.
Latex Safe: non siamo a conoscenza della presenza di gomma
naturale nel prodotto.
6.2 Pulizia
Lavate il prodotto in acqua tiepida utilizzando un detergente delicato. Ri-
sciacquate con cura e lasciate asciugare il prodotto all’aria.
AVVISO
Eventuali residui di sapone possono dar luogo ad irritazioni cutanee
e alla prematura usura del materiale.
