
Installation is made at the front screen and head unit,
To remove the front unit you need to access 4 bolts, 2
located behind the air vents and 2 located behind the
ashtray assembly.
Once removed you may disconnect all plugs and
remove the unit completely.

With the interface installed you will now have an
additional source in the menu via the MODE button.
The source you have added can be chosen using the
‘dip switches’ inside the interface. Settings are as
follows.
1 2 3 4 mode added
On on on -- DVD changer
Off on on -- DVD player
On off on -- NAVIGATION
- - - off PAL input
- - - on NTSC input
Note;
You cannot add a source that is already fitted to the
vehicle.
The audio and video from your added source will switch
via the mode button as factory.
Video Input
The Video input is inserted at the BLUE 6 way plug
located at the top of the unit, labelled as 1 opposite for
cars without DVD Changer. Or at the Bottom BLUE
plug, labelled as 4 opposite for cars with DVD Changer.
The pins are inserted as follows;
Video signal Pin 1 Vid-
eo shield Pin 4
Video signal Pin 3 (with DVDC) Vid-
eo ground Pin 6 (with DVDC)
Audio Input
The Audio input is inserted at the White 12 way plug
located at the bottom of the unit (labelled as 3 opposite)
The pins are inserted as follows;
Left signal pin 4
Left ground pin 5
Right signal pin 2
Right ground pin 3
AV1LEX interface
The AV1LEX interface is connected at the White 20 way
plug (labelled as 2 opposite)
The connections are as follows;
RED to 12v Acc
BLACK to 12v– Ground
BLUE to PURPLE (pin5)
BLUE/WHITE to PINK (pin15)
