Installing Your TV
Attaching the Stand to the TV
YourTV comes with a pedestal stand that lets you place
it on the surface of a media console, table, or other
level surface. Locate the stand, stand post, and the 8
screws included in the box.
To prepare the TV for installation, carefully place the TV
face down on a cushioned surface and then follow the
instructions below:
Step 1. Alignthe screw holes on the bottom ofthe stand
post with the screw holes on the stand.
Step 2. Use a cross-head screwdriver to tighten four of
the included screws in order to fasten the stand post to
the stand. Do not over-tighten.
Step 3. Align the screw holes of the stand post with the
screw holes on the back of the TV.

Step 4. Use a cross-head screwdriver to tighten the
four remaining screws in order to fasten the stand to
the TV. Do not over-tighten.
Step 5. Stand the TV up and place it on a at and level
surface. Make sure that it is installed in a space that
provides at least 4 inches of clearance all around the TV.
⚠⚠Make sure power is disconnected when
installing the stand.
To minimize the chance of damage to the
TV, ask a partner for assistance when in-
stalling the stand.
How to Mount the TV to a Wall
To mount your TV to a wall, you will need a wall mount
kit. You can nd a variety of mounts at your local elec-
tronics retailer. Make sure that your kit is specied to
support the VESA mount pattern and weight of the
unit. Refer to the Specications section of this manual
before purchasing your wall mount kit.
To prepare the TV for use with your wall mount kit, you
will need to detach the stand. Carefully place the TV
face down on a cushioned surface and then reverse the
instructions for attaching the stand to the TV.

Naxa Electronics recommends that wall mounting be
performed by a qualied professional installer. Naxa
is not liable for any accidents or damage to property
or TV due to incorrect installation.
⚠⚠The wall mount kit should be rated to sup-
port the size and weight of the TV set. Fol-
low the instructions supplied with the kit to
safely and securely mount your TV.
Make sure power is disconnected before
uninstalling the stand or mounting the TV.
To minimize the chance of damage to the
TV, ask a partner for assistance when unin-
stalling the stand or mounting the TV.
⚠L After the stand has been removed, store it
safely together with the screws for use in
the future.

Power connection. Use the included power
cable/adapter to connect the TV to power.
16 USB port The USB port is active when the TV is set to
USB mode. Load USB memory sticks here.
⚠L The USB port is designed for
media playback from ash
memory devices. It is not de-
signed to charge high-power
devices.
17 HDMI In The HDMI input connector is active when
the TV is set to HDMI mode. This connec-
tor allows the TV to receive high-denition
audio/video signals with the use of an
HDMI cable.
18 VGA In The VGA input connector is active when the
TV is set to VGA mode. This connector al-
lows the TV to receive high-denition video
signals with the use of a 15-pin VGA cable.

19 PC Audio In The 3.5 mm stereo input connector is active
when the TV is set to VGA mode. This connector
allows the TV to receive stereo audio signals
with the use of a 3.5 mm stereo patch cable.
⚠L Use this connection in
conjunction with the VGA In
connection [18].
20 Y/Pb/Pr In The component video input connector is
active when the TV is set to YPbPr mode.
This connector allows the TV to receive
high-denition video signals with the use
of a component video cable.

21 RF In The coaxial antenna input is active when
the TV is set to TV mode. This connector
allows the TV to receive RF audio/video
signals with the use of a coaxial cable from
devices with RF output (e.g., TV antennas,
cable boxes).
22 Earphone
out
The 3.5 mm earphone output is active
when the TV is set to TV mode. This con-
nector allows the TV to send stereo audio
signals to headphones or earphones with a
3.5mm plug.

23 Speakers Full-range drivers deliver powerful stereo
sound.
24 Coaxial Out The coaxial output is active when the TV is
set to TV mode. This connector allows the
TV to send digital audio signals to devices
with digital audio input (e.g.. a digital audio
receiver or amplier).
25 CVBS In The composite video input connector is
active when the TV is set to AV mode. This
connector allows the TV to receive stan-
dard-denition video signals with the use
of the included AV cable (or a composite
video cable).
⚠L Use this video connection in
conjunction with the shared
audio L/R In connection [26].
26 L/R in The L/R audio input connector is active
when the TV is set to YPbPr or AV mode.
This connector allows the TV to receive
stereo audio signals with the use of the
included AV cable (or an RCA stereo patch
cable).
⚠L Use this shared audio con-
nection in conjunction with
the YPbPr or CVBS connec-
tions [20 or 25].

27 USB (DVD) This USB port is active when the TV is set to
DVD mode and USB mode is selected (press
MEDIA on the remote). Load USB memory
sticks here.
⚠L The USB port is designed for
media playback from ash
memory devices. It is not de-
signed to charge high-power
devices.
28 SD/MMC/MS The SD/MMC/MS player is active when the
TV is set to DVD mode and SD/MMC/MS
is selected (press MEDIA on the remote).
Load compatible SD, MMC, or MS memory
cards here.
29 DVD The DVD player is active when the TV is
set to DVD mode. Load compatible optical
discs here (e.g., DVD, CD). To load a disc,
gently insert the disc into the slot with the
label side facing the back of the TV; the
loading mechanism will grasp the disc and
automatically nish the loading process.
⚠L Never force a disc into the
slot. If the slot fails to accept
a disc, another disc may be
loaded. Press EJECT to remove
the other disc.

Battery Installation
The remote control is powered by two (2) AAA-type
batteries.
1. Pull down on the tab of the battery compartment
cover to release the latch and then lift the cover off.
2. Remove the batteries and replace it with two new
“AAA” batteries.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
⚠L Batteries in the remote will last for ap-
proximately 1 year. Replace the batteries if
the remote control does not work. Always
dispose of batteries according to your local
municipal regulations.
⚠⚠The batteries used in the remote control
may present a re or chemical burn if
mistreated. Do not recharge, disassemble,
incinerate, or heat the battery (~212°F).
Keep batteries away from children.
Remove the batteries from the remote to
prevent leakage if it will not be used for a
long time.
Always replace batteries at the same time.
Do not mix new and old batteries.
Always use the same type of battery. Do
not mix battery types (e.g., alkaline with
manganese, or rechargeable batteries with
non-rechargeable batteries).
Do not spill water on the remote control.
Do not use the remote control for other
equipment at the same time.

Using the Remote Control
Aim the IR emitter of the remote control at the remote
sensor on the front of the unit and then press a key. The
remote control will work within 20 feet of the remote
sensor.
Connect Power
The unit can be powered with the AC power adapter or
the DC car adapter.
Using the AC Power Adapter
Use the included AC power adapter to connect the unit
to AC household power.
•Connect the two-pronged end of the adapter to a
household power outlet.
•Connect the barrel plug end of the adapter to the
Power socket [15] of the unit.
⚠⚠The adapter supports AC 110-240V power
only.
Do not connect the power adapter to a
power outlet other than that which is
indicated here or on the label as this may
result in the risk of re or electric shock.
Do not handle the power plug with wet
hands. Doing so may cause electric shock.

Do not use the adapter with any other
power source.
Using the DC Car Adapter
Use the included DC car adapter to connect the unit to
DC power socket found on cars, campers, boats, and
more.
•Connect the large end of the DC car adapter to a
standard DC car power socket.
•Connect the barrel plug end of the adapter to the
Power socket [15] of the unit.
Basic Functions
Turning the Unit On and O
To turn the unit on, press POWER [9]. The power indica-
tor [12] will light blue.
To turn place the unit in Standby mode, press POWER
[9]. The power indicator [14] will turn red.
⚠L To turn the unit off completely, disconnect
the power plug. The power indicator [12]
will turn turn off.
The TV will automatically switch to Standby
mode after 10 minutes if no signal is de-
tected.
⚠⚠After placing the TV in Standby mode, wait
5 seconds before turning the TV on again.

Setting the Input Source
Set the input source to choose which connection is ac-
tive and displayed on the TV screen.
Press SOURCE [8] to access the input source menu, then
press CH– or CH + [5, 6] to change the input source.
Press SOURCE [8] again to conrm the selection.
⚠L You may also use the remote control. Press
the SOURCE key, and then use the arrow
keys to change the input source. Press EN-
TER to conrm the selection.
Adjusting the Volume
•Use the VOL– and VOL+ keys [3, 4] to decrease or
increase the volume level, respectively.
•Press the MUTE key on the remote to disable sound
output completely. Press the MUTE key again to
restore sound output.
Using the Number Keypad
Use the number keypad (1-0, 9) on the remote to tune
directly to a channel or to input a value when prompt-
ed on a menu or option screen.
To tune to channel 15-1, for instance:
1. Press the “1” key, then press the “5” key.
2. Press the “-/--” key.
3. Press the ENTER key.
To go to track 15, for instance:
1. Press the “1” key, then press the “5” key.
2. Press the ENTER key.
