moist areas, simply wipe it dry.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Beforereturning your Nero Refrigerator to the store, check the following
points; you may be able to solve any problem yourself.
• Checkpower cable is plugged in and
working. The automac cycles ensure the defrosng is done in the most efficient manner, and
when required. It is not recommended to leave the fridge in the manually set defrost mode for
prolonged periods of me.
• Note it is normal to hear refrigerant
flowing as the compressor stops and starts.
IMPORTANT
The fridge will go through a normal periodical defrosng cycle, and a manual defrosng
operaon is only require in most extreme cases. It is beer to avoid if not necessary.
While in the ‘defrost’ mode, the fridge cooling power is reduced , as the compressor is not

Note: in normal operaon the controller turns the compressor off at the set
temperature, and back on aer the temperature had risen by around 5°c.
As such, the reading in the electronic controller is almost always a few degrees above -
poinset and that, t is perfectly OK.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilies, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instrucon concerning use of the appliance by a person

The refrigerator will not operate to specifications if sunlight penetrates
the glass doors. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight inside the fridge

Replacing Lamps
Your Fridge is using a long- life, energy-saving LED light tube. Should you need to
replace this light, please contact your nearest stockist or service agent for a
suitable replacement part.
To change the light tube:
1. Unplug the power plug and ensure the light switch is off.

For models with light cover, remove the screws on both ends of the light
cover, take off the lamp cover, pull out the wires slightly.
Gently pull out the connector at the end of the light tube.
Insert the connector into the new lamp, place the lamp cover and fasten it.

Do not damage any parts of the appliance which carry refrigerant by piercing, perforang, crushing,
twisng or scraping. If the refrigerant comes into contact with the eyes, it may cause serious eye injury.
Always remember to unplug the appliance before cleaning. Never unplug your appliance by pulling on the
power cable. Always grip plug firmly and pull straight out from the socket. Always check that the plug and
cable are undamaged.
All repairs must be carried out by a qualified technician. Inadequate repairs may be dangerous. Never try
to repair the refrigerator yourself.
Should the cover of the interior light or fan fall off or break, switch the refrigerator off immediately and
replace the cover.
Ensure your chosen locaon has a flat and stable surface. The unit may be leveled by turning either or
both of the adjustable feet in the front corners. Check the unit is level using a spirit level.
Do not obstruct or cover the venlaon aperture.
Make sure there is a suitable power Outlet (240 volts, 10 amps outlet) with proper grounding to power
the refrigerator.
Disposal of Old Appliances
Be sure to make any locks unusable, remove any door(s) and discard separately.
Warning – chemical hazard: do not allow children to play with the old appliance.
Contact your local authority for disposal procedures.
Before disposing of an old appliance, please make sure it is switched off and safe. Unplug the
appliance and break any locks in order to avoid children becoming trapped.
Please note : refrigeraon system contains gas and refrigerants which require speciali
sed waste
disposal. Some vulnerable materials in a refrigerator can be recycled. Contact your local waste
disposal depot for proper disposal of an old appliance and contact your local authority or dealer if
you have any quesons.
Please ensure the cooling systems and tubes of your refrigerator are not damaged prior to disposal.
You can contribute to environmental awareness by insisng on an appropriate non-pollung method
of disposal.
Disposal of Packaging
Do not allow children to play with the packaging, and dispose of plasc bags safely.
The cardboard may be broken or cut into smaller pieces and recycled . Any wrapping cover is made of
polyethylene. The polyethylene pads and padding contain no fluorochloric hydrocarbons, and as such
are most suitable for adequate recycling .

Cleaning
1Unplug your Fridge from power source and remove any items from inside. It is best to
place these temporarily in another refrigerator.
2. Wash the inner compartment with warm water and neutral mild detergent. DO NOT allow the
control panel, cables or plug to get wet.
NEVER use corrosive detergents, wire blasters, or abrasive scourers to clean your
Fridge.
NEVER use metal or sharp implements to scrape any part of the fridge.
3. Dry all surface thoroughly.
4. To ensure trouble -free operaon the condenser should be cleaned every three months where
appropriate using a vacuum hose. The condenser is located behind lower grill of the cabinet. In
exceponally dusty.
It is recommended that areas around the condenser are cleaned more oen.
5. Use mild soapy water to clean the gasket and seals around the door.
6. The external surfaces of the fridge can be cleaned with warm water and mild detergent.
IMPORTANT: allow the refrigerator to stand still and
upright for 8 hours before plugging it into the power!
Before Using For the First Time
Do not posion this appliance with its rear panel directly against a wall. For good circulaon and
operang efficiency, the venlaon grilles must never be blocked.
Remove all packaging and place the Fridge on a stable, secure flat surface. Posion the
Fridge away fr
om heat sources, where the unit is well -venlated and protected from
moisture, or extremes of heat or cold. The refrigerator may not funcon properly if the ambient
temperature rises above +40 for prolonged periods of me.
Ensur
e the vents behind the fridge are clear, and clean, and not obstructed from the other side,
such that air circulaon is enabled.
Do Not Use An Extension Lead. If the mains cable will not reach the nearest socket, either
rearrange your installaon layout or ask a qualified electrician to fit a new socket.
If power is cut off, wait for at least 5 minutes before plugging the unit in again to avoid damaging
the compressor.
Do not place combusble, explosive or volale arcles, corrosive acid or alkali, or liquid in glass
containers into the Fridge.. Always exercise cauon if adjusng the temperature.

There are several types of controller/thermostat for different models.
Please check which type of controller on your unit.
Thermostat sengs
Thermostat “0” posion indicates the Refrigerator is turn off although
power is sll being supplied. By turning the thermostat dial clockwise,
the Refrigerator will turn on automacally. The sengs 1(MIN) - 7 (MAX)
regulate the interior temperature of the Refrigerator.
Seng 0 = Off (not operang)
Seng 1 (or MIN) = lowest seng (warmest internal temperature)
Seng 7 (or MAX) = highest seng (coldest internal temperature)
Adjust the internal temperature as required according to the amount of
product and the ambient temperature.
The internal temperature varies in different parts of the Refrigerator.
The back of the Refrigerator is coldest.

Ice may build up on the evaporator if the unit is put to work constantly for a period of me. When ice begins to build up to
approx 10 mm or1/5 inch thick, defrost is required.
Empty the cabinet of the products that must stay at cold condion. Switch the thermostat to “OFF”posion.
The ice will start to melt. When the ice has melted and drained away, dry off any residual moisture with a so cloth. Switch on the
power again via thermostat.
Please note it will take around 12 hours for the cabinet to get back down to temperature with the products.

The temperature in the appliance is controlled by the temperature
control knob located on the rear of the fridge on the outside of the
product. Rotate the control knob le or right to regulate the temp-
erature inside the fridge, you may need a flat headed screw driver
or a coin to do this.
The seng 1(MIN)-5(MAX) regulate the interior temperature.
