DESCRIPTION

TIP & SAFTY PRECAUTIONS
1. Always use your appliance from a power outlet of the voltage (A.C. only),
current marked on the appliance. To avoid circuit overload, do not operate
another high wattage appliance on the same circuit.
2. Do not drag cord emphatically and do not place this appliance on or near a
hot gas or electric burner or on the top of other electric appliances and wettest
place.
3. When the kettle working, please place the spout of the kettle against the user
to avoid the hot steam. Do not touch hot surfaces, use the handle. Do not carry
the lid but use handle when removing the kettle with hot water. Do not remove
lid during boiling cycle.
4. Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near
children, inrm persons or animals.
WARNING: Keep children away from appliance and do not let them drag the
cord and touch the kettle especially during the kettle working or result in scald
or electric shock. This appliance is not intended for use by: Children; or persons
who may suffer from a mental and/or physical impairment-unless they are
adequately supervised in its operation and use. Persons who have a limited or
no understanding in the operation and use of this appliance must rst read and
fully understand the contents of the enclosed instruction booklet, and where
appropriate seek additional guidance on its operation and use from the person
responsible for their safety.
5. Do not immerse any part of the appliance in water or other liquid. Do not use
your appliance with an extension cord unless this cord has been checked and
tested by a qualied technician or service person.
6. Always unplug from the plug socket when in following conditions: No water in
kettle, lling water, not in use, before cleaning or moving kettle. Leave appliance
at a dry and shady place.
7. If the Kettle goes wrong, please send it to our Service Department for
examination and repair. Never repair the appliance by yourself. WARNING: To
reduce the risk of re or electric shock, do not remove the bottom cover of the
body or the power base by yourself.
8. Do not use a base unit other than the one supplied. The use of accessory
attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may result in re,electrical
shock or personal injury.
9. Do not let the power cord touch hot surface the kettle.
10. Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.

OPERATING INSTRUCTION
11. Do not ll kettle when positioned on base, Dry the water on the bottom of the
body before place it onto power base.
12. Never leave the appliance unattended when in use.
13. Do not use the kettle to heat anything other than water.
14. If the power cord is damaged, it must be changed by manufacturer or
authorized persons.
15. To prolong the kettle’s life, please do not refill the kettle with water
immediately when the kettle is hot, please let the kettle cool down before re-use
or cleaning. Please clean the mineral deposits in the kettle regularly. Do not use
chemic matter to clean the surface of the kettle
16. This appliance is designed for domestic use only and not for commercial
applications.
1. Remove the kettle from the base unit before lling.
2. Fill the kettle with water to the desired level. Do not ll with more than the
“MAX” indication water. Avoid overlling to prevent boiling water being ejected
from around the top of kettle.
3. Do not ll with less than 0.4 litre of water (or below the “MIN” indication ) to
prevent the kettle running dry while operating.
4. Do not forget to close the lid after lling. Otherwise the kettle, will not automat-
ically switch off after use.
5. Make sure there is no water on the base unit or on the outside of the kettle,
thence place the kettle on the base unit, which is connected to a wall socket.
6. The appliance is switched on by setting the Boil switch into the “down” position.
The pilot light will come on.
7. When the water has boiled the appliance switches off automatically.
8. At any time you can switch the kettle off manually by setting the I/O switch into
“up” position.
9. If switched off automatically, rst allow the built-in thermal safety switch 15-20
seconds to cool down. Than you may switch on again.
10. During the cooling down do not force the Boil switch in to the “up” position as

CLEANING AND CARE
- Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply
and has cooled down completely.
- Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning solutions. this damage the operating
mechanism.
- Do not immerse the base or the kettle in any liquid, To clean the exterior, a
slightly damp,lint-free cloth may be used
- It is advisable to remove lime deposits form the kettle at regular intervals.
Decalcifying
- Should the appliance switch off before reaching boiling point. this is a sign that
decalcifying is necessary.
- Any regular descaling agent may be used, provided the relevant instructions
are observed.Do not fill the kettle to the upper mark to avoid spillage if the
descaling agent causes the water to foam.
- To clean the kettle thoroughly of any decalcication residues, let it go through
several boiling cycles, using clean water with each cycle. Rinse the kettle with
clean water afterwards.
