INSTALLATION
1. Read this pamphlet in its entirety before using your Newaire Plugin-II.
2. Plug your unit into any 120 VAC grounded outlet. Ideally, the outlet should
be as high as possible and should be in an area free of any immediate ob-
struction.
3. Turn the unit on by depressing the on/off button. The green indicator light
will illuminate steadily, indicating that the unit is turned on and is functioning
properly. Since there are no moving parts or fan in this unit it will operate in
total silence. Air movement is accomplished solely by use of electrical en-
ergy.
4. The faceplate is secured by snapping into Cover Retaining Clips (G)
5. At this point , the operating action of the on/off switch should be checked. If
necessary, adjust the faceplate to assure the on/off switch is operating
properly.
6. The operating action of the slightly recessed push button switch requires the
use of a tool such as a ball point pen or similar blunt instrument. This
safety feature prevents accidental shut-offs of the unit. Once this is accom-
plished, the 1/4’” security screw may be installed securing the face plate.
