1. Introduction
Main features
Thank you for purchasing the semi-knocked down (SKD) fixed
wall-mount enclosures from Nexxt Solutions. Each wall-mount
unit is housed in lockable heavy-gauge metal enclosure to keep
wires safe and properly organized. Available with 4, 6, 9, 12,
15 and 18 rack spaces, these units are designed for mounting
multiple patch panels and other voice/data equipment where
space is at a premium. Easy to install and assemble, our wall
mount cabinets offer a cost-effective solution for applications
requiring protection, accessibility and cable management capabi-
lities.
2. Preliminary steps
• Prior to installing this product, you must read all instructions
thoroughly.
• Keep these instructions handy in an easily accessible location
for future reference.
• A clean, flat, level, protected floor area should be provided for
rack assembly to prevent damage to parts.
• The installer will need to have the following items and tools
available to assemble and install the rack. They are not
included in the package.
• 132lb maximum load capacity
• Top and bottom access to cables
• Independently locking front and rear section
• Standard square-punched mounting rails for faster
component loading
• Includes ventilation units from 110VAC to 220VAC

• The illustration provides an exploded
view of all the enclosure components you
are about to put together.
• Open the box and verify that all parts,
hardware and accessories are included
in the package.
• Inspect the cabinet components and
identify each individual part to ensure
proper assembly of the unit.
• Identify the bottom panel /base.1 bottom panel

• Now, identify the front frame and the
rear panel/cover.
• Place the rear panel on the base,
making sure to position the cable
pathway closer to the back cover.
• Position the front frame on the base,
making sure the slots on the frame are
facing inwards, so as to engage the
plastic stops located on the side panels.
• We recommend inserting the
fastening screws from the outside of the
unit first, and then tighten the nuts from
the inside.

• Identify the top panel.
• Place the cover on top of the rear
panel and front frame, making sure to
position the cable pathway closer to
such rear panel.
• To increase the rigidity of the
structure, insert the screws and nuts
through the holes on the lateral openings
of the cabinet where the side panels are
to be installed.
• We recommend inserting the
fastening screws from the outside of the
unit first, and then tighten the nuts from
the inside.

installation
items needed
• Identify profiles or perforated rails for
equipment mounting.
• Position the perforated mounting rails
so as to have from high to low the
number of rack units stamped on each
column.
• In addition, the row of numbers on
each vertical rail must be facing each
other on both, the front and rear
sections of the unit.
• Proceed to insert the M6XL12
phillips-head screws from the inside
through the vertical mounting rails.
Then thread a flange nut so as to fix
them to the side bars.

• Identify the two side panels. Both are
identical for this model.
• Next, identify one cam lock and key
set, including one lock offset plate.
• Install the cam lock in the opening
located on the side panels.
• Then insert the locknut and tightly
fasten o secure it in place.
• Proceed to attach the offset plate to
the lock from the inside, and tightly
fasten the assembly using the supplied
screw, flat and spring washers.

• Place bottom section of each side
panel over the outer edge of the cabinet
base.
• Slide the plastic retaining latches on
both sides of the panel to their lock
position.
• Turn the key to engage the cam lock.
• Identify the front tempered glass door.
• Next, identify one cam lock and key set,
including the 90° offset plate.
• Install the cam lock in the opening
located on the front door.
• Then insert the locknut and tightly
fasten o secure it in place.
• Proceed to attach the 90° offset plate
to the lock from the inside, and tightly
fasten the assembly using the supplied
screw, flat and spring washers.

• Identify the door pivot pin, the flat
metal washer and the two plastic
guides.
• Insert the pin plastic guides in the top
and bottom holes located on the front
section of the structure.
• Then fit the pin into the plastic guide
found on the right side of the bottom
panel and insert a metal washer.

• Identify the green/yellow pigtail
grounding cable.
• Locate the grounding copper studs on
the lower section of the door and on the
right corner of the bottom panel.
• Unfasten the nut from each stud and
remove one of the two copper washers.
• Connect one end of the pigtail
grounding cable to the enclosure stud,
and the other end, to the stud located
on the front tempered glass door.
• Replace the copper washer you just
removed and screw the nut back to
attach both ends of the pigtail.
• The enclosure assembly is now
complete.
Note: This enclosure includes ventilation
unit(s) designed to improve air flow.
These operate with voltages of 110VAC
and 220VAC.

• Identify the front tempered glass door
and carefully lower it to engage the pivot
pin below.
• Pull down the spring lock located on
the upper right section of the door and
release it into the hinge hole of the
enclosure.
