User manual
Warning: the wall structure must be capable of supporting the total weight, which
includes the cabinet plus its maximum static load. Otherwise, the wall structure must be
reinforced.
Caution: this product is heavy, at least two qualified people should perform the
assembly procedure. Personal injury and/or property damage can result from dropping
or mishandling the enclosure.
Do not exceed the recommended load capacity per rack, and the maximum weight
supported by the enclosure, as indicated by the manufacturer’s specifications. Failure
to comply will void the warranty of this product.
For safety, use proper equipment and tools during the assembly to prevent personal
injury and to avoid damaging its parts.
FALLING EQUIPMENT HAZARD: ensure that the cabinet is properly anchored to the
wall prior to loading equipment inside the enclosure.

1. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the semi-knocked down (SKD) fixed wallmount enclosure from
Nexxt Solutions. Our wallmount unit is housed in a lockable heavy-gauge metal
enclosure, to keep network equipment and cables safe and properly organized. Each
cabinet includes a fan tray assembly to ensure optimum ventilation inside the unit.
Available with 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18 rack spaces, these enclosures are designed for
mounting multiple patch panels and other voice/data equipment where space is at a
premium. Easy to install and assemble, our wallmount cabinets offer a cost-effective
solution for applications requiring protection, accessibility and cable management
capabilities.

DANGER All parts of the unit must be properly grounded to the frame
of the enclosure and connected to the Common Bonding
Network (CBN) of your facility.

2.Preliminary steps
• Prior to installing this product, you must read all instructions thoroughly.
• Keep these instructions handy in an easily accessible location for future reference.
• A clean, flat, level, protected floor area should be provided for cabinet assembly to
prevent damage to parts.
• The installers may need to have the following items and tools available to assemble
and install the cabinet. They are not included in the box.
3. Product overview and components
Upon opening the box, inspect the contents to ensure that all the items listed
below are included:
1. Phillips screwdriver
2. Power drill with the following bits:
Phillips-head tip
3. Combination wrench #13
4. Hex to square socket adaptor
5. Pair of gloves
6. Long nose pliers

Bottom panel subassembly
1. Align the left support frame with the front and back corners of the
bottom panel. The section with the grille must be facing the front,
and the cable entry plate should be facing the back.
2. Secure both ends of the frame to the bottom panel using the
M8x12 hexagon screws and nuts, as illustrated below.

4. Assembly procedure (recommended)
• The illustration provides an exploded view of all the
enclosure components you are about to put together.
• Open the boxes and verify that all parts, hardware
and accessories are included in the package.
• Inspect the cabinet components and identify each
individual part to ensure proper assembly of the unit.

3. Insert the M4 self-tapping screws onto the front end of the
bottom panel, as shown in image below.

4. Repeat instructions 1 though 3 to attach the right support frame
to the bottom panel.
Note: do not fully-tighten the screws at this point.
5. Once step 4 is executed, your bottom panel subassembly will be
ready for next phase.

Frame subassembly
1. Place and align the top panel onto the bottom panel subassembly.
The section with the grille must be facing the front, and the cable
entry plate should be facing the back.
2.Secure both ends of the frame to the top panel using the M8x12
hexagon screws and nuts, as shown in the image below.

5. The frame assembly has been successfully completed.
4. Attach the cable entry plate to the fan assembly tray using the
M4x8mm self-tapping screws.
3. Insert the M4 self-tapping screws onto the front end of the
bottom panel subassembly, as shown in image below.
Note: now that the frame assembly is complete, firmly tighten all the
screws to properly secure, align and square off the structure.

Installing horizontal brackets
1. On the left side of the frame, position the left L-shape bracket
between the front and rear sections of the enclosure.
2. Select the mounting height inside the enclosure.
3. Proceed to insert the M6 cage nuts into the selected mounting
holes of the rail.
4. Align the oval perforation of the L-bracket (shorter side) with the
square mounting holes on the rail and secure it using the supplied
M6x12 screws and the M6 cage nuts.
5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 for installing the right side.

Rear panel
1. Align the back panel tab with the slot on the bottom frame.

3. Make sure to place the left vertical rails in their upright position,
having the rack unit numbers shown from high (top) to low (bottom).
4. In addition, the row of numbers on each vertical rail must be facing
each other on the front and rear sections of the assembly.
5. To secure the left vertical rail to the enclosure, insert the supplied
M5 self-tapping screws in the corresponding mounting holes on the
frame.
Note: make sure not to fully-tighen the first screw (front and rear
sections) until the second screw on the vertical rail has been inserted.
When done, proceed to firmly tighten both screws in every fastening
point.
6. Repeat steps from 1 through 5 in order to install the right vertical
rails.

Vertical rails installation
1. Position the left vertical rails between the front and rear frames.
2. Align the mouning holes of the left vertical rails with the mounting
holes located on the top and bottom of the frame assembly, as per
the image below.
Note: the position of the mounting holes must match the ones on
the top and bottom to avoid misalignment.

Lateral panels
1. Next, identify the 2 side panels. Both are identical for this model.
2. Place bottom section of the left side panel over the outer edge of
the cabinet base.
3. Slide the two latches inward to their open position while pushing
the panel forward into the frame.
4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 to mount the right side panel.
5. Test to verify that the latching mechanism of the side panels are
working properly.
Front door installation
1. Insert a plastic washer in the pivot pin.
2. Position the front glass tempered door and carefully lower it to
engage the pivot pin with the right or left side (as per customer’s
preference) of the bottom panel.
3. Next, pull down the spring lock located on the upper right
section of the door and release it into the hinge hole in the
enclosure.
4. Use the keys to test the locking mechanism of the door.

2. Push the panel forward into the frame and make sure all mounting
holes are aligned.
3. Using the M4 self-tapping screws, secure the rear panel to the
enclosure.
Mounting bracket
1. Align the tab on the mounting bracket with the slots on the upper
section of the frame.
2. Make sure that the mounting holes on the bracket align with those
on the frame.
3. Using the M4 self-tapping screws, secure the mounting bracket to
the enclosure.
Note: fully-tighten the screws only after all the screws have been
inserted.

Notes
Grounding connection
1. Connect the first grounding cable to the door using the provided
hardware.
2. Likewise, connect the second grounding cable to the side panel
using the hardware provided.
3. Using the self-tapping screw bind both grounding cables to the
closest mounting hole on the right side horizontal beam.
4. Connect the grounding cable to the left side panel on the rear
section of the cabinet.
5. Using the self-tapping screw bind the grounding cable to the
closest mounting hole on the left side horizontal beam.
Note: fully-tighten the screws only after all the screws have been
inserted.
6. Then connect the designated grounding location directly to your
facility's earth ground with an 8 AWG wire. Do not use the enclosure
without an earth ground connection.
