Material damage
Loudspeakers contain magnets which may
damage electronic equipment such as hard
drives, bank cards, and video monitors.
Please store and transport such equipment
separately or within appropriate distance to
the loudspeakers.
Personal injury
Never stand in the immediate vicinity of loud-
speakers driven at a high level. Professional
loudspeaker systems are capable of causing
sound pressure levels detrimental to human
health. Even seemingly non-critical sound
levels (from approx. 95 dB SPL) can cause
hearing damage if people are exposed to it
over longer periods of time.
In order to prevent accidents when deploying
loudspeakers on the ground or when flown,
please take note of the following:
When setting up the loudspeakers or loud-
speaker stands, make sure they are standing
on a firm surface. If you place several
systems on top of one another, use appropri-
ate securing gear to prevent movement.
Only use accessories which have been
tested and approved by NNNN for assembly
and mobile deployment. Pay attention to
the correct application and maximum load
capacity of the accessories as detailed in our
rigging manuals.
Ensure that all third party hardware, fixings
and fasteners used for installation or mobile
deployment are of an appropriate size and
load safety factor. Pay attention to the man-
ufacturers’ instructions and to the relevant
safety guidelines.
Be careful of pinching and other physical
hazards when deploying or transporting
equipment.
Regularly check the loudspeaker cabinets
and accessories for visible signs of wear and
tear, and replace them when necessary.
Regularly check all load bearing bolts in the
mounting devices.

GAGE 70 V1.1 EN

The GAGE 70 is an arrayable point source for small
and medium sized applications where sound quality
is prioritized over sound pressure level. It combines
two 5.25” and three 3.5” in a horn loaded cabinet
which provides directivity and controlled dispersion
only previously possible with larger systems.
Countering feedback
The GAGE 70 is designed to eliminate audio
feedback. The acoustic design provides acoustic
energy per area lower than the feedback threshold
of handheld microphones within practical distance
to the speaker. This enables flexibility in installation
and setups in small and medium sized venues with a
seamless experience.

Controlled dispersion
The geometry of the horn limits
the dispersion to 60 x 40 degrees,
which is consistent throughout the
range. This enables it to cover many
venues with just one cabinet, but the
GAGE 70 is also arrayable. Up to six
cabinets can be combined to achieve
dispersion angles in multiples of
60 degrees, up to a full circle, with
seamless overlap.
Patented technology
The patents employed in the GAGE
70 enable a high degree of directivity.
The horn loading mechanism enables
sensitivity, impulse response and
distortion level without competition.
Deployment
The GAGE 70 can be easily stacked,
pole mounted or flown with NNNN
accessories, allowing a flexibility
of -30 to +10 degrees in 5 degree
increments. The dispersion angles
are perfectly aligned with the outer
walls of the cabinet enabling visual
confirmation of the dispersion field
and minimal effort installation by
aligning the walls of the cabinet and
the venue. This limits reverberations
and thus improves clarity and
increases critical distance.
Materials
The GAGE 70 is designed to be light
and maneuverable. It is made of
birch plywood that is covered with a
weather, scratch, and impact resist-
ant polyurethane coating. The grilles,
handles and input panel are made of
coated aluminium.

Incorporated into the back grille are two Neutrik
SpeakON 4 pole connectors. All four pins of both
connectors are wired in parallel with pins 1+/1-
connected to the high frequency drivers and pins
2+/2- connected to the woofers. While using one of
the connectors as input, the second can be used to
interconnect several cabinets.

Operation
The GAGE 70 is a 2-way cabinet that can
be driven by any Powersoft amplifier with a
NNNN preset or amplifiers with at least two
output channels of an appropriate capacity
and the NNNN preset loaded into its DSP/
external DSP, any of these solutions must
be wired into a SpeakON 4 pole connection.
Updated Powersoft amplifiers include presets
for the GAGE 70 in several different setups,
which can be accessed through the native
menu Speaker preset > NNNN > Gage > Gage
70. A detailed description of the operation
of Powersoft amplifiers can be found in the
Powersoft Quick Guides.

Applications
The GAGE 70 can be used as a stand-alone system
for smaller venues, arrayed for wider applications up
to 360 degree scenes, and combined with the Devor
series for applications requiring more low frequency
extension.
