Get to know your Noahpad UMPC
Before using this product, please read the usage principles of the
following guidance and conform to these rules, which will prolong the
service life of the product.
● It is not allowed to touch or press the display with your hand,
otherwise the display may be damaged
● To avoid using the computer under a messy environment with flying
dust (the flying dust can cause system malfunction easily)
● It is not allowed to put heavy weight onto the computer; articles
such as books and paper also are not allowed toe pied on the
computer; please do not cover the top head of the LCD screen to
avoid damaging the screen
● To avoid placing the computer nearmagnetic articles (such as the
loudspeaker and television); do not place the disk in the front of or
above the computer to avoid that the materials in the disk may be
lost caused by electromagnetism.
● Please do not place the computer under the sunlight, especially in
the vehicle under the sunlight.
● The computer is not allowed to be placed in rather cold
environment (0 ℃ or below 30 ℉ ), or rather hot environment (50 ℃
or above 122 ℉ ), since these environments can cause the
computer to not start or operate normally. The computer and its
accessories are not allowed to be drenched or exposed in the
moisture.
● Please do not keep the battery near fire or abandon it into the
burning fire, otherwise an explosion may be caused. Please
support recycling waste batteries.
● Using the qualified battery and accessories. Only the battery and
accessories authorized or recommended by the original factory can
be used. It is not allowed to use the products or accessories of

● The computer shall be repaired by professional personnel. It is not
allowed to repair this product by the user and only the qualified
professional personnel can install or repair it.
● Please shutdown the computer when on a plane. Using computer
on a plane will cause interference to the instruments and influence
flight safety. Moreover, it is illegal.
● Please shutdown the computer before cleaning it, and remove the
transformer and the internal battery. The surface of the LCD screen
will absorb dust due to electrostatic and please wipe out the dust (if
any) with soft cloth. It is not allowed to wipe it with higher force;
otherwise the surface of the LCD screen will be left with a fingerp-
rint.
● The protective bag used by Noahpad UMPC must have the buffer-
ing cushion to prevent collision. Further, it is not allowed to put in
excessive articles, otherwise the LCD will be damaged.

Get to know your Noahpad UMPC
Noahpad UMPC is a delicate and portable computer. With its
Noahpad input technology, the computer is able to fit a convenient
human machine interface in a limited space. The two super big
touch pads can easily control the of the cursor and the windows and
once the cursor points at the target in the screen, the function of this
target can be entered just by slightly pressing any position at the
touch pad which is suitable for fingers of any size. The following is
the introduction of the functions of each position at the product.

1. Battery charge indicator/ the light will be on when battery is charging
2. Hard Disk access indicator/ the light will blink when system is reading or writing data

unlock Key
1.Insert the two tenons of the battery into the slot of the host.
2.Then push the battery down into the battery slot.
Install the Battery
Take out the Battery
1. Please turn over the host at first.
2. Push the latch of the battery to unlock and then take out the battery.
Connect to Power
1. Insert one end of the transformer plug into the power jack of the
computer.
2. Insert another end into the power socket.
● Please confirm that the computer is shutdown before replacing
the battery.
● If you want to replace the battery when the computer is being
operated, please confirm that there are other power supplies
(such as AC adapter)
● Please install the battery and connect to power supply before
using this computer.
● Two modes of power supply are available for Noahpad: battery
and power supply.

Shutdown
If you can not shutdown or restart the computer normally with the
above methods, please push the power button until the computer is
shutdown.
Power button
1. Select the power off icon from start menu, to turn off the device.
Urgent Shutdown and Reset
1. Push the power button to start the computer.
2. Graphic program manager desktop will be displayed on the screen.

※Two using methods are available for the touch pad:
※The touch pads are in two using mode:
Touch Press
(Same as to use the touch pad
of the common computer)
(Same as to use the key of the
keyboard)
● Touch the touch pad with finger and slide, the mouse mode will be entered.
● Under keyboard mode , touch the touch pad with finer and slide for a distance of
1-2 cm, and the mode will switched to mouse mode .

Precautions
● The left touch pad is functioned as the 【virtual screen mover】and the right
touch pad is functioned as the 【mouse】.
● Please note that if the light of the mouse is on, it indicates that
CDthe touch pad is in mouse mode .

● Press and then slide the two hands from
inner to outer and the picture can be
zoom in.
● Press and then slide the two hands from
outer to inner and the picture can be
zoomed out. (amplification)
● Press and slide the two hands at the same time clockwise or
anticlockwise and the picture can be rotated in the same direction
with an angle of 90 °!
● Typing mode can be switched through the any of the
following three steps:
1.Quickly press any position of the left touch pad for a short time
( release the button within 0.4 seconds)
2.Quickly press any position of the left touch pad for a short time
( if the position is pressed within 1cm away from the point that
the mouse is ending its sliding, mouse function will still be
executed and the touch pad can not be switched into keyboard
mode )
3.Quickly press any position of the left touch pad for a short time
( if directly press the panel just after the sliding, mouse function
will still be executed and the touch pad can not be switched
into keyboard state)

2. If you want to read the contents at the bottom, please continue
the operation of (1), do not move your fingers and touch the key
of 【A】continuously, and then the picture will roll slowly
downwards.

Move the Screen Information
(screen with a size of 7 inches can provide the information that is
displayed on the screen with a size of 10 inches.)
● Use the key of 【QWAS】on the keyboard to move and browse the
window contents.
● Using method: (example: move the picture to the lower left. Picture I)
1. Press the key of 【Q】and slide to the key of【A】, then it can
be rapidly moved to the window at the lower left of the browser.
