We believe that safe performance is the priority in any consumer product.
We ask that any electrical appliance that you use be operated sensibly with
due care and attention placed on the following important operating
instructions.
Carefully read all instructions before operating the Noble & Price Cordless
Kettle for the first time and save this instruction manual for future
reference.

Safety Instructions
This kettle had been designed to boil drinking water only. Under no
circumstances should this product be used to boil any other liquids or food
items.
Position the kettle on a flat, stable surface away from the edge to avoid
injury or damage to the kettle.
Only use the power base supplied.
Do not immerse the kettle in any liquid.
Avoid coming in contact with steam from the spout or when opening the lid
as scalding can occur.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handle for lifting and carrying the kettle.
Do not place anything on top of the lid or release the lid while the water is
boiling.
Use caution when pouring water from the kettle, as boiling water and steam
will scald. Do not pour the water too quickly.
Do not remove the kettle from the power base during operation. Ensure the
kettle has switched off after the water has boiled or reached the selected
temperature before removing the kettle from the power base.
If the supplied power cord becomes damaged, the kettle should not be used,
and the cord must be replaced.
Ensure the water level is between the MIN and the MAX marks. If the
kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
When using the kettle, avoid spillage of water on the power base and
connector as this may cause damage to the kettle.
Do not use chemicals, stainless steel scourers, abrasive cleaners or alkaline
cleaning agents to clean the kettle. Use a soft cloth and mild detergent.
Ensure the kettle has cooled down before attempting to clean the filter and
kettle body.

Operations
Remove any packaging material before using your kettle for the first
time.
It is recommended before the first use to fill the kettle to the MAX level
with cold tap water, bring it to a boil and then discard the water and
repeat.
The kettle will only operate when positioned on the power base with the
On/Off Switch in the ON position. The kettle will automatically switch
off once the water has boiled.
General Operations
1. Press the Lid Button to open the lid and fill with cold tap water. Do not
exceed the MAX level.
2. Securely close the lid.
3. Plug the power cord into your power outlet.
4. Connect the kettle to the power base.
5. Push the On/Off Switch down. The Power Indicator Light turns ON and
the water will begin to boil.
6. When the water has boiled, the On/Off Switch will flick back up to the
position, and the Power Indicator Light will turn OFF.
Note: The boiling process can be interrupted at any time by manually
flicking up the On/Off Switch.

Warranty
Our appliances come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the
Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a
major failure. Where a failure does not amount to a significant fault, Tomkin
Australia is entitled to choose between providing you with a repair,
replacement or refund.
The manufacturer warrants the Cordless Kettle to be free from defects in
materials for 12 months from the date of purchase.
To claim under this warranty, please contact Tomkin Australia with proof of
purchase.

Dry Boil Protection Shut Off Function
The kettle is fitted with a safety device, which protects against
overheating should the kettle be operated with insufficient water. If this
occurs, the kettle will stop boiling and automatically switch OFF.
Should this occur, switch the kettle OFF at your power outlet and unplug.
Allow the kettle to cool before refilling. Remove the kettle from the power
base and add water. Return the kettle to the power base. The safety device
with automatically reset.
Always turn the kettle off and disconnect the power base from your
power outlet before cleaning.
Use warm water with a mild detergent and a soft cloth to clean the
exterior of the kettle. Do not immerse the kettle in any liquid.
Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
The spout filter slides out for ease of cleaning.
Periodically, clean the inside of the appliance using a mild descaling
solution.
