onN‐0841MC‐DVmodelwaterheaters.Thefollowingpartsaresuppliedintheadapterkit.
Checkforanymissingitemsbeforestartingtheinstallation.Fordetailedinformationregarding

InstallationProcedures
NOTE:Theuseofthispartwillchangetherangeofwallthicknessthattheventterminationcanpass
through.Pleasereviewthechartbelowtoverifythechangesbeforeproceedingwiththeinstallation.


1) Replacetheoriginalventterminationadapterpiecewiththenewfittingthatwasprovidedwiththe
VentTerminationAdapterKitbyreplacingPartBwithPartA.

NOTE:Usecautionwheninsertingthenewadaptertothetermination.Theo‐ringonthefitting
mightgetdamagedifexcessiveforceisused.




2)Drill4holesforinsertingthewallanchorsintothewall.Onceanchorsareinplace,usethe4x16
RoundedScrewsprovidedwiththeVentTerminationKittosecurethesleevetothewall.

NOTE:Donotovertightenthescrewstothewallasitmaycausethesleevetobecomedeformed.Ifthe
partbecomesbentordeformed,pleaseloosenthescrewssothatthesleevesitsflatagainstthewall.


3) Installtheextensionscrewsontotheattachmentsprovidedonthesleeveasshownbelow.Make
surethatthesescrewsaresecurelyfastened.



4) Begintheinstallationofthewallspacertothesleevebydrilling4holesforinsertingwallanchorsas
shownbelow.Proceedinusingthe4x16RoundedScrewsprovidedwiththeVentTermination
AdapterKittosecuretheparttothewall.


5) CompletetheinstallationbyinsertingtheVT4‐TSVentTerminationintothesleeveandattachingitto
thefourextensionscrewsonthewallspacer.Iftheterminationisobstructed,gentlyinsertitwhile
shiftingitbackandforthuntilitisproperlyinplace.Fastenthefourwingnutstotheextension
screwstosecuretheterminationtothewallspacer.
6) ForproceduresonproperlysealingthefittingsontheVentTerminationtotheintakeandexhaust
portsonthewaterheater,pleaserefertotheVT4‐TSInstallationManual.
