INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
»Rinse the Water Magic GRC Pond with garden hose.
»Place and fill the Water Magic GRC Pond with water.
(Tip: If you are using a garden hose to fill your Water Magic
GRC Pond we recommend that you run the hose for a few
minutes to flush the hose of any stagnant water.)
»Let the water sit overnight or use a water
conditioner before adding plants or fish.
»Place plants on the integrated shelf, the round portion
in the middle of the bowl is ideal for a water lily.
»If desired, add a few small fish for colour and movement.
We recommend two or three small goldfish or similar.
»Sit back, relax and enjoy!
MAINTENANCE
The Water Magic Patio Pond is very simple to maintain.
We recommend doing a 15% water change weekly.
»Simply use a bucket or small clean container to remove
the water from the Water Magic Patio Pond.
»Top the planter with de-chlorinated tap water. If a garden
hose is used, please run the hose for a few minutes to clear
the water that has been left stagnant in the hose.
»Try not to disturb the plants or fish by aggressively filling the bowl.
»Slowly and gently top off the water.
Please note: topping off the Water Magic GRC Pond due
to evaporation does not count as a water change.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Feed the pump plug and cable through the PVC pipe
in the base of the fountain reservoir, and pull the
cable through out the notch underneath.
2. Place the plastic cover on the end of the PVC Pipe.
3. Fasten the hose to the pump, then sit the pump in
the base of the water reservoir.
4. Sit the upright section of the fountain on top of the
water reservoir, covering the pump from view. Then
t the top piece into place.
5. Fill the water reservoir with clean water and ensure
pump is fully submerged.
6. Plug the pump in to an electricity outlet and switch
on to start pump.
7. Setup is now complete. Enjoy!
WARNING
DO NOT allow the pump to run dry! Allowing it to run dry
may result in the pump burning out, voiding the warranty.

»Always ensure the pump is fully submersed when in use.
»Never allow the pump to run dry, as this will cause damage and invalidate the warranty.
»Change and top-up the water on a regular basis.
»If fountain is not in use for an extended period of time, unplug the pump, and drain the fountain completely.
»Always disconnect from power before cleaning and maintaining the pump.
»If in doubt about any electrical connections, please consult a qualified electrician.
WInter care
During winter, never allow ice to form in the fountain, as it may cause damage.
Drain the fountain and store away from freezing temperatures and protect from frost.
cleanIng the PuMP
To clean the pump, first disconnect it from the power supply and remove it from the water feature, then:
a) Remove the inlet cover from the front of the pump, and gently grip the impeller to pull out
the rotor assembly.
b) Clean the rotor and rotor housing with water, then dry with paper towel.
c) Reassemble the parts and store the pump in a dry area.
troubleshootIng
If water doesn’t flow evenly over the fountain:
a) Ensure the water feature is sitting on level ground to ensure even water flow.
b) Insert the small plastic ‘wedges’ included with your fountain as required between sections/
joins of the fountain to make the neccessary adjustments to promote even water flow.
If the pump fails to operate, check the following:
a) Check that power is correctly connected, and that there is sufficient water in the reservoir.
b) Check the pump and tubing for any obstructions.
c) Remove the cover with the flow adjuster on it, and gently lever off the inner cover to reveal
the pump impeller. Gently turn the rotor to check that it is not broken or jammed.
If the pump runs with slower water circulation, check the following:
a) The flow control on the body of the pump.
b) Ensure the pump is completely submersed.
If any abnormal sound is heard during pump operation, turn off the power supply and check the rotor
assembly as follows:
a) Remove the pump cover and rotor plate from the front.
b) Grip the impeller and gently take out the rotor assembly.
c) Rinse the rotor assembly and housing with clean water in order to remove any debris.
d) If any breakage or surface damage is found on the rotor assembly, please contact your supplier.

Over time the finish may gradually mellow in colour, this is part of the natural weathering process.
