Installation Guide

Thank you for buying a NorthQ product. Our devices gives you and
your family the opportunity to experience a new way of living.
This user manual helps you to get Danfoss Living Connect
installed. The installation can be performed using PC, Tablet or
Smart Phone.
In order to use the Danfoss Living Connect with HomeManager
you need to have a NorthQ gateway (Q-Stick, Q-Gate or Q-Gate
Pro).

Danfoss Living Connect Installation
The Danfoss Living Connect is electronic radiator thermostat
which enables you to control your heating remotely through
your HomeManager account.

Go to HomeManager menu
Select Install

Click on Next

Twist the battery compartment upwards
Insert the batteries
Press the middle button once

Remove the old thermostat
Attach the adapter for the new thermostat
If it is a type RA thermostat, you will find a small screw on
the side - loosen it with the Allen key (included in the box) to
remove the thermostat.
If it is a type K thermostat, remove it by firmly twisting the
innermost part (close to the pipe) counter-clockwise.
In case of installation problems (e.g. very old heater valve)
you need to buy the Danfoss adapter valve kit.

Tighten the adapter for the new thermostat
On the RA type, tighten the small screw.
The K type adapter is tightened onto the valve by hand.

Press and hold the button until the thermostat display stops
flashing the “M” sign.
Mount the thermostat on the radiator
Press and hold the middle button
You have just finished the mechanical installation of the
thermostat. If in doubt check the Danfoss manual.

Click on Finish
Check if Danfoss Living Connect is found
To create a room, click here
Assign the thermostat to a room

WELL DONE!
You have finished installing your Danfoss Living Connect. Your
HomeManager account should now be receiving data from it.
Remember that you can see the set point change within 5 min
or after you press any button on the Danfoss Living Connect.
Please note that you can’t install more than 16 thermostats
and create more than 9 rooms.
If not, check FAQ section on northq.com
As one or more thermostats will heat up one room you have to
assign each thermostat to the room you want to control.
