360O ROTATIONAL BASE
The 360o rotational non-slip base, conveniently allows the kettle to stay
securely in position while also enables user to easily pick up or set
down the cordless kettle from any angle, for total ease of usage.

CORDLESS DESIGN
With your convenience in mind, the power cord is attached to a
separate power base, while the kettle is designed cordless so that user
will not be restricted by the length of the cord when refilling/pouring
for easier handling.

USING THE WATER KETTLE NK3

Setting Up
Operating Notes
Step 01
Remove the water kettle from the packaging materials. Check to ensure there is no foreign object inside the
kettle. Proceed to clean the kettle thoroughly.
Step 02
Before using the kettle for the first time (or after a long period of storage), fill the kettle with water to the MAX
water level indicator.
Step 01
Place the kettle on a stable and level surface.
Step 02
To fill the kettle, remove it from the power base and push the lid release button to open the lid. Fill with
desired amount of water and close the lid.
Step 03
Alternatively, the kettle may be filled through the spout. The water level should not exceed MAX water level
indicator or sit below MIN water level indicator.
Step 04
Position the kettle onto the power base.
Step 05
Connect the power plug into a power supply. Press down the On/Off switch and the indicator will illuminate in
blue.
Step 06
Kettle will begin the boiling process, and once the water has been boiled, the On/Off switch will be lifted and
unit will be switched off automatically.
Step 07
User can shut off the power by lifting the On/Off switch at any moment during boiling process.
Step 08
If user wants to boil water again, simply press the On/Off switch once again, to re-commence the boiling
process.
Step 03
Switch on the kettle as described under “Operating Notes”. Allow the water to boil.
Step 04
Pour and discard the water once it has boiled.
Step 05
Repeat step 02 to 04 twice. The kettle is now ready for usage.
• Position the lid so that steam is directed away from the handle/user.
• Too little water will result the kettle to switch off before the water boils.
• DO NOT fill the water over the MAX water level indicator, as water may spill out from spout during boiling. Ensure
that the lid is firmly in place before plugging the power outlet.
• The maximum volume capacity of water kettle is 0.8 litre.
• Ensure that the On/Off switch is free from obstructions and the lid is firmly closed.

Dry Boiling Protection
General Cleaning
Removal Of Mineral Deposit
It is recommended to clean and maintain the water kettle NK3 at least once a week.
In the event if user accidentally activate the kettle’s boiling process without water, the dry-boiling
protection will automatically switch off the power. If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool before re-filling
with cold water for boiling again.
Step 01
Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply and cool it down completely before performing
cleaning and maintenance.
Step 01
Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar, then add appropriate volume of water to cover the bottom of kettle
completely. Leave the solution to stand in the kettle overnight.
Step 02
Discard the white vinegar solution in the kettle, then fill the kettle with clean water, boil and discard the
water.
Step 03
Repeat step 02 until the odour of vinegar has been flushed away.
Step 04
Any stains remaining inside the spout can be removed by rubbing with a damp cloth.
Step 02
Never immerse the kettle, power cord or power base in water, or allow moisture to contact with these
components to prevent damage.
Step 03
Wipe the body with a damp cloth or cleaner.
• Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the exterior of the kettle to prevent causing
cosmetic/finishing imperfections.
• DO NOT use a harsh/aggressive cleaner.
It is recommended to perform mineral deposit removal at the bottom of the kettle’s interior, at least once
a month to ensure unit’s optimal operation efficiency.
Step 09
Lift up the kettle from the power base, and dispense the water.
Step 10
When not in use/for storage, the power cord can be wound up and stored at the bottom of the kettle.
• Please be careful when dispensing the water from your kettle as boiling water may result in scalding.
• DO NOT remove the lid while the water is boiling.
• Position the lid so that its steam is directed away from the handle/user.
• The kettle will not re-boil until user pressed the On/Off switch.
• Always disconnect the power supply when not use.
•The heating element surface is subjected to residual heat after use.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the operating instructions manual carefully before using the water kettle and keep them for later
reference.
Persons who are not familiar with the operating instructions, as well as children and persons under the
influence of medication, alcohol or drugs are not advised to operate the water kettle, or are only advised
to operate it under supervision.
Always ensure that there is sufficient water in the water kettle before operation.
DO NOT operate the kettle when there is no water, to avoid damaging the heating elements.
Refrain from overloading the power supply with multiple power plugs.
Before connecting the kettle to the power supply, check that the voltage indicated on the
appliance (underside the kettle & base) corresponds with the voltage in your home.
DO NOT let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch a hot surface.
DO NOT place the kettle on/near a hot gas, electric burner or in a heated oven.
Ensure that the kettle is used on a firm and flat surface out of reach of children to prevent the
kettle from overturning and avoid damage or injury.
To protect against a fire, electric shock or personal injury, do not immerse the power cord, power
plugs or kettle in water or other liquids.
While water is boiling, or just after the water has been boiled, avoid contacting with steam from
the spout.
Always be careful when dispensing the boiling water from the kettle. Please do it slowly and
cautiously without tipping the kettle too fast.
Please be careful during refilling when the kettle is still hot.
DO NOT touch the hot surface of the kettle.
The power base can only be used for its intended purpose and cannot be misused for other purposes.
Please exercise extreme caution, when transporting the kettle containing the hot water.
DO NOT allow children the tamper the water kettle.
The kettle is for domestic household or similar applications only, not for outdoor application.
Unauthorize usage of accessories with the water kettle may result in fire, electric shock or
personal injury.
Unplug the kettle from the power supply when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the kettle to
cool before attaching or taking off any parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
To disconnect, lift up the On/Off switch first prior to removing the power plug from the power supply.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by authorized service technician only to avoid
hazard.
The water kettle can only be used for its intended application in both domestic household and commercial
residential. It cannot be misused for other purposes.
In the event if the kettle is over-filled with water, boiling water may spill out from its spout, during the
boiling process.
Always ensure the lid is closed and DO NOT lift it when the water is boiling to prevent scaling.
Avoid water spillage on the base connector.

Time and convenience might not always be in the advantage of customers, hence, for a nominal fee
of S$12 one-way and S$24 two-ways, customer can choose to use our delivery service instead of
bringing in the product themselves.
Optional Loan Set*
Knowing how inconvenient it can get when your product is sent for servicing or repair, novita lends
a hand by offering you a temporary loan set at no charge.
* Please note that this service is upon request and subjected to the availability of the product.
Temporary loan set might be of a different model from original set brought in for repair.

registration process to make it hassle-free. You no longer have to make a trip to the post office or
worry about losing your warranty card.

website and register your product warranty online at the comfort of your home or office.
E-warranty registration is only applicable to customers in Singapore and stated countries who have
purchased novita product(s) from our authorised retailers or dealers. Please register your product’s
warranty within 14 days from the date of original purchase. Upon successful registration, an
acknowledgement email will be sent to you. By submitting your e-warranty application, you have
agreed to all the terms and conditions stated for this warranty.

LIMITED WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS
Unless otherwise specified, this limited warranty is valid for Product installed and purchased in
Singapore and stated countries for the period of 12 months on all parts commencing from the date of
original purchase and does not include installation, removal and reinstallation.
This product and all parts thereof are hereby guaranteed to the purchaser/user to be free from defects in
material and workmanship.
Please retain the original purchase receipt for verification purposes when required. To be eligible for
limited warranty coverage, Product has to be registered by the original end-user purchaser/user within 7
days from the date of purchase at novita.com.sg/ewarranty.
This limited warranty is not transferable and shall not extend to anyone other than the original
purchaser/user of this Product and does not include cleaning of the Product during the specific period.
Eligibility for limited warranty coverage is limited to repair, or replacement of any parts (excluding
consumable parts and accessories exhausted through usage that may be packaged or sold together from
the Product) which proves to be manufacturing defects within the applicable limited warranty period.
Limited warranty coverage does not extend to damages and/or defects resulting from:
a. Accidents, abuse, misuse, improper installation, or any manner of tampering.
b. Usage of wrong electrical supply/voltage.
c. Usage not in accordance with the operation instructions, maintenance and environmental instructions
that are covered and prescribed in the operating instructions manual.
d. Any unauthorized repairs.
e. Any alteration or modification made to the Product.
f. Exterior finish or cosmetic damage.
g. Normal usage wear and tear, finishes or consumables.
h. Corrosion, rusting or stains.
i. Improper transportation, inappropriate storage conditions or materials, improper ventilation,
reconfiguration of the Product.
j. Operating the Product in an unattended manner.
k.Lacking of periodically Product servicing and preventative maintenance.
l. Losses, damages, defects and malfunctions caused by fire or acts of God.
This limited warranty does not apply/cover for:
a. Parts requiring replacement due to normal wear and tear, corrosion or stain.
b. Damage due to usage of other incompatibility equipment/solutions/accessories being used in
conjunction with the covered Product.
c. Transportation, delivery and incidental cost incurred in fulfilment of this limited warranty. The
purchaser/user shall be fully responsible for the due delivery of the Product for any repair work to
novita and for the subsequent collection. Any Product to be repaired must be sent to the service centre
directly. No outdoor servicing will be provided. novita can provide collection and return service and a
transportation fee of S$24 is applicable.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, novita shall not be in any way liable for any incidental or
consequential, direct, indirect damages whatsoever caused by the breach of any express, implied or
statutory warranty or condition. Except to the extend prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty
or condition of merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the duration of
the above limited warranty. novita disclaims all other warranties, conditions or representations, express,
implied, statutory or otherwise. novita shall not be liable for any damages of any kind resulting from the
purchase, use or misuse of, or inability to use the product including incidental, special, consequential or
similar damages or loss of revenue or profits, failure to realize savings or other benefits, or for any
breach of contract, fundamental or otherwise, or for any claim brought against purchaser/user by any
other party, regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, and even if novita has been
advised of the possibility of such damages.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the purchaser/user assumes all risk and liability for loss,
damage or injury to the purchaser/user and their property and to any third parties and their property
arising out of the use, misuse, lack of periodic servicing and proper maintenance or inability usage of the
novita Product.
This limited warranty will be invalidated and rendered void upon the usage of any non-original
filters/parts/accessories that is not approved by novita for the use with the product.

This limited warranty is void if the serial number on the Product had been removed, erased, defaced,
altered, tampered or is illegible.
novita will repair or replace this product at their option and at no charge with new or reconditioned parts
or Product if found to be defective during the limited warranty period specified above. novita does not
warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the product. All replaced Product or part, or fully
refunded Product, shall become the absolute property of novita and must be returned to novita.
Replacement parts and Products assume the remaining original limited warranty.
In the event that the Product is out of stock, obsolete or beyond repair, novita reserves all rights to replace
the Product with another similar value as deem appropriate, subject to availability. In no event shall any
recovery against novita exceed the actual price paid for the purchase of the Product.
novita reserves all rights to impose charges for services on the Product which are outside the perimeter of
limited warranty coverage. novita also reserve the right to decline Product servicing
where the Product is obsolete, no longer deemed serviceable or replaceable for any reason.
If any section, provision, clause, sentence or part thereof of this limited warranty is held to be void, invalid
or unenforceable, it shall be modified necessarily to make it valid and enforceable, and it shall not in any
way be affected or impaired thereby.
novita shall reserve the right to modify or change the terms and conditions herein due to change(s) in
availability of Products and/or spare parts or for the purposes of complying with applicable policies, rules,
regulations and law, without prior notice.
With the proceeding of the Product usage, it means the purchaser/user have read, understood and agreed
on the novita’s Product usage and limited warranty terms and conditions and also acknowledged that
novita’s limitations of liability are reasonable and within the context and circumstances under which it is
applied on.
