redefines the nursery. Nurseryworks’ products
are designed with both style and functionality
in mind, and we hope it becomes a source of
pleasure for you and your family. Quality material,
workmanship and pride have gone into these
products. Proper assembly is important to
ensure a safe and comfortable end result for
your baby. Please read all instructions before
assembly, and keep instructions for future use.

The Product and Manufacturing Process:
Nurseryworks products are madefrom sustainable
woods wherever possible and also from high-
quality wood veneers. The primary material
used in our products is Paulownia wood
which is harvested from plantations and
renewed every 10-12 years. Zero-grade MDF,
containing well below the regulated limit of
formaldehyde, is used sparingly in components
of our products to achieve our signature
carvings and single board slat cutouts. All
paints, finishes and glues are low-VOC. Our
products are tested on a frequent basis to
ensure that all coatings and finishes comply
with U.S. and Canadian metals requirements.
Each Nurseryworks product is a unique piece
crafted largely by hand. We use a specialized
machinery process to create our hallmark
carvings and each piece is constructed and
lacquered by hand. Our lacquering process
involves over a dozen steps to sand and
polish the furniture to achieve our glossy
finish. With proper care and assembly, your
Nurseryworks products will be a part of your
family for years to come. Please note that
due to the handcrafted nature of our products
and our use of solid woods, each piece is
unique and may contain irregular qualities,
such as natural markings, miniscule burrs, or
slight discolorations.These natural characteristics
are inherent in wood, are not considered
manufacturing defects and do not merit
replacements.

Maintenance and Cleaning:
Important Note:
To preserve the hand crafted quality of
Nurseryworks furniture, we recommend using
a cotton cloth and a non-toxic cleaner. Periodic
polishing or oiling on furniture pieces that
have a stain finish will help to maintain the
rich wood tones. Each Nurseryworks item is a
unique piece, made of White Pine, Paulownia
Wood and with rich and high quality wood
veneers. Because these pieces are made of
real wood and real wood veneers, there will
occasionally be natural markings, miniscule
burrs, or slight discolorations. These natural
characteristics are inherent in wood and are
not considered defects by Nurseryworks.
Because of this the merchandise will be considered
normal and of good quality and will not be
replaced because of these naturalcharacteristics.

WARNING:
Parents should ensure a safe environment for
the child by checking regularly, before placing
the child in the product, that every component
is properly and securely in place.
• Infants can suffocate on soft bedding. Never add a
pillow or comforter. Never place additional padding
under an infant.
• To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend
healthy infants be placed on their backs to sleep, unless
otherwise advised by your physician.
• Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items
with a string around a child’s neck, such as hood strings
or pacifier cords. Do not suspend strings over a crib or
attach strings to toys.
• To help prevent strangulation tighten all fasteners. A
child can trap parts of the body or clothing on loose
fasteners.
• DO NOTplace a crib near a window where cords from
blinds or drapes may strangle a child.
• When a child is able to pull to a standing position, set
the mattress to the lowest position and remove bumper
pads, large toys and other objects that could serve as
steps for climbing out.
• Stop using crib when child begins to climb out or
reaches the height of 35 in. (89cm).
• Check this product for damaged hardware, loose
joints, loose bolts or other fasteners, missing parts or sharp
edges before and after assembly and frequently during
use. Securely tighten loose bolts and other fasteners. DO
NOT use crib if any parts are missing, damaged or
broken. Contact Nurseryworks for replacement parts
and instructional literature if needed. DO NOTsubstitute
parts.
• DO NOT use a water mattress with this crib.
• For cribs equipped with teething rails, replace teething
rail if damaged, cracked or loose.

• If refinishing, use a non-toxic finish specified for
children’s products.
• Never use plastic shipping bags or other plastic films
as mattress covers because they can cause suffocation.
• Infants can suffocate in gaps between crib sides
when used with a mattress that is too small.
• Follow warnings on all products in a crib.
Please do NOT remove any wood screws in the normal
disassembly of the crib.

Be sure you follow the instructions in the order that they appear.
To avoid possible scratching, assemble furniture on a soft surface.
For instance on a carpet or blanket.
Be aware that you can use both ends of the Allen wrench.
For instance, use it lengthwise to get into tighter corners.
Be careful not to over tighten screws.

Assembly Instructions
Step 1

Identify the correct Crib End by standing in front
of the Crib, and matching the Crib End with the
hardware on it that has holes which correspond
with the pre-installed nuts on the Crib Slat Panel .
Insert the nuts into the holes and lock both Crib
Ends into place.

Step 2
Identify the four Brackets C. Determine if you want the
mattress board at the highest level , or at the middle
level , or at the lowest level . Then insert two of
Screw B into Bracket C, through the corresponding
holes as drawing illustrates. Then tighten with Wrench
D.

Step 3
Attach the second Crib Slat by matching the Crib
End with the hardware on it that has holes which
correspond with the pre-installed nuts on the Crib
Slat . Insert the nuts into the holes and lock both
Crib Ends into place.

Step 4
Identify the Mattress Board . Take the mattress
board and place on top of Bracket C, matching
up the pre-drilled screw holes. Insert Screw Ainto
the hole, connecting the Bracket C and tighten
Screw A with Wrench D. This should be done on all
four brackets.

Le produit et sa fabrication :
Les produits Nurseryworks sont fabriqués avec le
bois le plus solide qui soit et des placages de qualité
supérieure. Le matériau primaire utilisé dans nos
produits est le bois Paulownia qui est récolté des
plantations et renouvelé tous les 10 à 12 ans. Un
MDF de classe zéro, contenant un taux de
formaldéhyde largement inférieur à la limite
réglementaire, est utilisé de façon restreinte dans
les composantes de nos produits afin de réaliser la
particularité de notre décor et les finitions de nos
planchettes. Nos peintures, enduits et adhésifs sont
tous à faible COV. Nos produits sont régulièrement
testés afin d’assurer que tous les revêtements et
finitions sont conformes aux normes américaines
et canadiennes sur les métaux.
Chaque produit Nurseryworks est une pièce
unique confectionnée en grande partie à la
main. Nous utilisons un procédé mécanique de
pointe dans la création de nos décors de qualité
et chaque pièce est construite et vernie à la main.
Notre procédé de vernissage comprend une
douzaine d’étapes de ponçage et de polissage
du bois pour aboutir à la brillance de notre finition.
Un soin et un assemblage appropriés feront des
produits Nurseryworks un membre de votre famille

à la main et nous utilisons du bois massif. Par
conséquent, chaque pièce est unique en soi et

fabriquée à base de Pin blanc, de bois
Paulownia et de placages de qualité
supérieure. Puisque ces produits sont fabriqués
de bois et de placage naturels, occasionnellement,
on pourrait avoir des marquages naturels, de
minuscules bavures et des petites altérations
de couleurs. Ces caractéristiques sont inhérentes
au bois et ne constituent pas des défauts
selon Nurseryworks. De ce fait, la marchandise
est considérée comme normale et de bonne
qualité et ne sera pas remplacée. Des trousses

AVERTISSEMENT :
Avant de placer l’enfant dans le produit, les
parents doivent s’assurer que l’environnement
dans lequel il se trouvera est sécuritaire en
procédant à une vérification régulière de la
bonne installation de chaque composant.
• Les nouveaux-nés peuvent suffoquer sur une literie
souple. Ne jamais ajouter d’oreiller, d'édredon ou de
rembourrage additionnel sous un bébé.
•Pour réduire les risques de SMSN,les pédiatres recommandent
de placer les nouveaux-nés en bonne santé sur le dos
pendant le sommeil à moins d'avis contraire de votre
médecin.
• Les cordons peuvent causer une strangulation! Ne pas
placer un objet contenant des cordons, comme des
attaches de capuchons ou de suces, autour du cou
d’un enfant. Ne pas suspendre de ficelles au-dessus du lit
ou fixer des ficelles aux jouets.
• Afin de prévenir toute strangulation, bien serrer toutes
les pièces d’attaches. Les vêtements ou l’enfant pourraient
se retrouver coincés par des pièces d’attaches lâches.
• NE PAS placer un lit devant une fenêtre dont les
cordons des stores ou rideaux pourraient étrangler un
enfant.
• Lorsqu’un enfant est capable de se tenir debout,
mettre le matelas à sa position la plus basse et retirer la
bordure de protection, les grands jouets ou tout autre
objet dont l’enfant pourrait se servir pour grimper hors du
lit.
• Lorsqu’un enfant est capable de sortir du lit ou atteint
la taille de 35 pouces (89 cm), il faut cesser d'utiliser le lit
de bébé.
• Procéder à une vérification du produit pour la
recherche de matériel endommagé, jointures lâches,
pièces manquantes ou bords coupants avant et après
l’assemblage et fréquemment pendant l’utilisation. Ne
pas utiliser le lit si des pièces sont manquantes, endommagées
