ageLOC®Edition Nu Skin Galvanic Spa System®II

■ Important warning information

►Before you begin, please read the following important warnings:

1.Always inspect your spa instrument and conductor heads before use. Ensure there are no rough or defective surfaces, sharp edges or bubbling. If

you notice any abnormalities, do not use the instrument and contact your local Nu Skin ofce. Store in a dry place at room temperature, at minimum

4°C to avoid the possibility of a blister forming.

2.This cosmetic device may not be suitable for all ages or skin types. The ageLOC®Edition Nu Skin Galvanic Spa System®II instrument is only for use on

healthy skin. Do not use over any rash, broken capillaries or on inamed or open sores or wounds. Do not use if you are prone to rosacea, have

allergies to metal or if you have problematic or overly sensitive skin. Check with your physician before using the Nu Skin Galvanic Spa System®II

instrument if you have extra sensitive skin, skin conditions, are pregnant, have a pacemaker, are epileptic, wear metal braces on your teeth, have a

metal implant or in case of illness.

3. Do not apply directly to the lips, eyes or eyelids. The instrument and products are for external use only. If redness or abnormal irritation occurs,

discontinue use immediately. Keep out of reach of children.

4. New Nu Skin Galvanic Spa System®II users and those with sensitive or allergy-prone skin should always test on a small area of skin before using

the product as directed.

5. Use product only for its intended use as described in the Owner’s Manual. Do not use longer than the recommended times or frequencies listed in

this Quick Start Guide.

6. Remove all protective lms before beginning.

7. To reduce the risk of shock, burn, re or injury: Do not immerse instrument in water. Do not place or store instrument where it can fall or be pulled

into a tub, sink or toilet. Never operate the instrument if it has been damaged. Do not use the instrument in any way not described in the Owner's

Manual.

8. When removing a conductor, do not pinch or hold the middle of the conductor, as this may prevent the release mechanism from working. Hold onto

the sides instead.

9. This Quick Start Guide is not intended to provide you with all the information necessary to operate your instrument or

perform an application. Please read through your Owner’s Manual located on the CD-ROM that came with your instrument or available on the Ofce

Library in its entirety prior to using your Nu Skin Galvanic Spa System®II instrument or accompanying products.

(14) During application “2” (Nu Skin Galvanic Spa System®II Facial Treatment Gel), ageLOC® rings appear at the upper right of the application

number.

(15) When the batteries are low, each time the instrument is turned on, a “0” will appear in the middle of the display that will ash four times until

the batteries are replaced.

►The application number that appears in the display corresponds to each product as follows:

* Other products than those listed in this chart are not compatible with the ageLOC®Edition Nu Skin Galvanic Spa System®II.

** New Nu Skin Galvanic Spa System®II users should first test for irritancy on a small unnoticeable area of their skin and those with sensitive skin may need to

apply for a shorter amount of time.

*** 5 minutes is the recommended application time for the entire face/body, you may not need the full 5 minutes depending on the size of the area being

applied. Exercise caution when using on delicate areas (such as the eye area where recommended time is 1-2 minutes).

Do not use longer than the recommended times or frequencies listed above. Please note that products designed for

use with your ageLOC® Edition Nu Skin Galvanic Spa System® II instrument are sold separately.

► How to use your ageLOC® Edition Nu Skin Galvanic Spa System® II instrument

1. Attach a conductor:

Make sure the plastic lm is removed from both the front and back of the Nu Skin Galvanic Spa System®II instrument or the application will not work.

Hold the instrument with the display side up and the conductor with the positioning indicator (small etch) facing you. Press rmly to snap the conductor

into place.

2. Apply product:

Snip off the tip of the Facial Pre-Treat Gel and squeeze the entire

contents of the vial onto your hand. Smooth over face and neck.

Do not rub in. Repeat process for Facial Treatment Gel.

Smooth a generous amount of product over one target area at a

time (e.g. eye area, forehead, nose or around mouth). Do not rub in.

time (e.g. arms, legs, thighs or buttocks). Do not rub in.

After activating the product*, apply evenly by squeezing the

applicator, allowing a few drops at a time to ow onto the scalp

until the whole vial is emptied.

3. Application selection:

Press the selection button once to turn on the instrument. The application number appears in the middle of the display and application time appears

below the application number. Press the selection button as many times as needed until you get to your desired application number.

4. Performing a application:

Hold the instrument with a moistened hand, with your ngers making full contact with the chrome panel and press the

conductor head against your face, scalp or body. The instrument will beep 1, 2 or 3 times indicating that it has self-adjusted to your skin. Begin lightly

massaging only where the product has been applied. The instrument beeps every 10 seconds to

indicate that the unit is on and working. Once application time reaches 30 seconds remaining, it will beep every 5 seconds until application is complete.

Remember to keep the instrument in constant contact with your skin (or scalp). Any lifting will break the galvanic current and interrupt the application.

In this case, the backlight will ash on and off and the instrument will stop beeping until the circuit is re-established. For external use only. Avoid direct

contact with the eye area, lips and mouth.

Please note that the Nu Skin Galvanic Spa System®II Facial Gels are a two-step application process. After following the

above steps for the Facial Pre-Treat Gel, remove excess gel and repeat steps 2-4 for the Facial Treatment Gel.

5. Completing a application:

At the end of your application, you will hear the “application complete” sound and the clock and number of minutes will disappear from the display. Turn off

the instrument by pressing the selection button several times until the display is blank. For the

Facial Gels or Body Shaping Gel, remove any remaining product from your skin with a clean damp cloth. For Tru Face®

Line Corrector or Nutriol®, rub the remaining product in as these are both leave-on products. Release the conductor by rmly pressing the release button

and gently pulling the conductor off the instrument. Clean the instrument and conductor with a damp cloth.Store the Nu Skin Galvanic Spa System®II instru-

ment in a dry place without a conductor on the instrument.
