Odyssey Model SCI-650
Solar Cell Input Adapter for CP650
(Note: Also works with CP500, USL JSD-80, and DTS XD10P)
The SCI-650 is a breakout adapter card that provides terminal connectors that will accept
stripped wires from the optical solar cell.
Plug the SCI-650 onto the DB9 Optical Input 1 connector. For two-projector systems,
you will need another SCI-650 card for Optical Input 2.
When terminating wires to the SCI-650 do not cross the Left and Right plus, minus or
shield (ground) wires.
There are terminals provided for the bipolar power supply (see the CP650 Installation
Manual). These terminals supply backup DC voltage for optical preamplifiers in the event the
CP650 switches to bypass operation during a show.

Warranty Information
Equipment manufactured by Odyssey Products is warranted against defects in
materials and workmanship for a one-year period from the date of shipment. There
are no other express or implied warranties.
Returns
During the warranty period, Odyssey will repair or replace, at its option, components
which prove defective. Equipment must be returned shipped prepaid to Odyssey.
Defects caused by modifications, misuse or accidents or shipping damage caused
by inadequate packaging for service return are not covered by this warranty. A
Return Authorization Number must be obtained from Odyssey or its agents prior to
returning any products. The Return Authorization Number must be marked on all
paperwork and labels
