2.1 Work safety
INSTALLATION PREPARATION
!
Important note: Avoid hard elements on clothing such as belt
buckles, rivets, protruding zippers, etc.
These could cause scratches or damage to the frames when
handling door and window elements.
During assembly, please wear suitable clothing and the required
protective equipment, e. g. shoes with reinforced caps. Climbing
aids or ladders will be needed. At least two fitters are required to
set up the cabin. safely.

the fan, the filter must be replaced.
This diode can be seen underneath

inside and outside every 40 operating

When installing two or more cabins next to each other a mininum
distance of 5 cm between the cabins has to be maintained.

The bricks must not be pushed when lying on the visible sides,
otherwise scratches may occur. Also make sure that the bricks do
not tip over to avoid damage.

Before assembly, sort all parts in the order of assembly. Divide
the components into the rows A-B-C-D, floor elements and
ceiling elements. This preparation will help you to ensure quick
and smooth assembly. When removing the parts from the
packaging, make sure that all parts are intact and complete.

2.4 Sorting the parts
Complaints regarding damaged or missing parts must be made
before assembly! Please ensure that the bricks do not tip over to
avoid damage.

The electric brick and the fan must not be carried on the power
cable.

Do not place the inside of the ceiling panel on the floor. The
motion detector positioned there is protruding, it could be
damaged.

The motion detector must
not be damaged!

3. Setting up the cabin
3.1 Scruing the floor plate with wooden wedges
When positioning the floor plate make sure that the floor is not
sloping

The floor plate has to be secured with the wooden wedges to
prevent it from roling away.

The OFFICEBRICKS cabin can simply be stuck together, and is not
glued or screwed.

4 Installation of walls and door
4.1 Instruction for brick connection
The brick construction consists of a tongue and groove system
with additional connecting elements. The bricks are to be slid
together from above as shown in the illustration. Depending on
the flooring at the installation site and the levelness or uneven-
ness of the floor, slightly uneven gaps may occur. This does not
constitute a defect.
Push the bricks together from top to bottom.

Each brick is marked with a sticker on the top. It should always be read
from the inside of the cabin.
Make sure that the bricks are straight and not askew in the connector system.

Start by setting the bricks on the rear and right side (A4, A5, A6).
4.2 Row A, glass door
The door must be carried by two people for safety reasons.
!
Important note: Avoid hard elements on clothing such as belt

The door is secured by adhesive safety-strips attached to the
door frame. Do not remove the adhesive strips until level D has
been installed, otherwise additional securing of the door is
required.
!
CAUTION - THE DOOR CAN TIPP OVER IF NOT SECURED. IT HAS TO BE
HELD BY ONE FITTER:
1. Remove the protective foil from the glass door.
2. Two fitters are needed to position the door into the notch on the floor
plate. The correct position is in the middle of the front side.
3. Place Brick A1 and A5 on the right and left side of the door. Push the bricks
onto the black connecting clips which are on the side of the door frame. Push
the bricks from above into their correct position. Do not remove the adhesive
tape which secures the door and prevents it from opening.

The door must not be opened (unless additionally secured) until
the brick row D has been installed, as the weight of the open door
can cause the cabin to tilt.

4.3 Installing the brakes
The Mobile Unit may only be used with the brakes locked. The
parking brakes are mounted with screws. As soon as the unit is
placed at the intended location, both parking brakes must be
applied. Before the Mobile Unit is moved again, both brake levers
must be released.

The floor consits of several layers, a wood fibre layer for insula-
tion and a white 16 mm chipboard panel which serves as carrier
plate for the carpet.

4.4 Wood fibre and floor plate
First, insert the wood fibre foor plate and secondly the 16 mm chipboard panel
onto which the carpet will be layed (adhesive tape on top).

Note: This is how you to determine which part of a door or window is the top
part and which is the bottom part: At the top the tongue part is located, at the
bottom part there is the groove.

4.5 Rows B, C, D and tray fold
Now insert brick row B. Start with Brick B6 on the front right next to the door
and continue counter-clockwise as shown in the illustrations.
Next install brick row C. Start with Brick C11 and continue clockwise as shown in
the illustrations. Make sure that the power cable is correctly positioned.

Use a ladder or climbing aid to mount level D. This must stand
safely and must not wobble!
The last brick row is D. Start with brick D16 at the front right side of the door and
continue counterclockwise as shown in the picture. Make sure that the power
cable is correctly positioned.
Check that the door is aligned with the upper brick row. If you notice any
misalignment, the door position must be corrected. You can correct the
door position as described in the illustrations on the following page using the
2 x wooden strips as well as the hammer and an additional board. After the
door frame has been aligned the gap under the door has to be filled with small
platelets (1,5mmbis 3mm).
Please note that the wooden strip which is used as a lever (according to pic. 1)
has to be positioned directly below the vertical parts of the frame. The platelet
has to be inserted under the frame from the inside. (pic. 2). Check both the right
and the left part of the frame.
