2 - OVERVIEW
The Maestro Wi-Fi Kit allows the unit to which it is connected, to be controlled
by an Android phone or iPhone app.
This manual provides all the information needed to connect the Maestro unit
to the locally provided WiFi, allowing easy access from anywhere in the word.

sure to read this manual and comply with the instructions contained within.
The manual must be considered an integral part of the installation and use of
the unit.
This manual should be stored in a safe place and should always be provided
to the end user even if the unit is transfered to another user or moved to a
new location. If the manual is either damaged or lost, please request another

• TheMaestroWi-Fikitmustbeinstalledinaunitlocatednear
enoughtothewirelessroutertoensureastrongsignal.
The Maestro app may disconnect if the Wi-Fi signal is too
weak.
• In order to use the Wi-Fi card, the user’s smartphone must
beabletocommunicateviaBluetooth,Wi-Fiordatanetwork
connectionbasedonitslocationinrelationtotheunit.
• The quality of the connection to a wireless network may be
affectedbythepresenceofelectromagneticinterference.
• Thesimultaneoususeofthisequipmentincloseproximityof
otherradiofrequencydevices,cancompromisethequalityofthe
signalbeingtransmittedorreceiveduntilthatcommunicationis
interrupted.
• Thisdeviceusesanon-harmonizedfrequency;forrestrictions
ontheuseofthesedevicesrefertolocaland/ornationalcodes.

NotallAndroidandIOSsystemsarecompatiblewiththisapp.

5.2-Positionoftheconnectioncable
Connect the communication cable provided in the kit to the appropriate
connector on the card (A) depending to the model of your unit.
•MaestroProconnectthecabletoconnectorCN5(E).
•MaestroSmartconnectthecabletoconnectorCN1(D).
5.3-Choosingtheinterfaceinstallationlocation
“MAESTRO SMART” MODEL
The compartment for the B1018 board is located at the rear of the unit
in the upper left, follow the instructions below to access it:
a. Disconnect the power supply to the unit.
b. Remove the unit from the wall mounting bracket.
c. Pull out the bottom cover (1) and the top cover (2). (Fig.1)
d. Unscrew the six screws (3) that lock the front cover (4), then remove
it. (Fig.1)
e. Remove the rear protection (5) on the upper left by unscrewing the
two screws (6). (Fig.2)
F. Install the B1018 card (8) in the appropriate housing and then tighten
the screws (7). (Fig.2)
G. Connect the communication cable (9) to the serial port (9a) located
below the electrical panel.
Pass the wiring on the left side of the electrical panel. (Fig.3)
h. Close the rear protection (5) and tighten the screws (6).
l. Replace the front cover (4) of the unit and secure the cabinet with
the six screws (3).
m. Replace the upper (2) and lower (1) interlocking covers.
n. Remount the unit on the wall bracket.

“MAESTRO PRO” MODEL
The compartment to install the B1018 card is located behind the front
of the unit in the upper right, follow the instructions below to access it:
a. Disconnect the power supply to the unit.
b. Open the supply air grill (11) and remove the two screws (10). (Fig
4)
c. Detach the right and left covers (12) with a screwdriver, then remove
themandturntheaps(13).(Fig.5)
d. Remove the three screws (14) and the two screws (15). (Fig.6)
e. Remove the front cover (16). (Fig.7)
F. Install the B1018 card (8) in the appropriate housing then tighten the
screws (7). (Fig.8)
g. Connect the communication cable (9) to the unit serial connector port
(18) and to the corresponding connector port on the B1018 card as
speciedinsection5.2.(Fig.9)
h. Replace the front cover (16) of the unit and secure the cabinet with
the screws (14-15-10).
l. Close the supply air grill (11).
6 - DRY CONTACT
The card manages a dry contact (B) which when open forces the unit into
stand-by mode and the open contact alarm is shown on the app.
When the contact is closed, the card forces the unit to start operating in the
same mode as was being used prior to the dry contact opening.

7 - APP DOWNLOAD AND INSTALLATION
The OLIMPIA SPLENDID MAESTRO APP can be downloaded for free from
the Google Play Store and iPhone App Store.
• GotothePlayStoreorAppStoretodownloadtheoperatingsystems
supported by Android and IOS.
• TheOLIMPIA SPLENDID MAESTRO APP may be subject to change
without notice, to improve its functionality and performance.
• WhenstartingtheMaestro
appforthersttime,itwill
display the “ADD A NEW
UNIT” screen
