The CAMEDIA C-3030ZOOM has what it takes to deliver realistic,
high-quality images and stimulate your creativity: a 3.3 megapixel CCD,
precision 3X optical zoom lens backed by Olympus,history of creating superior optics,
and a multitude of finely-adjustable settings such as exposure which can be
precisely controlled as desired. And its compact & lightweight* black
aluminium-alloy body features a large, round grip for steady holding.
As easy to use as a film camera, the CAMEDIA C-3030ZOOM captures
genuinely high-resolution digital images like no other digital camera.

3.3 Megapixel CCD & 3X Optical Zoom Lens
The ideal combination of a large 1/1.8 inch, 3.3 megapixel CCD and bright F2.8, 6.5~19.5mm* 3X optical zoom
lens capture images more vividly than ever before. Freely adjustable 1 to 2.5X Digital Zoom enables up to
7.5X** telephoto shooting. In addition to the accurate iESP (Intelligent Electro-Selective Pattern) autofocus,
manual focusing is possible within 160 steps. * Equivalent to 32~96mm on a 35mm camera. ** When used with the 3X optical zoom.
3Auto & Manual Exposure Modes
Aperture-Priority AE utilises the F2.8 aperture
to capture blurred backgrounds. Shutter-Priority
AE allows you to set the shutter speed to up to
1/800th of a second. With Program AE, the camera
automatically detects the optimum aperture and
shutter speed, while Manual Exposure allows you
to set the aperture and shutter speed to as long
as 16 seconds. The aperture level and shutter
speed are displayed on the LCD monitor.

Digital ESP Light Metering & Spot Metering
Digital ESP (Electro-Selective Pattern) Light Metering provides the
right exposure under difficult lighting conditions. Spot Metering
lets you attain more precise exposure, and can be easily selected
using the SPOT Select button.
Digital ESP Light Metering Conventional Light Metering
Quick Sequence Shooting
Up to 5 shots can be taken in a row at about 3.1 frames per
second in all modes except TIFF. In addition, autofocus can be
engaged simultaneously.
Arrow-Key Buttons
Various settings such as shutter speed,
aperture and exposure compensation can
easily be done with arrow-key buttons,
making it easy and quick to set as preferred.
Exposure Compensation &
Auto Bracketting
2 compensation in 1/3 stops is possible.
With Auto Exposure Bracketting, images
can be taken sequentially with 3 or 5 different
exposures in 1/3, 2/3 or 1 stops within 2.
You can then select frames to store and erase.

Variety of Image Sizes
2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960,
1024 x 768 or 640 x 480 pixels are available.
TIFF (Non-Compression), Low-Compression
or High-Compression can be selected for
each image size.
Auto & Preset Sensitivity Settings
Sensitivity can be set to Auto, as well as
approx. ISO100, ISO200 or ISO400.
ISO400 is appropriate for shooting in low
light without a flash.
2Sharpness Settings
You can select Normal or Soft sharpness.
The soft setting is ideal for processing
images on a computer.

USB Terminal for
Fast Transfer to a PC
The CAMEDIA C-3030ZOOM has a USB
terminal* for much faster data transfer to a PC
equipped with a USB port. Images can also
be transferred using the
provided software, and
the USB SmartMedia
Reader/Writer, FlashPath
or PC Card Adaptor are
also optionally available.
* A USB cable is provided.
Picture Effects
Black & White, Sepia, White Board or Black
Board can be selected, giving you greater
control over image style. With White Board
and Black Board mode, pictures of letters
can be taken extra-clearly.
Remote Control Unit
The RM-1 remote control unit is
included as standard.
Versatile Flash Functions for
Perfect Lighting
The intelligent variable-power flash is
incorporated, with Auto, Red-Eye Reducing,
Fill-In and Flash Off modes. Manual flash
exposure compensation is also available,
as is Slow Synchronisation.
With the optional powerful
FL-40 Flash Unit*, flash
output is controlled optimally
and flash coverage is
automatically adjusted
with changes in zooming.

Requires the FL-BK01 Exclusive Grip for connection.

iESP (Intelligent Electro-Selective Pattern)
Auto White Balance Setting enables shooting
with appropriate white balance. In addition,
the white balance can be preset for daylight,
overcast, tungsten and fluorescent light.

Sound* Recording
With a standard 16MB SmartMedia card,
Motion JPEG image & sound recording for

You can also record up to 4 seconds of
sound when shooting still images.
