InstallatIon
1. Attach manifold to an outdoor hose faucet.
Recommended: secure manifold to wall using the
mounting hardware and instructions provided.
2. Attach up to 4 valves to manifold ports.
3. Connect valve plugs to corresponding outlets–different valves can-
not be put on different cycles; timer is internally programmed to
run in sequence (one after the other).
4. Install AA alkaline batteries as shown in the battery tray. Allow the
timer about 3 minutes to complete the automatic setup, which will
close the valves.
5. Program timer as desired.
6. Slide timer onto the mounting bracket of manifold.
7. Turn on hose faucet.
Mounting the Manifold to the Wall
1. Use nut and bolt to attach brace to manifold.
2. Mark where brace touches the wall.
For masonry
3. Drill a 1⁄2 in. hole.
4. Insert lag shield and attach brace using 1⁄4 lag screw.
For stucco
3. Drill 5/16 in. hole.
4. Insert plastic anchor and attach brace using #14 round head screw.
Installing The Batteries
1. Remove the tray on the side of the timer by sliding it out.
2. Insert two AA (1.5V) alkaline batteries (not included) and
replace the tray.
Low battery icon will appear when batteries need replacing.
Replace batteries within 30 seconds or timer programming will be lost.
Tip: Remove batteries when timer is not in use for extended periods.
ProgrammIng
Rotate the dial to positions indicated for setup.
1. Turn Dial to Set Clock
1. Press the + button to advance clock time (hold button for quick
advance). Press the – button to reverse clock time (hold button for
quick advance). *keep in mind am/pm
2. Turn the knob to accept clock time.
2. Turn Dial to Set Day
1. Use the < and > buttons to move cursor (blinking line)
over current day.
2. Turn dial to accept the day.
3. Turn Dial to Start Time
Each start time cycles through all watering stations (1, 2, 3, and 4).
Cycle A is for if you want to water once a day. Add Cycle B if you want
to water two times a day (2 different start times). Add Cycle C if you
want to water three times a day (3 different start times).
1. Use < and > buttons to select start time A, B, or C .
2. Press ENTER to edit start time.
3. Use the + and – buttons to set desired start time.

4. Press ENTER to accept the setting.
5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 for B and C if you want to water more than
once a day.
To clear a start time
1. Use the < and > buttons to move the cursor over cycle letter
(A, B, C)
2. Press ENTER to select
3. Press CLEAR
EXAMPLE: If cycle A is set for 6:00 am, then at 6:00 am your first valve
will turn on and run for its duration, then it will turn off and the second
station will automatically turn on and run for its duration.
4. Turn Dial to Run Time
Set watering duration from 1 to 240 minutes for up to 4 stations.
1. Use the < and > buttons to select the run time for valves stations
1, 2, 3, or 4.
2. Use the + and - buttons to increase and decrease the run time.
3. Turn dial to accept the run time.
5. Turn Dial to How Often
Select which days to water or every 1 to 14 days. All stations and
cycles will water on selected days.
1. Use the < and > buttons to select which days to water Sunday
through Saturday.
2. Press ENTER after each selected day. [_] will appear around
days selected to water.
3. Press CLEAR to deselect a day. Or select INTERVAL.
1 is every day, 2 is every other day etc. up to 14 days.
4. Use the + and – buttons to increase and decrease the
number of days.
5. Press ENTER to accept the setting.
6. Turn Dial to Auto
Timer waters according to programmed start time(s), run time(s),
on the programmed days or interval; this is where you want the
dial to have your program run.
Manual Watering
Allows you to water immediately without interrupting
the set cycle(s).
1. Press the MANUAL button when dial is turned to AUTO.
2. Press ENTER to run all stations once as previously
programmed in RUN TIME section. Or, use the < and >
buttons to select which station(s) to manually water.
3. Press ENTER when cursor is over desired watering station.
4. Use + and – buttons to set from 1 to 240 minutes
* There will be a 6 second delay till your cycle will begin
Screen will flash between clock and minutes remaining
on cycle. To remove manual watering and resume
programmed cycle press CLEAR.
Rain Delay
Delay watering cycle during precipitation to conserve water
1. When in AUTO, press + button for 24 hrs, 48 hrs, or 72 hrs
Screen will flash between clock and hours remaining before
programmed cycle resumes. To remove rain delay, press CLEAR,
or turn dial to OFF and then back to AUTO.
Off
Off stops the timer from watering and clears Rain Delay.
troubleshootIng
Water does not come on at desired time. Check if:
■Clock is set to correct time including AM and PM.
■Start time is set to desired time including AM and PM.
■Start times begin after previous watering cycle has run through all
stations and set durations.
■Rain Delay is on (DELAY appears on left side of screen if on).
Timer does not water. Check if:
■Timer is set to AUTO.
■Batteries are low.
■Clock is set to correct time including AM and PM.
■Rain Delay is on (DELAY appears on left side of screen if on).
■Valve plugs are inserted in the correct corresponding timer outlet.
Water won’t turn off. Check if:
■Watering duration is set to desired time.Start times begin
after previous watering cycle has run through all stations
and set duration.

InstalacIÓn
1. Conecte el tubo colector a un grifo de manguera externo.
Se recomienda: Asegure el tubo colector a la pared con los
accesorios de montaje y las instrucciones que se entregan.
2. Conecte hasta 4 válvulas a los puertos del tubo colector
3. Conecte las tomas de las válvulas a las salidas correspondientes.
No se pueden poner diferentes válvulas en ciclos diferentes, ya que
el temporizador está programado para trabajar en secuencia (uno
después de otro).
4. Coloque baterías alcalinas AA en la bandeja del compartimento de
baterías, como se muestra. Dé 3 minutos al temporizador para que
complete la configuración automática, la cual cerrará las válvulas.
5. Programe el temporizador con la configuración que desee.
6. Deslice el temporizador sobre la abrazadera de montaje del tubo
colector.
7. Abra el grifo de la manguera.
Montaje del tubo colector en la pared
1. Use un perno y una tuerca para ajustar la abrazadera
al tubo colector.
2. Marque el lugar donde la abrazadera toca la pared.
Para mampostería
3. Taladre un orificio de ½".
4. Inserte el ancla de expansión interna y conecte la abrazadera
usando un tornillo tirafondo de ¼".
Para estuco
3. Taladre un orificio de 5/16".
4. Inserte el ancla de expansión plástica y conecte la abrazadera
usando un tornillo de cabeza redonda #14.
Instalación de las baterías
1. Retire la bandeja lateral del temporizador deslizándola hacia fuera.
2. Inserte 2 baterías alcalinas AA (1,5 V) (no incluidas) y vuelva a
colocar la bandeja.
Aparecerá el icono de batería baja para indicar que es necesario
cambiar las baterías. Cambie las baterías en menos de 30 segundos o
la programación del temporizador se perderá.
Sugerencia: Retire las baterías cuando no vaya a usar el temporizador
por un período prolongado.
ProgramacIÓn
Gire el dial a la posición que se indica para la configuración.
1. Gire el dial para configurar la hora
1. Presione el botón + para avanzar la hora del reloj (mantenga
presionado el botón para avanzar rápidamente). Presione el botón
– para retroceder la hora del reloj (mantenga presionado el botón
para avanzar rápidamente). *Tenga en cuenta a.m. y p.m.
2. Gire la perilla para confirmar la hora del reloj.
2. Gire el dial para configurar el día
1. Use los botones < y > para mover el cursor (línea titilante)
al día actual.
2. Gire el dial para confirmar la fecha.
3. Gire el dial para la hora de inicio
Cada hora de inicio cumple un ciclo por todas las estaciones de riego
(1, 2, 3 y 4). El ciclo A es cuando usted desea regar una vez por día.
Agregue el ciclo B si desea regar dos veces por día (dos horas de inicio
diferentes). Agregue el ciclo C si desea regar tres veces por día (tres
horas de inicio diferentes).
1. Use los botones < y > para seleccionar la hora de inicio A, B o C.
2. Presione ENTER para cambiar la hora de inicio.
3. Use los botones + y – para seleccionar la hora de inicio que desee.

4. Presione ENTER para confirmar la configuración.
5. Repita los pasos 1 a 4 para los ciclos B y C si desea regar más de
una vez por día.
Para borrar una hora de inicio
1. Use los botones < y > para mover el cursor entre las letras de los
ciclos (A, B y C).
2. Presione ENTER para seleccionar.
3. Presione CLEAR.
EJEMPLO: Si el ciclo A está configurado para 6 a.m., entonces a las
6 a.m. la primera válvula se encenderá y regará el tiempo configurado,
luego se apagará y la segunda estación se encenderá automáticamente
y regará el tiempo configurado.
4. Gire el dial para el tiempo de funcionamiento
Ajuste la duración del riego de 1 a 240 minutos para hasta 4 estaciones.
1. Use los botones < y > para seleccionar el tiempo de funcionamiento
para las estaciones de las válvulas 1, 2, 3 ó 4.
2. Use los botones + y – para aumentar y disminuir el tiempo
de ejecución.
3. Gire el selector para aceptar el tiempo de ejecución.
5. Gire el dial para la frecuencia
Seleccione los días en los que desea regar o la frecuencia entre 1 a 14
días. El temporizador pasará por todas las estaciones y todos los ciclos
en los días seleccionados.
1. Use los botones < y > para seleccionar qué días desea regar desde
domingo a sábado.
2. Presione ENTER después de seleccionar cada día. En pantalla
aparecerá el icono [_] alrededor de los días que seleccionó
para regar.
3. Presione CLEAR para eliminar un día seleccionado. O bien,
seleccione INTERVAL. 1 es todos los días, 2 es dejando un día, etc.
hasta 14 días.
4. Use los botones + y – para aumentar y disminuir el número de días.
5. Presione ENTER para confirmar la configuración.
6. Gire el dial a automático
El temporizador regará a las horas y días programados, con el tiempo y
los intervalos seleccionados, aquí es donde usted debe desplazar el dial
para que su programa funcione.
Riego manual
Le permite regar inmediatamente sin interrumpir el o los ciclos
configurados).
1. Presione el botón MANUAL cuando el dial esté en la posición AUTO.
2. Presione ENTER para hacer funcionar todas las estaciones
que se programaron anteriormente en la sección TIEMPO DE
FUNCIONAMIENTO. O bien, use los botones < y > para seleccionar
qué estaciones desea usar para regar en forma manual.
3. Presione ENTER cuando el cursor esté sobre la estación de riego
que desea seleccionar.
4. Use los botones + y – para configurar de 1 a 240 minutos.
* Habrá un lapso de 6 segundos antes de que el ciclo empiece. La
pantalla cambiará entre el reloj y los minutos que restan en el ciclo.
Para eliminar el regado manual y reanudar el ciclo programado,
presione CLEAR.
Rain Delay (retardo por lluvia)
Retarde el ciclo de regado durante precipitaciones para ahorrar agua.
1. Cuando esté en modo AUTO, presione el botón + para cambiar
entre 24, 48 ó 72 horas. La pantalla cambiará entre el reloj y
el número de horas que faltan para que se reanude el ciclo
programado. Para desactivar el retardo por lluvia, presione
CLEAR o gire el dial a la posición OFF y después regréselo a AUTO.
Off (apagar)
El botón Off (apagar) detiene el riego y borra el retardo por lluvia.
solucIÓn de Problemas
El agua no sale a la hora deseada. Revise si:
■El reloj está programado a la hora correcta, incluso en AM y PM.
■La hora de inicio está programada a la hora correcta, incluso en
AM y PM.
■Las horas de inicio comienzan después de que el ciclo de riego
anterior ha pasado por todas las estaciones y duraciones
configuradas.
■El retardo por lluvia está activado (si está activado, aparece DELAY
en el lado izquierdo de la pantalla).
El temporizador no activa el riego. Revise si:
■El temporizador está en modo AUTO.
■Las baterías están bajas.
■El reloj está programado a la hora correcta, incluso en AM y PM.
■El retardo por lluvia está activado (si está activado, aparece DELAY
en el lado izquierdo de la pantalla).
■Las tomas de las válvulas están insertadas en la salida
correspondiente del temporizador.
El agua no se corta. Revise si:
■La duración del riego está establecida en el tiempo deseado.
■Las horas de inicio comienzan después de que el ciclo de riego
anterior ha pasado por todas las estaciones y duraciones
configuradas.
