Thank you for purchasing the OSIM uCheck Smart. Please
read the operation manual thoroughly for the correct
methods of usage and take special notice of the safety
section before you start.
This manual should be kept on hand for easy reference. It is
your guide to a safe and efficient operation.

Usage environment
• Do not use the product in a room with temperatures of
40°C or higher and high humidity environment.
• Precision components are used in the construction of the
product. Extremes in temperature, humidity, direct sunlight,
shock or dust should be avoided.
• The product is designed for home use and not for
commercial purposes.
Safety
Usage safety
• Do not use or operate the product when your arm is wet.
• Do not use the the product if any part of the product is
cracked.
• Do not insert any object into the product as this may result
in malfunction.
• Do not stack heavy items on the product.
• Do not drop the product or allow it to come into contact
with water.
• The product is a high precision measuring device. Do not
subject the product to shock or vibration.
• Do not disassemble the product. Touching the internal
components may result in malfunction.
• Do not attempt to repair the product. Users are to contact
OSIM Service Centre for further assistance and information.

• This product is not intended for self-diagnosis or self-
treatment of conditions that should be managed by a
qualified health care provider.
• Bear in mind self-measurement is a means of monitoring
your health, not diagnosis or treatment. Any unusual
reading must be consulted with your doctor.
•Do not use the product if you have pacemakers, ventilators,
electro-cardiographs, artificial limbs, contraceptive device
or metal implants. When in doubt, please consult a medical
doctor.
• Measurements may be incorrect if the device is used close
to a television, microwave oven, oven, X-ray or other devices
with strong electrical fields.
• Use only attachments recommended by OSIM if any.
•Children should be supervised by an adult to ensure that
they do not play with the product as there are some parts
small enough to be swallowed. Beware of strangling risk as
the device is supplied with a tube.

Battery installation
• Insert 4 x 1.5V ‘AA’ alkaline batteries into the battery
compartment, ensure that the (+) and (-) polarities of the
batteries are fitted correctly.
Preparation before use
Note:
• Remove batteries from the battery compartment when
the uCheck Smart will not be used for a long period of
time so as to prevent any battery leakage.
• Exhausted batteries are to be safely disposed.
• Different types of batteries, or new and used batteries
are not to be mixed.
• Do not use rechargeable batteries.

Setting year
Press and hold the [ ] ‘Time’ button until ‘Year’ display starts
blinking.
1) Press the [ ] ‘Memory’ button to adjust.
2) To confirm selection, press the [ ] ‘Time’ button.
Setting month, day and time
Once you finished setting the year, the ‘Month-day’ display
would start blinking.
• Repeat step 1 & 2 to select month, day and time.
Note:
• The ‘Hour’ values are in 24H format.
• Press & hold the [ ] ‘Time’ button to reset the year,
month, date and time.
Setting measurement unit
The default measurement unit is mmHg.
1) To switch the measurement unit from mmHg to kPa, press
and hold the [ ] ‘ON/OFF’ button until the LCD screen
shows ‘0.0’ for kPa, then release the button.
2) To switch the measurement unit from kPa to mmHg, press
and hold the [ ] ‘ON/OFF’ button until the LCD screen
shows ‘0’ for mmHg, then release the button.

Wrapping the cuff
• With the air hose of the
cuff positioned in the
direction of the fingertips,
place the cuff on your left
arm.
• Ensure that the
“ARTERY MARK” [ ] is in
line with the middle finger.
Wrap the cuff around the
arm with the edge of the
cuff approximately 2-3 cm
above the elbow.
• Press the surface of the
cuff to make sure that it
is attached securely.

• When the cuff is secure,
check it is not too loose or
too tight. You should be
able to place two/three
fingers between the cuff
and arm.
• If the cuff is wrapped
tightly or loosely,
inaccurate blood pressure
readings may result.
• If you are wearing a
shirt that might restrict
circulation in your upper
arm, roll your sleeve up over
the upper arm to ensure an
accurate measurement.

Correct measuring posture
• Sit at a table and rest your arm
on the table as you take the
blood pressure measurement.
Make sure that the cuff on the
upper arm is at approximately
the same height as the heart,
and that the forearm is
extended naturally on the table
and does not move.
• Measured data may vary
slightly depending on the
posture during measurement. If
the cuff is lower or higher than
the heart, the measured reading
tends to become higher or lower
respectively.

Measuring blood pressure with pulse rate
•Press the [ ] ‘ON/OFF’ button once. A ‘beep’ sound will
be heard and the cuff will start to inflate. It is normal for
the cuff to feel very tight.
•When inflation is completed, deflation starts automatically
and the ‘ ’ (pulse symbol) blinks, indicating that the
measurement is in progress. Once the pulse is detected, the
pulse symbol will flash with each pulse beat.
•When the measurement is completed, a ‘beep’ sound
will be heard and the systolic/diastolic pressure readings
and pulse rate will be displayed. The cuff exhausts the
remaining air and deflates completely.
•Press [ ] ‘ON/OFF’ button again to turn off the power.
• If you wish to stop inflation at any time, press the [ ]
‘ON/OFF’ button again.

Memory
At the end of a measurement, uCheck Smart automatically
stores each result.
Manual operation
Viewing stored values
• When the uCheck Smart is switched off, press and release
the [ ] ‘Memory’ button to view the
stored values in the uCheck Smart.
e.g: ‘ ’ means that there are 10 measurement
values stored in the uCheck Smart’s memory.
Memory capacity
The uCheck Smart can store up to 60 measurements. Once
memory is full, the latest recorded measurement will override
the previous measurement.
•Pressing the [ ] ‘Memory’ button again displays the
previous value. All individual measurements can be viewed
by pressing the [ ] ‘Memory’ button repeatedly.

Deleting stored values from memory
• Ensure that you no longer need any of the measurements
stored in the uCheck Smart’s memory before you delete
them.
• To delete entire stored memory readings, press and hold the
[ ] ‘Memory’ button till the screen shows ‘CL’ and the
‘ ’ icon.
• Release the [ ] ‘Memory’ button and ‘CL’ will begin to
flash. Press the [ ] ‘Memory’ button again immediately
and ALL stored readings would have been deleted.
Note: You CANNOT delete any particular measurement.
When you do not want to store a reading
• Right after the measurement, while the reading is still being
displayed, press and hold [ ] ‘ON/OFF’ button till the
‘ ’ icon in the LCD screen is flashing and release the
button.
• Press the [ ] ‘Memory’ button and ‘CL’will display on the
LCD screen (it will flash only once and disappear).
• Your last measured result will not be recorded.

Pairing uCheck Smart with smart device
1. Turn on the Bluetooth on your
smart device.
2. Download and launch the
OSIM Well-Being App.
3. Create an account if you’re a new user or login if you’re an
existing user.
4. Go to Devices Tab and select the [ ] button to add and
register the device to your account by scanning the QR Code/
Barcode or by manual input.
5. When registration has succeeded, select uCheck Smart on the
Device tab and tap to pair.
6. Follow onscreen instructions.

8. You may now start measuring by tapping on ‘uCheck Smart’
on the Device tab.
9. Follow the tutorial closely to begin measurement.
To view tutorial again on how to use uCheck Smart, go to
‘Devices’> ‘uCheck Smart’> More Options >Tutorial.
Note: Once paired with the OSIM Well-Being App, all measurement data
WILL NOT be stored in the uCheck Smart.
7. The uCheck Smart icon image will appear on the pairing list
when the product is detected. Tap on it to connect.

Compatibility of OSIM Well-Being App
•Compatible with selected smart devices running on iOS
version 12 and above or Android version 5.0 and above.
•All smart devices require compatible connectivity using
wireless (Wi-Fi or cellular data networks) and Bluetooth-LE 4.0
and above.
• For updates on OSIM Well-Being App, please visit the
respective app stores.
If you encounter problems with the operation of the
uCheck Smart, please check the following points to see if they
can be rectified.
If the uCheck Smart still malfunctions or does not work, please
turn off the uCheck Smart and remove the batteries from
the battery compartment. Contact OSIM Service Centre* for
servicing.
Do not dismantle or attempt to repair the uCheck Smart
yourself. Doing so will void the warranty and OSIM will not
bear any responsibility for any subsequent consequences.
