The suction pump may be used only for sucking up petrol, oil and non-hazardous liquids.
Never use the equipment to suck up acids or other hazardous liquids. The machine is to
be used only for its prescribed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a case of misuse.
The user / operator and not the manufacturer will be liable for any damage or injuries of
any kind caused as a result of this. The operating instructions as supplied by the
manufacturer must be kept and referred to in order to ensure that the machine is properly
used and maintained. Any use which is not expressly permitted in the manual may result
in damage to the machine and place the user in serious danger. Be sure to observe the
restrictions in the safety instructions. Please note that our equipment has not been
designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial applications.
Before Starting the Equipment
Screw the vacuum pump assembly (Fig. 1 / part 2) onto collecting container (Fig. 1 / part
10) and place this firmly on the plastic container. Insert the supplied suction hose A or B
tightly into the small cap (Fig. 1 / part 4), then screw the small cap onto collecting container
(Fig. 1 / part 10) and place this firmly on the plastic container.
Operation
For best result in winter, run the engine for approximately 3 to 4 minutes to slightly warm
oil. Do not use with hot engines (no more than 30 degrees Celsius or 90 degrees
Fahrenheit). Failure to comply may result in tank distortion and/or collapse.
Suction Process
Always use both hands for pumping movements There is only one way for the suction
process: Place the end of the suction hose to the bottom of the container that you wish
to empty. Make pumping movements with the pump lever (Fig.1 / part 1), a vacuum is
created in the collecting container and the liquid is sucked into this container.
If the container you wish to empty is higher than the suction pump, the liquid will continue to
flow even after you stop the pumping movements. Always ensure you carefully observe the liquid
level in the container. Do not leave the equipment unattended during the suction process. The
suction process must be fully completed when you leave the unit. Once all the oil has been
extracted, remove the small cap from the container and remove the vacuum pump assembly.
Empty the old oil carefully into a recycling container. Petrol and oil are dangerous substances
which must be disposed of in accordance with public regulations.

Cleaning and Storing
Rub down the equipment with a clean cloth. We recommend that you clean the equipment
immediately after you use it. Store the unit and accessories in a dry, well-ventilated area, out
of the reach of children and other unauthorized users.
Troubleshooting
The gaskets inside the big and small caps are not sealing properly to hold the vacuum. You
can check this by listening for air leaks. We recommend that you firmly tighten both big and
small caps again to ensure the proper seal. If the leakage can still be detected, check gaskets
for wear and misalignment. Replace gaskets and tighten the caps firmly.
Air leakage in the sealing between the suction hose and small cap so we recommend that the
hose is to be inserted into the small cap to ensure the sealing is tight. If the hose is damaged,
then the air leakage problem can't be solved. In this situation cut off the damaged apart of
the hose, and insert the new hose end into the small cap.
If you accidentally over fill the tank or if the oil happens to enter the pump assembly, you can
unscrew the pump assembly from the tank and put it upside down to let the oil flow into a
container. After the oil is drained, pump the handle a few times to get the remaining drops
of oil out. Keep in mind a small amount of oil in the pump is good for the unit and actually
prolongs the life of the pump.
Please retain a copy of all instructions for future
consultation.
