Thank you for purchasing this Audio/Video and Navigation
System.
This user's manual explains how to use the OzNav Audio/
Video and Navigation System. Before using the product, read
the contents of this user's manual carefully and use this
product safely.
• The screens shown in this manual may differ with the actual
screens of the product.
• The design and specification of this product may change
without prior notification for product improvement.
• When transferring the vehicle to another individual, include
this user's manual so that the next driver can continue its
use.

Precautions for safe usage
• Driving while distracted can result in a loss of vehicle control,
that may lead to an accident, severe personal injury, and
death. The driver's primary responsibility is in the safe and
legal operation of a vehicle, and use of any handheld
devices, other equipment, or vehicle systems which take the
driver's eyes, attention and focus away from the safe
operation of a vel1icle or which are not permissible by law
should never be used during operation of the vehicle.
• Do not operate this system while driving.
• Do not disassemble, assemble, or modify this system.
• Do not watch the screen for prolonged periods of lime while
driving.
• Set the volume to a level which allows the driver to be aware
of external conditions.
• Do not operate this system for prolonged periods of time with
the vehicle ignition in ACC. Such operations may lead to
battery discharge.
• Be cautious not to spill water or introduce foreign objects into
the device.
• Do not cause severe shock to the device. Direct pressure
onto the front side of the monitor may cause damage to the
LCD or touch panel.
• In case of product malfunction, please contact your place of
purchase or service center.
• When cleaning the touch screen, make sure to turn off the
device and use a dry and smooth cloth. Never use tough
materials, chemical cloths, or solvents (alcohol, ammonia,
benzene, thinners, etc.) as such materials may damage the
device panel or cause colour and quality deterioration.

Safety information
Warning
• Even when receiving route guidance from the Navigation
System, please abide by traffic and road regulations in force.
Following only the Navigation route guidance may lead to
violations of traffic and road regulations in force and lead to
traffic accidents.
• Do not stare at the screen while driving. Staring at the screen
for prolonged periods of time could lead to a traffic accident.
• Do not operate the Navigation System while driving, e.g.
entering POI (Point Of Interest)s or conducting route
searches. Such actions could lead to a traffic accident. Stop
the vehicle before operating the device.
• Do not disassemble, assemble or modify this system. Such
actions could result in an accident, fire or electric shock.
• Be careful not to spill water or introduce foreign objects into
the device. Such actions could lead to a fire or product
malfunction.
• If you use phone-related functions while driving, you will find
it difficult to concentrate on operating the vehicle and the
current traffic conditions, so the possibility of an accident
may increase. Please use phone-related functions only when
stationary.
• Please refrain from use if the screen is blank or no sound
can be heard as these signs may indicate product
malfunction.
Continued use in such conditions could lead to accidents
(fires, electric shock) or product malfunction.
• Do not touch the antenna during thunder or lightening as this
may lead to lightning-induced electric shock.
• Do not stop or park in parking-restricted areas to operate the
product. Such actions could lead to traffic accidents.
• For most video modes, the display will not operate when the
vehicle is in motion. For your safety, first park the vehicle to
watch or view the screen. The screen will only operate when
the parking brake is ON for manual transmission vehicles
and when the parking brake is ON or the gear stick is in the
P (PARK) position for automatic vehicles.
• Other functions may not be usable while driving. These
functions operate only when the vehicle is stationary.

Caution
Pay attention to traffic conditions while driving.
• In some instances, navigation may provide guidance through
restricted areas.
• Operating the device while driving could lead to accidents
due to a lack of attention to external surroundings. Stop the
vehicle before operating the device. In addition, the
touchscreen may not work for some functions when the
vehicle is in motion. The touchscreen feature will be
supported once the vehicle has stopped.
• Adjust the volume to levels that allow the driver to hear
sounds from outside of the vehicle. Driving in a state where
external sounds cannot be heard may lead to accidents.
• Pay attention to the volume setting when turning the device
on. A sudden output of extreme volume upon turning the
device on could lead to hearing impairment.
Adjust the volume to a suitable level before turning off the
device.
• If you want to change the position of device installation,
please enquire with your place of purchase or service
maintenance center. Technical expertise is required to install
or disassemble the device.
• Turn on the car ignition before using this device. Do not
operate this system for long periods of time with the ignition
turned off as such operation may lead to battery discharge.
• Do not subject the device to severe shock or impact. Direct
pressure on the front of the monitor may cause damage to
the LCD or touchscreen.
• When cleaning the device, turn off the device and use a dry,
smooth cloth.
Never use tough materials, chemical cloths or solvents
(alcohol, benzene, thinners, etc.) as such materials may
damage the device panel or cause Colour/quality
deterioration. If you experience a product malfunction,
enquire with your place of purchase or service maintenance
center.
• Prevent caustic solutions such as perfume and cosmetic oil
from contacting the dashboard because they may cause
damage or discoloration.

This device is a Multimedia System equipped with a multi-functional
player that supports RADIO (FM1/2, AM), DAB+, USB, iPod, AUX,
A/V IN, and Bluetooth Audio features. The WIDE VGA LCD
provides a high quality resolution while the powerful and rich sound
system adds to driving enjoyment.

■Steering wheel remote control
This system can be operated by the signal
input of the SWC key installed in the
vehicle. The corresponding KEYs are as
follows.
➊VOL +/-: Increase/decrease the Volume
(press).
➋MUTE: Mute/unmute the sound (press).
➌SEEK +/-: Moves Radio frequency, seeks
DAB component or moves song in the
playback le to the next/previous song
(press); fast moves Radio frequency, seeks
DAB Ensemble or fast-forward/rewind
Media les (press and hold).
➍SOURCE: Changes Function mode (press).
➎HOME: Opens Home menu screen (press).
➏POWER: Turns system on (press); turns
system o/on (press and hold).
➐BAND: Changes Radio band (press).
➑SEND: Accepts an incoming call (press).
➒END: Rejects an incoming call (press).
➓VOICE: Launches Voice recognition feature
(press: when Google Voice or Siri available
phone is connected.)

• You can map the SWC keys by referring to
“Setting Other” on page 47.
• USB, iPod, AUX, Bluetooth Audio, Android

there is no device connected.

This system can be operated by the signal

Starting the System for the First
Time
■Turning the System On/Off
Press the smart ignition [ENGINE START/
STOP] button or place the ignition switch in
the ACC or ON position.
This system will turn on and the following
screen will appear.
Tap Agree to start the system.
• To agree automatically, activate ( ) the
checkbox.
The previously selected radio station or media
file is played.

To return using the system's functions,
press (Power) button on the system.
Note
• This system also turns on automatically
when a device is connected to the USB or
AUX port.
• If you turn o the system during a phone call
using the Hands-free feature, the call will
automatically switch to your mobile phone.
■Adjust the Volume
Rotate the VOL (Volume) dial on the
system, press the VOL +/
-
buttons on the
steering wheel control or / buttons on
the IR remote control to increase or
decrease the volume.
When the volume is adjusted, the current
mode name and volume level bar will appear
as shown below.
You can adjust the volume level individually
for each mode. The volume level range is
as follows;
• Audio: 0 ~ 30
• Navi/Ringtone/RearCam Mic: 0 ~ 15
• Phone: 1 ~ 15 • Beep: 0 ~ 4
■Muting the sound quickly
Press (Power) button on the system or
the MUTE button on the steering wheel to
activate the mute function.
When the mute function is activated, the
mute ( ) icon will appear on status bar.
To deactivate the mute function, press
(Power) button or rotate VOL dial on the
system, or press MUTE button on the
steering wheel.
■Restrictions on Features for
Safety Measures
Several features are limited while driving.
The restriction screen will disappear when
shifting gears into P or putting the parking
brake on.
Note
• You cannot operate the system while it is
booting up.
To turn the system off (standby mode),
press and hold (Power) button on the
system.
When the system is turned off, the clock and
date screen appears. This means that the
device is in standby mode.
Note
• You can change the Power o displaying
mode by referring to “Setting the Power-o
display type” on page 43.

■Using the Multi View Camera
When the vehicle speed is less than 30 km/
h, press (Camera) button on the system
to open the Multi View Camera screen.
Display the camera images according to each
camera mode.
Each camera mode control is shown below.
• All: Display all directions camera images
through screen division; expands a specic
screen to full screen (tap a specic screen);
returns to All mode screen (tap full screen).
• Front/Left/Right: Displays images in the
corresponding direction in full screen;
switches to between All and single view (tap
screen).
To return to previous screen, press
(Camera) button on the system.
Note
• You can set the Camera features by
referring to “Setting Other” on page 48.
■Using the Rear View Camera
When power is turned on and the Reverse
gear is selected, the Rear View Camera or
Parking Assist System will display the area
behind the vehicle on the screen.
<In case of Parking Assist System is
supported with a Rear View Camera>
<In case of only Rear View Camera is
equipped>
The Rear View Camera display is not a
substitute for proper and safe driving
procedures. Always drive safely and use
caution when backing up. The rearview
camera display may not detect all objects
behind the vehicle.
Caution
• The Rear View Camera's purpose is to
prevent accidents or injuries. Do not use
this function for entertainment purpose.
• Objects in the Rear View Camera's images
may be closer or more distant than they
actually appear.
Note
• You can set the Rear View Camera features
by referring to “Setting Other” on page 48.
• The edges of images may dier slightly
depending on whether full-screen images
are displayed when reversing.
<In case of only Rear Parking Assist
System is supported without a Rear View
Camera>
■Turn the Display Off/On
Press and hold (Home) button on the
system to turn the LCD screen off.
To turn the LCD screen on, tap the LCD
screen or press any button on the system/
steering wheel control.

On-Screen Touch Controls
Learn how to touch the screen to operate
the system.
[Select]
Tap lightly on a menu or item to select it.
Note
• The system will not recognize your touch if
you wear a glove or other non-conductive
material. Touch the screen using your finger,
an electrostatic touchscreen glove or a stylus
pen.
[Drag & Drop]
Select a menu or item and drag and drop it
where you want to place it.
Drag or touch the slider along the play bar
in the music screens to jump to the point
that you want to play from. However, the
Bluetooth Audio player does not support
drag function.
[Press and Hold]
Pressing the I◄◄ and ►►I buttons in the
music or video player will fast forward/
rewind the music or video.
Note
• Touch gesture for Phone Projection such as
double-tapping, and swiping are not
available with the built-in applications.
[Swipe (Quick Scrolling)]
Quickly moves up and down in the list.
Note
• Moving the list when there are many items
will display a handler to the right of the
display. You can easily move many items at
a time using the handler

You can access the radio player by
selecting the Radio on the Home
screen.
• By using the IR Remote Control, press the
MODE button repeatedly until the desired
Radio band screen appears.

Service name for RBDS, frequency) and
controls.

USB Media
■Before Playing a USB Media
Connect the USB device after turning on
the engine. The USB device may become
damaged if it is already connected when
the ignition is turned on.
• Files that are not standard format Music/
Image/Video les will not be played.
• Be careful of static electricity when
connecting/disconnecting external USB
devices.
• Encoded MP3/Photo/Video players will not be
recognized when connected as an external
device.
• When connecting an external USB device,
the device may not properly recognize that
the USB is in certain states.
• Only products formatted with byte/sectors
under 64 kbps will be recognized.
• USB devices, formatted to the FAT32 le
system, are recommended. File systems
other than FAT32 are not supported.
• Some USB devices may not be supported
due to compatibility issues.
• Take care that the USB connector does not
come in contact with body parts or objects.
• Repeated connecting/disconnecting of USB
devices within short periods of time may
result in product malfunction.
• Be sure to connect/disconnect external USB
devices with the audio power turned o.
• The amount of time required to recognize
the external USB device may dier
depending on the type, size or le formats
stored on the USB. Any dierences in the
time required are not indicative of
malfunction.
• The use of USB devices for purposes other
than playing music, image and video les is
prohibited.
• Do not use the USB I/F to charge batteries
or USB accessories that generate heat. This
may lead to poor performance or damage to
the device.
• The device may not recognize the USB
device if separately purchased USB hubs
and extension cables are being used.
Connect the USB directly to the multimedia
terminal of the vehicle.
• When using mass storage USB devices with
separate logical drives, only les saved to
the root drive can be played.
• When application programs are installed on
specic USBs, les may not play properly.
• The device may not operate normally if MP3
players, mobile phones, digital cameras or
other electronic devices (USB devices not
recognized as portable disk drives) are
connected to the device.
• Charging through the USB may not work for
some mobile devices.
• The device may not support normal
operation when using a USB memory type
other than Metal Cover Type USB Memory.
• The device may not support normal
operation when using formats such as HDD,
CF or SD memory.
• When playing iPods, please use a dedicated
iPod car cable.
• Normal operation cannot be guaranteed
when other cables are used.
• The device will not support les locked by
DRM (Digital Rights Management).
• USB memory sticks used by connecting an
adaptor (SD or CF) may not be properly
recognized.
• Only use plug type connector products, as
shown in the gure below.
