Choose the rotation platform that best fits your needs. The package includes a 15.4” /
39 cm rotation platform covering the 11.4” / 29 cm platform.
To use the 11.4” / 29 cm rotation platform, simply remove the screw in the center of the
15.4” / 39 cm platform. See Picture 2.
Do not lose the screw.
To put the 15.4” / 39 cm rotation platform back, line up the two rotation platforms with
the help of the 4 alignment marks and replace the screw in the center.
Place the O3T turntable inside of the PackshotCreator lightbox. See picture 3.
Select a background: two black and two white backgrounds are included in the O3T
package. However any background color, texture and size can be used.

- For Mini models: plug the other end of the USB cable directly into the USB port of
your computer.
- For Business models: the lightbox has an integrated USB port. Connect the USB
cable to this port then complete the installation by running a USB cord from the back
of the lightbox to your computer.

connected to the PC.
- Check that the power switch on the turntable is set on the ‘on’ position.
- Close all windows then re-launch the software and try again.
If the problem persists, try to remove any other device connected via USB or plug the O3T
turntable into a different port of your computer and try again.
Photography Tips
Take time to place your product properly on the turntable. During the rotation test, make
sure your object never goes outside the established crop markers.
When creating an animation, some settings can make the file size very large. Keep setting
your animation to 72 dpi unless you have to create large files for a specific purpose.
When using the O3T turntable inside of your lightbox, placing the turntable on the side shot
background will give you a more consistent background. Moreover, it will cover the USB
port and power jack in the lightbox.
Using an appropriate background color for your product is of utmost importance: for exam-
ple, when taking pictures of white objects, try using a black or gray background to enhance
the colors of your product.
For more convenience, when using the tripod for side shots, mark the position of your tripod
on the floor and note the camera settings so that you keep the same angle and height for
the next shots.
Your digital camera works with an auto-focus system. Despite all its advantages, auto-focus
is sensitive to picture content and sometimes, images may appear blurry. If this happens,
try:
- Moving the object closer to the background
- Using a colored background under the object to add contrast
- Clicking on the “Preview” button to readjust the focus before taking the next picture
- Zooming out
- If you are in Manual mode, make sure you are in macro mode
Sometimes you may find it useful to control the camera’s depth of field to reduce or elimi-
nate the chance of having certain part of the products ot of focus.
To maximize the camera’s depth of field, choose the highest aperture value and adjust the
camera’s shutter speed so that the right amount of light enters into the camera.
When photographing transparent objects, in some cases, you may use a darker background
to enhance your product.
