ERSTE SCHRITTE
Packen Sie das Gerät vorsichtig aus. Nehmen Sie alle Zubehörteile aus dem Karton.
Stellen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes sicher, dass folgende Bestandteile vorhanden sind:

EINSCHALTEN
Wenn The Monkey ausgeschaltet ist, Drehknopf A drücken und gedrückt halten ().
Das rote/blaue LED-Licht leuchtet.
AUSSCHALTEN
Wenn The Monkey eingeschaltet ist, Drehknopf A drücken und gedrückt halten ().
KOPPELN
Das Koppeln ist der Vorgang, mit dem eine verschlüsselte Verbindung zwischen The Monkey und
Bluetooth-Geräten aufgebaut wird.
Schritt 1
Schalten Sie The Monkey ein: Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das blaue/rote LED-Licht leuchtet. Das
blaue/rote LED-Licht zeigt an, dass sich The Monkey im Lautsprechermodus befindet.
Schritt 2
Befolgen Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung für Ihr Bluetooth-Gerät, um den Verbindungsvorgang zu
starten. In der Regel erfolgt dies über ein Verbindungsmenü oder ein „Setup“-Menü: Es wird die
Option ausgewählt, nach „The Monkey“ zu suchen, das sich im Verbindungsmodus befindet.
Schritt 3
Wählen Sie „The Monkey“ aus den verfügbaren Bluetooth-Geräten aus (Kopplungscode „0000“ falls verlangt).
Wenn die Verbindung erfolgreich war, müsste Ihr Lautsprecher einsatzbereit sein ().
Wenn die Verbindung fehlgeschlagen ist, schalten Sie bitte den Lautsprecher aus und danach wieder
ein. Führen Sie den Verbindungsvorgang beginnend bei Schritt 1 erneut durch.
EINEN ANRUF TÄTIGEN
Schritt 1
Verwenden Sie die Tastatur des Mobiltelefons, um die Telefonnummer zu wählen.
Schritt 2
Drücken Sie die „Anruftaste“ oder „OK“ auf dem Mobiltelefon.
Das Mobiltelefon startet den Anruf und überträgt ihn auf den Lautsprecher.
EINEN ANRUF ANNEHMEN
Schritt 1
Geht ein Anruf ein, während Sie per Streaming Musik hören, wird der Klingelton des Telefons durch
den Lautsprecher wiedergegeben.
Schritt 2
Drücken Sie Drehknopf B, um den Anruf anzunehmen.
EINEN ANRUF BEENDEN
Verwenden Sie eine der folgenden Methoden, um einen Anruf zu beenden:
Methode 1
Drücken Sie Drehknopf B, um einen Anruf vom Lautsprecher aus zu beenden.
Methode 2
Beenden Sie den Anruf über die Tastatur des Mobiltelefons.
Nach Beendigung des Anrufs müsste der Lautsprecher automatisch wieder die Musikwiedergabe per
Streaming fortsetzen.
ABSPIELEN/PAUSE
Drücken Sie im Lautsprechermodus einmal Drehknopf B, um Musik abzuspielen oder die
Musikauswahl zu pausieren.
MUSIKAUSWAHL VORHERIGER TITEL/NÄCHSTER TITEL
Drehen Sie Drehknopf B im Uhrzeigersinn oder gegen den Uhrzeigersinn, um zum vorherigen oder
nächsten ausgewählten Titel zu springen.
UKWRADIO
Um das UKW-Radio zu benutzen, drücken Sie Drehknopf A, um vom Lautsprechermodus in
den UKW-Modus umzuschalten () (drücken Sie kurz, um wieder vom UKW-Modus in den
Lautsprechermodus umzuschalten).
Das weiße/rote LED-Licht zeigt an, dass sich The Monkey im UKW-Modus befindet.
Drücken Sie Drehknopf B und halten Sie es 2 Sekunden lang gedrückt (), um das automatische
Scannen nach Radiosendern zu starten.
Sie hören jeweils 3 Sekunden von jeder verfügbaren Station. Um das Scannen zu stoppen, drücken
Sie Drehknopf B erneut 2 Sekunden lang ().
> Drehen Sie Drehknopf B im Uhrzeigersinn, bis es blockiert ist (45°), um nach der nächsten Station
zu suchen. Sobald der Drehknopf losgelassen wird, kehrt es wieder in die Mittelstellung zurück.
> Drehen Sie Drehknopf B gegen den Uhrzeigersinn, um die vorherige Station zu suchen.
Drücken Sie Drehknopf B kurz zum Abspielen oder Pausieren.
LAUTSTÄRKE EINSTELLEN
Im Anrufmodus oder Musikabspielmodus können Sie die Lautstärke durch Drehen des Rades A
einstellen. Bei Erreichen der maximalen Lautstärke hören Sie einen Ton ().
AKKU AUFLADEN
Das vollständige Aufladen erfordert circa 3 Stunden. Das Gerät kann über den Computer unter
Verwendung des Kabels USB auf Micro-USB (im Lieferumfang enthalten) oder über einen AC-
Adapter mit USB-Buchse (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten) aufgeladen werden.
Das Aufladen des Akkus dauert bis zu 5 Stunden.
Wenn die Akkuladung weniger als 5% beträgt, schaltet sich das weiße oder blaue Licht aus und ein
rotes Licht beginnt zu blinken.
Während des Ladevorgangs von The Monkey ist das rote Licht immer eingeschaltet.
Wird The Monkey während des Aufladens des Akkus verwendet, blinkt das blaue Licht (falls im
Lautsprechermodus) bzw. das weiße Licht (falls im UKW-Radio-Modus).
Es ist immer möglich, den Ladezustand des Akkus zu überprüfen, während The Monkey mit einem
Gerät verbunden ist. Auf dem Gerät erscheint eine spezifische Anzeige.
BEFESTIGUNGSSYSTEM
Die Antenne von The Monkey ermöglicht die Befestigung an vielen verschiedenen Stützen, so dass
Sie The Monkey nach Lust und Laune kreativ verwenden können.
Für einen optimalen Halt empfehlen wir Ihnen, The Monkey an Stützen zu befestigen, deren
Durchmesser größer als 4,5 cm ist.

Um ein unbeabsichtigtes Loslösen von der Stütze zu vermeiden, überprüfen Sie immer, dass The
Monkey sicher befestigt ist.

• Wurde der Lautsprecher über einen längeren Zeitraum nicht benutzt oder ist die Batterie erschöpft,
kann eine Verzögerung von ein paar Sekunden eintreten, bevor sich die Anzeigelampe einschaltet.
Akku
Dieses Produkt enthält einen nicht austauschbaren wiederaufladbaren Akku. Bei der Verwendung des
Produktes ist Folgendes zu beachten:
• Trennen Sie den Akku niemals vom Produkt, da dies das Produkt beschädigen könnte.
• Die Akkuleistung kann sich im Laufe der Zeit und durch die Nutzung verringern.
• Das vollständige Aufladen des Lautsprechers erfordert circa 3 Stunden, kann jedoch je nach
verfügbarem Strom vom gewählten Gerät länger dauern.
• Für das Aufladen des Akkus muss ein zugelassenes und vom Hersteller bereitgestelltes Ladegerät
verwendet werden. Die Verwendung eines nicht zugelassenen Ladegerätes kann einen Brand, eine
Explosion, das Austreten von Gasen oder Flüssigkeiten und andere Gefahren zur Folge haben und
ferner die Lebensdauer oder die Leistung des Akkus verringern.
• Reinigen Sie das Produkt nicht, während es aufgeladen wird. Trennen Sie das Produkt stets vom
Ladegerät, bevor Sie es reinigen.
• Bewahren Sie das Produkt bei Temperaturen zwischen 15°C und 25°C (zwischen 59°F und 77°F) auf.
Höhere oder niedrigere Temperaturen können die Leistung und die Lebensdauer des Akkus verringern
oder einen vorübergehenden Betriebsausfall zur Folge haben. Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht bei
Temperaturen unterhalb des Gefrierpunkts, da dies eine erhebliche Verringerung der Akkuleistung zur
Folge haben kann.
• Setzen Sie den Akku keiner Hitze aus und setzen Sie ihn nicht in Brand, da er sonst explodieren kann.
• Verwenden Sie das Produkt niemals mit beschädigtem Akku. Es könnte zu einer Explosion und/oder
Unfällen kommen.
• Verwenden Sie niemals ein beschädigtes Ladegerät. Es könnte zu einer Explosion und/oder Unfällen
kommen.
• Die Akku-Lebensdauer schwankt je nach den Bedingungen bei der Verwendung, den
Umgebungsfaktoren, den verwendeten Funktionen des Produktes und den Geräten, mit denen es
verwendet wird.
AUF EIN JAHR BESCHRÄNKTE GEWÄHRLEISTUNG
Palomar garantiert, dass dieses Produkt bei Verwendung unter normalen Bedingungen über einen Zeitraum
von einem (1) Jahr ab dem Kaufdatum frei von Material- und Verarbeitungsfehlern ist. Bei Funktionsstörungen
des Produktes wird empfohlen, es in das Geschäft zurückzubringen, in dem es gekauft wurde.
Sollte das Problem nicht behoben werden und sollte aufgrund eines Fehlers oder einer Funktionsstörung
in der Garantiezeit Kundendienst erforderlich sein, so wird Palomar das Produkt nach eigenem Ermessen
reparieren oder kostenlos ersetzen. Dem Produkt muss ein Kaufbeleg mit Angabe des Kaufdatums beigefügt

Diese Garantie deckt keine Schäden, die verursacht wurden durch: unsachgemäßen Gebrauch oder
Missbrauch; Unfall; Verbindung mit nicht zugelassenen Zubehörteilen; Änderungen des Produkts;
unsachgemäße Installation; nicht zugelassene Reparaturen oder Modifikationen; unsachgemäße Verwendung
der elektrischen Stromversorgung; Spannungsverluste; Fallen des Produktes; Funktionsstörungen oder

gilt nicht für Produkte, die Modifikationen oder Änderungen erfordern, um in einem anderen Land als dem, in
dem sie entworfen, hergestellt und genehmigt und/oder zugelassen wurden, verwendet werden zu können,
und ebensowenig für die Reparatur von Produkten, die durch diese Modifikationen beschädigt wurden.

GUIDA INTRODUTTIVA
Disimballare con attenzione l’apparecchio. Estrarre tutti gli accessori dalla scatola.
Prima di mettere in funzione l’apparecchio verificare la presenza dei componenti:

ACCENSIONE
Quando The Monkey è spento premere e tenere premuta la ruota A ().
Si accenderà la luce LED rosso/blu.
SPEGNIMENTO
Quando The Monkey è acceso premere e tenere premuta la ruota A ().
ACCOPPIAMENTO
L’accoppiamento è la procedura che stabilisce un link criptato tra The Monkey e i dispositivi
Bluetooth.
Punto 1
Accendere The Monkey: Accertarsi che la luce LED blu/rosso sia accesa. La luce blu/rosso indica
che The Monkey è in modalità speaker.
Punto 2
Seguire le istruzioni per l’uso del vostro dispositivo Bluetooth per iniziare la procedura di
accoppiamento. In genere questo avviene tramite un menu “ Connessione” o “Setup” da cui si
sceglie l’opzione di ricercare di “The Monkey” che è in modalità accoppiamento.
Punto 3
Selezionare “The Monkey” dai dispositivi Bluetooth disponibili (codice di connessione “0000”
se richiesto).
Se la connessione va a buon fine, il Vostro speaker dovrebbe essere pronto all’uso().
Se la connessione non è andata a buon fine spegnere lo speaker e riaccenderlo. Ripartire dal Punto 1
e ripetere la procedura di accoppiamento.
EFFETTUARE UNA CHIAMATA
Punto 1
Utilizzare la tastiera del telefono cellulare per comporre il numero.
Punto 2
Premere il tasto “Invio” o “OK” sul telefono cellulare. Il telefono inizierà la chiamata e la trasferirà allo
speaker.
RISPONDERE A UNA CHIAMATA
Punto 1
Se c’è una chiamata in arrivo mentre state ascoltando musica in streaming la suoneria di chiamata
sarà riprodotta attraverso lo speaker.
Punto 2
Premere la Ruota B per rispondere alla chiamata.
TERMINARE UNA CHIAMATA
Utilizzare un dei seguenti metodi per terminare una chiamata:
Metodo 1
Premere la Ruota B per terminare una chiamata dallo speaker.
Metodo 2
Terminare la chiamata dalla tastiera del telefono.
Dopo aver terminato la chiamata la riproduzione in streaming della musica dallo speaker dovrebbe
riprendere automaticamente.
RIPRODUZIONE/PAUSA MUSICA
In modalità speaker, premere una volta la Ruota B per riprodurre o mettere in pausa
la selezione musicale.
SELEZIONE MUSICALE PRECEDENTE/SUCCESSIVA
Girare la Ruota B in senso orario o anti-orario per passare alla selezione precedente o successiva.
RADIO FM
Per utilizzare la Radio FM premere la Ruota A per passare da modalità speaker a modalità FM ()
(premere brevemente per passare di nuovo da modalità FM a modalità speaker).
La luce LED bianco/rosso indica che The Monkey è in modalità FM.
Premere e tenere premuta la Ruota B per 2 secondi () per iniziare la scansione automatica delle
stazioni.
Saranno riprodotti 3 secondi di ogni stazione disponibile. Per arrestare la scansione premere di nuovo
la Ruota B per 2 secondi ().
> Ruotare la Ruota B in senso orario fino alla posizione di blocco (45°) per cercare la stazione
successiva. Al rilascio la ruota scatterà e ritornerà in posizione centrale.
> Ruotare la Ruota B in senso anti-orario per cercare la stazione precedente.
Premere brevemente la Ruota B per riprodurre o mettere in pausa.
REGOLAZIONE DEL VOLUME
In modalità chiamata o di riproduzione il volume può essere regolato ruotando la Ruota A.
Al raggiungimento del livello massimo del volume si udirà un segnale acustico ().
CARICA DELLA BATTERIA
La carica completa richiede circa 3 ore. L’apparecchio può essere caricato tramite computer
utilizzando il cavo USB- Micro USB (incluso) o tramite un adattatore CA con presa USB
(non incluso).
La carica della batteria dura fino a 5 ore.
Quando la carica della batteria è inferiore al 5% la luce bianca o blu si spegne e si accende una luce
rossa intermittente.
Durante la carica di The Monkey la luce rossa è sempre accesa.
Se The Monkey è in uso durante il caricamento della batteria la luce blu (se in modalità speaker) o la
luce bianca (se in modalità radio FM) sono lampeggianti.
E’ sempre possibile controllare il livello della batteria mentre The Monkey è collegato a un dispositivo.
Un indicatore specifico di livello comparirà sul dispositivo.
SISTEMA DI AGGANCIO
L’antenna di The Monkey consente di agganciarlo a molti supporti diversi, permettendone un utilizzo
libero e creativo.

Per una tenuta ottimale raccomandiano di agganciarlo a supporti di diametro maggiore di 4,5 cm.
Per evitare lo sganciamento involontario dal supporto verificare sempre che sia fissato saldamente.

Uso del prodotto

Batteria
Questo prodotto contiene una batteria ricaricabile non sostituibile. Durante l’uso del prodotto atte-
nersi alle seguenti indicazioni:
• Non separare mai la batteria dal prodotto perchè potrebbe danneggiarlo.
• Le prestazioni della batteria possono diminuire nel tempo e con l’uso.
• La carica completa dello speaker richiede circa 3 ore ma può richiedere più tempo secondo la
corrente disponibile dal dispositivo scelto.
• Nel ricaricare la batteria utilizzare un caricatore approvato fornito dal produttore. L’uso di un
caricabatteria non approvato può causare incendio, esplosione, perdite ed altri pericoli e può
ridurre la vita o le prestazioni della batteria.
• Non pulire il prodotto mentre è in carica. Scollegare sempre il caricatore prima di pulire il
prodotto.
• Conservare il prodotto a temperature 15°C ~ 25°C (59°F ~ 77°F). Temperature più alte o più
basse possono ridurre le prestazioni e la durata della batteria o possono causare un mancato
funzionamento temporaneo. Non utilizzare il prodotto a temperature sotto-zero, potrebbe
causare una sensibile riduzione delle prestazioni della batteria.
• Non sottoporre a calore o incendiare la batteria, potrebbe esplodere.
• Non utilizzare il prodotto con una batteria danneggiata. Potrebbe esplodere e/o provocare

GARANZIA LIMITATA DI UN ANNO
La Palomar garantisce che questo prodotto è esente difetti di materiali e di lavorazione, in condizioni
di normale utilizzo, per un periodo di un (1) anno dalla data d’acquisto. In caso di malfunzionamento
del prodotto, è consigliabile riportarlo al negozio dove è stato acquistato.
Qualora la questione non venisse risolta e fosse richiesta assistenza a causa di un qualsiasi difetto
o malfunzionamento durante il periodo di garanzia, la Palomar provvederà alla riparazione o, a sua
discrezione, alla sostituzione gratuita del prodotto. Il prodotto deve includere una prova d’acquisto,

PRISE EN MAIN
Déballez soigneusement l’appareil. Ôtez tous les accessoires de la boîte.
Avant d’allumer l’appareil, contrôlez la présence des composants suivants :

MARCHE
Lorsque The Monkey est éteint, appuyer longuement sur la molette A ().
Le témoin LED rouge/bleu s’allume.
ARRÊT
Lorsque The Monkey est allumé, appuyer longuement sur la molette A ().
PAIRAGE
Le pairage est le processus qui établit une connexion cryptée entre The Monkey et les
appareils Bluetooth.
Point 1
Allumez The Monkey : assurez-vous que le témoin LED bleu/rouge s’allume. La couleur bleue/rouge
indique que The Monkey est en mode haut-parleur.
Point 2
Suivez les instructions pour l’utilisation de votre appareil Bluetooth pour lancer le processus de
pairage. Généralement, cela se produit via un menu « Connexion » ou « Configuration », à partir
duquel vous sélectionnerez l’option de recherche de The Monkey, qui se trouve en mode de pairage.
Point 3
Sélectionnez « The Monkey » parmi les appareils Bluetooth disponibles (code de connexion «0000»,
si demandé).
Si la connexion réussit, votre haut-parleur devrait être prêt à l’emploi ().
Si la connexion échoue, éteindre et rallumer le haut-parleur. Recommencer à partir du Point 1 et
refaire toute la procédure de pairage.
FAIRE UN APPEL
Point 1
Utilisez le clavier du téléphone pour composer le numéro.
Point 2
Appuyez sur la touche « Entrée » ou « OK » sur votre téléphone portable. Le téléphone commencera
l’appel et le transférera au haut-parleur.
RÉPONDRE À UN APPEL
Point 1
Si vous recevez un appel pendant que vous écoutez de la musique diffusée en continu, le haut-
parleur reproduira la sonnerie.
Point 2
Appuyez sur la molette B pour répondre à l’appel.
TERMINER UN APPEL
Utilisez l’une des méthodes suivantes pour terminer un appel :
Méthode 1
Appuyez sur la molette B pour terminer un appel à partir du haut-parleur..
Méthode 2
Terminez l’appel à l’aide du clavier du téléphone.
Une fois terminée la conversation, la diffusion en continu de la musique par le haut-parleur devrait
redémarrer automatiquement.
LECTURE/PAUSE DE LA MUSIQUE
En mode « haut-parleur », appuyez une fois sur la molette B pour reproduire ou mettre
en pause la musique sélectionnée.
SÉLECTION DE LA MUSIQUE PRÉCÉDENTE/SUIVANTE
Tournez la molette B dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre, ou dans le sens contraire,
pour reproduire la piste précédente ou suivante.
RADIO FM
Pour utiliser la radio FM, appuyez sur la molette A pour passer du mode « haut-parleur » au mode «
FM » () (appuyez brièvement pour passer de nouveau du mode « FM » au mode « haut-parleur »).
Le témoin LED blanc/rouge indique que The Monkey est en mode « FM ».
Appuyez sur la molette B pendant 2 secondes () pour commencer le balayage automatique
des stations. Chaque station disponible sera reproduite pendant 3 secondes. Pour interrompre le
balayage, appuyez de nouveau sur la molette B pendant 2 secondes ().
> Faites tourner la molette B dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à la position de
verrouillage (45 °) pour chercher la station suivante. Lorsque vous relâchez la molette, elle reviendra
sur la position centrale.
> Faites tourner la molette B dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d’une montre pour rechercher la
station précédente.
Appuyez de nouveau sur la molette B pour reproduire ou mettre en pause la musique.
RÉGLAGE DU VOLUME
En mode « appel » ou « reproduction », le volume peut être réglé en tournant la molette A.
Un signal sonore () indiquera que le niveau maximum du volume a été atteint.
RECHARGE DE LA BATTERIE
La charge complète de la batterie demande environ 3 heures. L’appareil peut être chargé via votre
ordinateur, en utilisant le câble USB/Micro-USB (inclus), ou via un adaptateur secteur avec prise
USB (non inclus).
La charge de la batterie dure jusqu’à 5 heures environ.
Lorsque la charge de la batterie est inférieure à 5 %, le témoin blanc ou bleu s’éteint et un témoin
rouge clignotant s’allume.
Pendant la charge de The Monkey, le témoin rouge est toujours allumé.
Si The Monkey est utilisé pendant la charge de la batterie, le témoin bleu (en mode « haut-parleur »)
ou blanc (en mode « radio FM ») clignote.
Le niveau de la batterie peut être toujours contrôlé pendant que The Monkey est connecté à un
appareil. L’appareil en question affichera un indicateur spécifique de niveau.
SYSTÈME D’ACCROCHAGE
L’antenne de The Monkey permet de l’accrocher à de nombreux supports, ce qui permet un usage
libre et créatif.

Pour assurer une fixation optimale, il est conseillé de l’accrocher à des supports ayant un diamètre
supérieur à 4,5 cm.
Pour éviter tout décrochage involontaire du support, vérifiez toujours qu’il est fixé solidement.

Batterie

res and operation of your new The Monkey.

GETTING STARTED
Unpack the unit carefully.
Remove all the accessories from the box.
Before setting up the unit, verify that the following contents are present:

TURN ON
When The Monkey is off press and hold wheel A ().
The blue/red LED light will turn on.
TURN OFF
When The Monkey is on press and hold wheel A ().
PAIRING
Pairing is the process of establishing encrypted link between The Monkey
and Bluetooth devices.
Step 1
Turn on The Monkey. Make sure the blue
LED light is on.
Step 2
Follow the operating instruction of your Bluetooth device to start the pairing process. Typically, this is
done by going to a “Connect” or “Setup” menu and then selecting the option to search for
“The Monkey” that is still in the pairing mode.
Step 3
Select “The Monkey” from the available Bluetooth devices (connection code “0000” if required).
If the connection is successful, your speaker should be ready to use ().
If the pairing is unsuccessful, please turn off the speaker and turn it on again. Then, return to Step 1
and perform the pairing procedure again.
MAKE A CALL
Step 1
Use the mobile phone’s keypad to dial the phone number.
Step 2
Press mobile phone’s “Send” or “OK” key. The mobile phone initiates the call and transfers the call
from the mobile phone to the speaker.
ANSWER A CALL
Step 1
If there is an incoming call while you are listening to streaming music, you will hear your ring tone
through the speaker.
Step 2
Press Wheel B to answer the call.
END A CALL
Use either of the following methods to end a cal:
Method 1
Press Wheel B to end a call from the speaker.
Method 2
End a call from the mobile phone’s keypad.
After you end the call, the music should start playing and streaming from the speaker again.
PLAY/PAUSE MUSIC
In speaker mode, press Wheel B once to play or pause music.
PREVIOUS/NEXT SONG
Turn Wheel B clockwise or counter- clockwise skipping to next or previous song.
FM RADIO
To use the FM Radio press Wheel A to switch from speaker mode to FM mode () (short press to
switch from FM mode to speaker mode again).
White LED indicates that The Monkey is on and in FM mode.
Press and hold Wheel B for
2 seconds () to start the automatic
radio stations scan.
You will hear 3 seconds of every available station. To stop the scanning press
Wheel B again for 2 seconds ().
> Turn Wheel B clockwise until it blocks (45°) to search for next station. As soon as the wheel is
released it will snap back to center position.
> Turn Wheel B counter-clockwise to find the previous station.
Short press Wheel B to pause and play.
ADJUST VOLUME
In call mode or music mode you may adjust volume by rotating Wheel A.
Upon reaching the maximum volume level you will hear a sound ().
BATTERY CHARGING
A full charge requires approximately 3 hours. Unit can be charged by using the USB to Micro USB
cord (included) through a computer or AC adapter with USB jack (not included).
Battery charge lasts up to 5 hours.
When the battery charge is less than 5% a blinking red light will turn on.
While The Monkey is charging the red light is always on.
If The Monkey is used while charging the blue light (if in speaker mode) or the white light (if in FM
radio mode) will blink.
It is always possible to check battery charge level while The Monkey is connected to a device. A
specific indicator will appear on the device.

FASTENING SYSTEM
The Monkey’s antenna lets you fasten it to many different supports, allowing for free and creative use.
For an optimal hold we recommend fastening The Monkey to supports with a diameter greater than
4 cm.
To avoid it slipping from its support always verify that The Monkey is securely fastened.

delay of a few seconds before the indicator light shows
Battery
This product has an irreplaceable rechargeable battery inside. Therefore, when using the product,
make sure to adhere to the following:
• Never separate the battery from the product as this may damage the product.
• The battery performance may be reduced over time with usage.
• The speaker requires approximately 3 hours to full charge but may take longer depending on the
available current from your chosen device.
• In recharging the battery, make sure to use an approved charger provided by the manufacturer. Use
of a non-approved charger may cause fire, explosion, leakage, and other hazards may also reduce the
life time or performance of the battery.
• Do not clean the product when it is being charged. Always unplug the charger first before cleaning
the product.
• Store the battery at temperatures of 15°C ~ 25°C (59°F ~ 77°F). Higher or lower temperatures
may reduce the capacity and life of the battery, or may cause temporary non-operation. Do not
use the product in sub-zero temperature, because it may cause serious reduction of the battery
performance.
• If you apply heat to the battery or throw it into fire, it may explode.
• Do not use the product with a damaged battery. It may explode and/or cause accidents.
• Never use a damaged charger. It may explode and/or cause accidents.
• Battery life may vary depending on conditions, environmental factors, functions of the product in
use, and devices used with it.
ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Palomar warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal
use and conditions, for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase.
Should this product fail to function in a satisfactory manner, it is best to first return it to the store
where it was originally purchased.
Should this fail to resolve the matter and service still be required by reason of any defect or malfun-
ction during the warranty period, Palomar will repair or, at its discretion, replace this product without
charge. The product must include proof of purchase, including date of purchase.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any
unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product; improper installation; unauthorized repairs or
modifications; improper use of electrical/power supply; loss of power; dropped product; malfunction
or damage of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer’s recommended maintenance;
transportation damage; theft; neglect; vandalism; or environmental conditions; loss of use during the
period the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other conditions
whatsoever that are beyond the control of Palomar.
This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the
product is purchased. A product that requires modifications or adoption to enable it to operate in any
other country than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized,
or repair of products damaged by these modifications is not covered under this warranty.
THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY.
THERE SHALL BE NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY
IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS OR ANY OTHER OBLIGATION
ON THE PART OF THE COMPANY WITH RESPECT TO PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS
WARRANTY. PALOMAR SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUEN-
TIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THIS WARRANTY REQUIRE MORE
THAN THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY PART OR PARTS WHICH ARE FOUND TO
BE DEFECTIVE WITHIN THE EFFECTIVE PERIOD OF THE WARRANTY. NO REFUNDS WILL
BE GIVEN. IF REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR DEFECTIVE MATERIALS ARE NOT AVAILABLE,
PALOMAR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE PRODUCT SUBSTITUTIONS IN LIEU OF REPAIR
OR REPLACEMENT.

入门指南
小心地拆开设备包装。从盒子里取出所有配件。

使用说明

开机
The Monkey 处于关机状态时，按下并按住旋钮 A ()。

The Monkey 处于开机状态时，按下并按住旋钮 A ().
配对
配对是在 The Monkey
和蓝牙设备之间建立一个加密链接的程序。
步骤 1
打开 The Monkey: 确保 LED 灯亮起。蓝色 LED 灯指示 The Monkey 处于扬声器模式下。
步骤 2
按照蓝牙设备的使用说明进行操作以便开始配对程序。通常是通过一个“连接”或“设置”菜单进
行，在菜单中选择搜索选项搜索处于配对模式下的 “The Monkey”。
步骤 3
从可用的蓝牙设备中选择 “The Monkey” （如有必要，连接代码为“0000”）。

执行呼叫
步骤 1
使用手机键盘拨打号码。
步骤 2

应答呼叫
步骤 1
如果呼叫在播放音乐时到达，呼叫铃声将通过扬声器播放。
步骤 2
按下旋钮 B，应答呼叫。
结束呼叫
可使用下列方法中的一种来结束呼叫：
方法 1
按下旋钮 B ，结束扬声器的呼叫。
方法 2
通过电话键盘结束呼叫。
呼叫结束后，扬声器中的音乐将自动恢复。
播放/暂停音乐
在扬声器模式下，按一下旋钮 在扬声器模式下，按一下旋钮 B ，播放或暂停所选的音乐。
上一个/下一个音乐选择
顺时针或逆时针转动旋钮 B ，转到上一个或下一个选择。
FM 电台
使用 FM 电台时，须按下旋钮 A 从扬声器模式切换到 FM 电台模式 () （短按可从 FM 电台模式
切回扬声器模式）。
白色 LED 灯指示 The Monkey 处于 FM 模式下。
按下并按住旋钮 B 两秒 () 开始自动扫描电台。
每个扫描出的电台将被播放 3 秒。重新按下旋钮 B 两秒可停止扫描 ().
> 顺时针旋转旋钮 B 直到锁定位置
(45°) ，搜索下一个电台。松开旋钮，它会回到中心位置。
> 逆时针旋转旋钮 B 搜索上一个电台。
短按旋钮 B ，播放或暂停。
调节音量
呼叫或播放模式下，可以通过旋钮 A来调节音量。

电池充电
完全充满电需要约 3 小时。本设备可以通过使用 USB - Micro USB 电线（包括在内）连接电脑或

安全标准的认证和批准
FCC 符合性声明
本设备已经过测试并确认符合 FCC 标准第 15 部分。在使用上受到下列两个条件的限制：
(1) 不应引起电磁干扰。

• 重新定向或重新定位接收天线。
• 从接收器上卸下本设备。
• 将设备连接到与接收器连接的电路不同的电 路的插座上
• 咨询您的经销商或有经验的无线电/电视技术人员。
关于射频辐射曝露的FCC声明
本设备符合对于不受控制环境的 FCC 辐射曝露的限制。最终用户必须遵循特定的操作说明， 以便
满足射频曝露的要求。这个发射器所用的天线不应与另一天线或发射器同时操作, 除非符合多个发
生器产品的 FCC 程序。
FCC警告

本设备及其天线不得与任何其它天线或发射器一起放置或使用。
CE符合性声明
根据 RED 法令（2014/53/EC），本产品标有 CE 标志。帕洛玛声明，本产品符合指令第2014/53/
EC 号法令及其他相关规定的基本要求。
加拿大工业符合性声明
本设备符合加拿大工业标准，无需获得许可证。在使用上受到下列两个条件的限制：
(1) 不应引起电磁干扰。
(2) 应接受收到的任何干扰，包括可能危及其运作的干预。
WEEE（电子废物处理）
位于产品上、信息上或包装上的方块符号提醒用户，所有的电气和电子产品、电池和蓄电池在其寿
命结束时必须被送至专门的收集点处理。这一要求适用于欧盟和具有单独收集系统的其他地区。为
了防止不受控制的废物处置对环境或人类健康造成的可能的损害，要求使用者不要在未分类的市政
废物中处置这些产品，而应将其送往正规的回收点。

产品的存放和使用
• 远离可能损坏产品机械部件的灰尘。
• 不要在高温下存放本产品，否则可能会减少电子设备的使用寿命、 损坏电池和/或熔化产品的塑

• 不要在低温下存放本产品。突然的温度变化会导致电子线路的冷凝和损坏。

产品用途
• 不要对产品造成冲击或者用锋利的工具去接触它，否则可能会损坏它。

• 不要让儿童或动物接触本产品。他们可能会损害产品。这不是玩具。
• 在禁止无线通信的任何地方，如医院或飞机上，必须关闭本设备并且不得使用本产品。在禁止无

电池
T本产品包括一个不可替换的充电电池。使用产品时, 请遵循以下指示：

一年有限保修
帕洛玛保证，本产品在正常使用的情况下, 从购买之日起的 (1) 年内不存在材料和工艺方面的缺
陷。如果产品出现故障，建议将其送往购买它的商店。
如果该问题未得到解决并且由于在保修期内出现的任何缺陷或故障而需要帮助，帕洛玛将免
费修理或酌情更换该商品。产品必须包括购买凭证，并注明购买日期。请通过电话：+39 (0)

该保修不包括以下原因造成的损坏：误用或滥用；事故；与未经授权的配件连接；产品被变更；
安装不当；未经授权的修理或修改；电源滥用；电压损耗；产品摔落；因不遵守制造商建议的维
护而造成的操作部件的运行不好或损坏；因运输造成的损坏；盗窃；疏忽；破坏；环境条件；产
品位于维修中心或等待备件期间无法使用；或任何其他不属于帕洛玛控制的条件。
本保修受购买产品所在国的规定限制。为了使产品能在设计、制造、批准和/或授权以外的另一个
国家可用，需要修改或变更产品，不在保修范围内，因为这些修改不是修理损坏的产品。
这里所述的保修是唯一并专属的。对于保修所涵盖的产品, 本公司没有其他明示或默示的适销性或
适用性担保或任何其他义务。帕洛玛在任何情况下都不应承担附带的、相应的或特殊的损害赔偿
责任。在任何情况下，本保修都将会维修或更换任何处于保修期内的缺陷部件。将不予退款。如
果没有可用的缺陷材料的更换部件，帕洛玛将保留在修理或代替地区更换产品的权利。
本保修不适用于已经被打开、被使用、被修理、被重新包装和/或被密封的产品，包括但不限于通
过网上拍卖销售的此类产品和/或批发经销商或剩余商品销售的此类产品。在未经帕洛玛明确书面
同意的情况下对产品或部分进行的任何修理、替换、更改或修改，均使得任何保修立即停止。此
保修为用户提供具体的法律权利，并且可能提供其他因国家而异的权利。由于具体规定，某些限
制和排除条款可能不适用 。
