3CAPTURE UNIQUE ANGLES & SHOTS
The ActionGRIP 3-N-1 Action Camera Mount Kit allows you to assemble one out of three different Action Camera Mounts, quickly and easily so you can position
your camera exactly where you want it to get that perfect camera angle and capture the action from a unique angle during your shoot. With your imagination and
this versatile kit, you can capture or shoot from just about any angle or position you can dream up.
Build an ACTIONGRIP SHORTY for shots
requiring an extreme low profile camera
angle close to the mounting surface. Ideal
for vehicle roofs, hoods, trunk lids. Camera
can be tilted forward and backwards and
rotated side to side.
Build an ACTIONGRIP SINGLE KNUCKLE when
you want the camera closer to the surface but need a
higher range of adjustment than the ActionGrip Shorty
provides. You can tilt, turn, and rotate your camera to
get your camera back to parallel even if the suction
cup is mounted at an angle to the camera plane.
Build an ACTIONGRIP DOUBLE KNUCKLE, when you want
the camera higher or further away from the suction cup, to peer
over, around or under an obstruction in front of your camera or
for use inside of a vehicle when attached to a sloping windshield.
The ActionGrip Double Knuckle provides tilt, turn, and rotate in
two different locations for optimum positioning of your camera.
Works with GoPro’s Hero® cameras & compatible with any camera with standard 1/4-20 mounting stud. Simply change out the included ball assembly.
Thoroughly clean the smooth, flat, non-porous
mounting surface
. The surface should be dry and free
of any scratches or debris.
Position the
Suction Cup Lever in the “down”
position. Position the
Suction Cup in your mounting
location. In order to remove the mount easily, PanaVise
recommends that the
Suction Cup Release Tab be
at the bottom of the installation and that the
Mounting Arm moves freely in a vertical line.
Push the
Suction Cup firmly against the mounting surface
(the Suction Cup Lever should be in the “down”position).
PRESS the Suction Cup Button completely .
PULL the
Suction Cup Lever up and over the Button . You will
feel the
Button move out during this procedure; this action
locks the
Suction Cup into place.

INSTALLING SUCTION CUP MOUNT TO SURFACE
NOTE
The mounting surface and the
Suction Cup should be clean and
dry. Wipe with a clean, damp
cloth and let dry completely.
The Suction Cup Mount should
be installed at room temperature
(avoid extremes of heat or cold)
. Do
not moisten the Suction Cup.
Install camera (weighing up to 3 pounds)
onto the 1/4-20
Mounting Stud .
Hold the camera in place and tighten
the
Lock Ring firmly.
NOTE: Review your camera’s manual
for mounting stud length requirements.
To release the
Suction Cup , move
the Suction Cup Lever back into its
“down”position. Lift the
Suction Cup
Release Tab
to help break the hold.

Knob for normal use.

GP Ball Allen
Wrench
, to tighten even
more for an extreme hold.
Remove the
Camera Ball
and
Lock Ring
from the mounting
arm assembly.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Begin with Assembly A. Take the Suction
Cup Base
, remove the Mounting Arm
Adjustment Knob
, leave Carriage
Bolt
, and Flat Washer
separated from the Uprights.
Install
T-Mount Shorty,
Yoke
onto the Suction Cup
base
with the serrations of the Mounting
Yoke matched up with the Suction Cup’s Serrated Upright.
Fit the
Carriage Bolt square back
into Square Hole Upright. Install the
Flat Washer and tighten the
Mounting Arm Adjustment
Knob
.
Install the
Lock Ring ,
onto the camera mounting
stud with the “Camera Side”
lettering facing up.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Begin with Assembly A. Take the Suction Cup Base ,
remove the
Mounting Arm Adjustment Knob , leave
Carriage Bolt , and Flat Washer separated from the
Uprights.
See Figure 1.1
Install complete Single Knuckle, Mounting Arm,
Assembly C onto the Suction Cup base with the
serrations of the Mounting Yoke matched up with the
Suction Cup’s Serrated Upright.

Fit the
Carriage Bolt square back
into squared hole upright. Install the
Flat Washer and tighten the
Mounting Arm Adjustment
Knob
.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Begin with Assembly A. Take the Suction Cup Base ,
remove the
Mounting Arm Adjustment Knob , leave
Carriage Bolt , and Flat Washer separated from the
uprights.
See Figure 1.1
Take the Single Knuckle, Mounting Arm, Assembly C
and remove the
Low-Profile Dovetail Yoke from the
bottom.
See Hand Position in TIPS .
Take the second Knuckle assembly from
Assembly B
and attach the two knuckle assemblies together with the
Aluminum Double Dovetail . Tighten all the knobs to
test the ball operation and hold.
Install Double Knuckle assembly onto the
Low Profile Ball
Yoke and then install complete assembly onto the
Suction Cup base with the serrations of the Mounting
Yoke matched up with the Suction Cup’s Serrated Upright.
See Figure 1.3
Fit the
Carriage Bolt square back
into Square Hole Upright. Install the
Flat Washer and tighten the
Mounting Arm Adjustment Knob .

It is 71 /2 turns on the
Knuckle Knob to
remove the ball.
The easiest way to hold
knuckle assembly for
attaching new
Yoke or
Camera Ball , without
pieces falling apart, is to
cup assembly in your
hand with ball towards your
fingers and assemble there.

Install
GoPro
Camera.
UNIVERSAL TIPS:
Check manufacturer’s maximum stud length
for cameras. PanaVise Maximum length
available on the 1/4-20 stud is 5.5mm. (.216in)
How to use Lock Ring to tighten camera.
Screw on camera, or adapter. Tighten
Lock
Ring up to base of camera to secure.
Only install yoke with serrations on suction
cup arms matching up with serrations on yoke.
Do not bend, fold or twist suction cup.
Wipe suction cup with a clean damp cloth
and dry before use, to clean dust and
moisture off.
Hand tighten
knobs , , only.
Do not over tighten any knobs when ball/yoke
is not in place.
Knobs for A, B, C & E need washers , ,
to tighten knobs effectively. Extra washers ,
& supplied.
Save all unused parts for later use.
