Soup Kettle

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing a Pantheon Catering Equipment product.
In this booklet you ill find instructions for safe operation so please
read carefully and retain for future reference.
Warnings and Precautions
The follo ing arnings and precautions are important and must be
observed:
Never immerse the soup kettle in ater. If the soup kettle
does become completely et, it must be dried and checked by
a qualified specialist before it is used again.
Do not operate the kettle hile it is empty
This appliance must be earthed
Prior to installation, please read the instructions fully.
When the soup kettle is in use, some parts of it ill become
very hot. Please take care not to touch these hot parts.
Do not leave the soup kettle unattended hen it is not in
operation.
Please unplug the electrical cord hen the machine is not in
use.
Disclaimer: The manufacturer will accept no liability for any injury
or damage caused by incorrect usage of the machine.

Please familiarise yourself ith the various parts of the soup kettle
before use.

Operating Instructions
1. Open the lid and pour 0.6 litres of ater bet een the stainless
steel liner and the internal aluminium container. Take care not
to over-fill ith ater. Under no circumstances should the
stainless steel liner be filled to the top. Remove any excess
ater before use.
2. Plug the soup kettle into the electrical socket. S itch the unit on
and the indicator lamp (3) ill illuminate.
3. Set the temperature controller bet een 1 and 8 as desired. Care
should be taken to operate the soup kettle at the lo est possible
setting to maintain correct serving temperature. The
temperature indicator (5) ill illuminate hen the desired
temperature is reached.
4. Settings bet een 8 and 12 should be used after the initial heat
up and the unit should be returned to 8 or belo hen the
correct temperature has been achieved.
5. When you have finished using the unit, return the temperature
dial to 0, s itch off and unplug from the electrical socket.
6. Al ays keep the lid attached and in the closed position hen not
serving from the kettle.
7. Never move or carry the kettle hen it is s itched on or
containing hot food
8. Ensure the unit is unplugged hen not in use, hen filing and
hen being cleaned.

CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOILER
DURING USE. IT WILL BE HOT!
Maintenance
Cleaning
Spilled food should be removed immediately from all exterior
surfaces. Also, it is important to clean the soup kettle after use. To
remove dirt or marks from the kettle, it is best to ipe ith a soft,
damp cloth. The stainless steel is ashable. The kettle must not
be cleaned using a high-pressure jet.
