PREPARING THE MACHINE & MAKING SNOW CONES
1) Remove Safety Lock Pin and raise Hopper Lid.
2) Load ice into the Ice Chute.
-Use either block ice (2-3” in size max) or ice cubes.
-Harder ice will result in a finer snow, while softer/melting ice will result in a courser snow.
3) Close Hopper Lid, keeping hand firmly on Hopper Lid Handle to apply gentle downward pressure.
4) Using second hand, press and hold the Ice Grinder Motor Switch until all of the ice has been shaved.
-DO NOT OPEN THE ICE CHUTE UNTIL THE MOTOR IS OFF AND SHAVER HEAD HAS STOPPED.
-ONLY ONE TRAINED ADULT OPERATOR SHOULD BE NEAR THE MACHINE WHILE IN USE.
-NEVER PLACE FINGERS OR OTHER BODY PARTS, OR ANY FOREIGN OBJECTS, IN THE ICE CHUTE.
-KEEP HANDS AWAY FROM INSIDE THE UNIT AT ALL TIMES WHEN MACHINE IS PLUGGED IN.
5) Upon completion, ensure that the Hopper Lid Handle is closed, replace the Safety Lock Pin and unplug the
machine.
6) Scoop ice into the snow cone cups, and pour syrup flavoring onto snow cone cups individually.
-NEVER put snow cone syrup into the machine!
