2. GENERALITÀ
Il modulo PM2093-VL permette di leggere tramite
gli ingressi di comando eventuali segnalazioni
derivanti dalla chiusura di contatti esterni (ad es.:
contatti di una centralina antincendio).
Le possibili tipologie di guasto rilevabili dal modulo
CPU PM2021-V sono riportate sul pannello
frontale in corrispondenza dei relativi led di
segnalazione. Per questa funzionalità, è necessario
che l’indirizzo del modulo sia 1(impostazione di
fabbrica). Simultaneamente all’accensione del led,
si chiuderà il relativo contatto del relè.
2. GENERAL INFORMATION
The control inputs of the PM2093-VL module
enable possible signalling resulting from the closing
of external contacts (e.g. the contacts of a fire-
fighting control unit) to be read.
The types of failure that the CPU PM2021-V
module is able to detect are indicated on the
front panel, alongside the corresponding
signalling LEDs. For this function, it is necessary
for the address of the module to be 1(factory
setting). At the same time as the LED lights up, the
relevant relay contact will close.

Aan het einde van zijn levensduur mag het product
niet samen met het gewone huishoudelijke afval
worden verwerkt. Het moet naar het daartoe
bestemde gemeentelijke verzamelpunt voor
gescheiden afval worden gebracht, of naar een
verkooppunt dat deze service verleent. Het
apart verwerken van afgedankte elektrische
en elektronische apparatuur (AEEA)
voorkomt mogelijk negatieve gevolgen
voor het milieu en de gezondheid die door
een ongeschikte verwerking ontstaan en
zorgt ervoor dat de materialen waaruit het
apparaat is samengesteld teruggewonnen
kunnen worden om een aanmerkelijke
besparing van energie en grondstoffen te
verkrijgen. Om op de verplichting tot gescheiden
verwerking van elektrische apparatuur te wijzen,
is op het product het symbool van een
doorgekruiste vuilnisbak aangebracht.
Am Ende seiner Nutzzeit darf das Produkt nicht
zusammen mit dem Siedlungsabfall beseitigt
werden, sondern es muss bei den zu diesem Zweck
von den städtischen Behörden eingerichteten
Sammelstellen oder zu den Fachhändlern, die einen
Rücknahmeservice anbieten, gebracht
werden. Die getrennte Entsorgung von
Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräten (WEEE
- Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment)
vermeidet mögliche negative
Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt und die
Gesundheit infolge einer nicht
vorschriftsmäßigen Entsorgung. Zudem
wird die Wiederverwertung der Materialen,
aus denen das Gerät besteht, ermöglicht, so dass
eine bedeutende Einsparung an Energie und
Ressourcen erzielt wird. Aus diesem Grund ist das
Produkt mit dem Symbol einer durchgestrichenen
Mülltonne gekennzeichnet.

retourkosten aan Paso opgestuurd te worden. Deze
garantie omvat geen enkele andere expliciete of
impliciete garantie en dekt geen schade aan
personen of zaken. Voor verdere informatie over
de garantie dient contact opgenomen te worden
met de dichtstbijzijnde PASO distributeur.
•GARANTIE •
Für dieses Produkt wird eine Garantie für
Rohmaterialfehler und Montagefehler gewährt; die
Garantiezeit unterliegt den gültigen gesetzlichen
Bestimmungen. Paso repariert das garantierte
Produkt kostenlos, wenn sich herausstellt, dass der
Defekt während des normalen Gebrauchs
aufgetreten ist; die Garantie erstreckt sich demnach
nicht auf Produkte, die falsch gebraucht und
installiert oder mechanisch, durch Flüssigkeiten oder
Umwelteinflüsse beschädigt wurden. Das defekte
Produkt muss franco Versandkosten für den Hin-
und Rücktransport zu und von Paso gesendet

Tramite i contatti d'uscita è possibile azionare dispositivi
esterni (relè, lampade, etc.), mentre il connettore per
controllo remoto consente il collegamento a distanza
(max 1 km) di dispositivi esterni.
É inoltre possibile inserire degli optionals all'interno
del modulo stesso:
• Scheda CLOCK AC36
(orologio di sistema - 1 per impianto)
• Scheda DRIVER RS485 AC37
(necessaria per il controllo remoto)
• Scheda TONI ALLARME AC38 o Modulo
CONSOLE AC39.
It is possible to use the output contacts to activate
external devices (e.g. relays, lamps, etc.), while the
connector for remote control can be used for the
remote connection of external devices (max. 1 km).
It is also possible to install some optional cards
inside the actual module:
• CLOCK AC36 card
(system clock - 1 per system)
• DRIVER RS485 AC37 card
(required for remote control)
•AC38 ALARM TONE CARD or AC39 CONSOLE

3. INSTALLAZIONE
Il modulo PM2093-VL ha due possibili modalità
di funzionamento:
•Modalità 1 - ‘ALLARMI’
Generatore di toni d'allarme selezionabili dagli
ingressi di comando.
•Modalità 2 - ‘IN/OUT’
Funzionamento IN/OUT.
Nei paragrafi seguenti ne verranno descritte ed
illustrate le caratteristiche.
•MODALITÀ 1 - ‘ALLARMI’
Per impostare il modulo PM2093-VL in questa
modalità, è necessario:
- inserire la scheda AC38 (vedi figura 3.1).
- inserire un jumper nel connettore CN118 in
posizione ‘GND’.
- inserire un jumper sul connettore CN114 in
posizione ‘ALL’.
- togliere dal connettore CN108 eCN109 i
rispettivi jumpers.
3. INSTALLATION
The PM2093-VL module has two possible
operating modes:
•Mode 1 - ‘ALARMS’
Alarm tone generator, tones selectable via the
control inputs.
•Mode 2 - ‘IN/OUT’
IN/OUT operation.
The features are described and illustrated in the
following paragraphs.
•MODE 1 - ‘ALARMS’
To set the PM2093-VL module in this mode it is
necessary to proceed as follows:
- fit the AC38 card into place (see figure 3.1).
- fit a jumper into connector CN118 in the ‘GND’
position.
- fit a jumper into connector CN114 in the ‘ALL’
position.
- remove the jumpers from connectors CN108
and CN109.

Au terme de son utilisation, le produit ne doit pas

agréés par l'administration communale ou à un

retombées négatives pour l'environnement
et la santé dues à une élimination
incorrecte, mais aussi de récupérer les
matériaux qui le composent et permet ainsi
d'effectuer d'importantes économies en
termes d'énergie et de ressources. Pour
rappeler l'obligation d'éliminer séparément
les appareils électroniques, le produit porte le
symbole d'un caisson à ordures barré.
Al final de su vida útil, el producto no debe
eliminarse junto a los residuos urbanos. Debe
entregarse a centros específicos de recogida
selectiva establecidos por las administra-ciones
municipales, o a los revendedores que facilitan
este servicio. Eliminar por separado un
aparato eléctrico o electrónico (WEEE)
significa evitar posibles consecuencias
negativas para el medio ambiente y la salud
derivadas de una eliminación inadecuada y
permite reciclar los materiales que lo
componen, obteniendo así un ahorro
importante de energía y recursos. Para
subrayar la obligación de eliminar por
separado el aparato, en el producto aparece un
contenedor de basura móvil listado.

mécaniquement ou encore souillés par des liquides
ou des agents atmosphériques. Le produit
défectueux devra être envoyé à Paso franco de
frais d'expédition et de réexpédition. La présente
garantie n'en inclut aucune autre, explicite ou
implicite, et ne couvre pas les lésions ou dommages
causés aux personnes ou aux choses.

de manera errónea, dañados mecánicamente,

o implícitas, y no incluye daños o accidentes

Selezione dell’instradamento degli allarmi
• per inviare i toni di allarme al bus di miscelazione,
è necessario inserire un jumper nel connettore
CN119.
• per inviare i toni di allarme ad uno dei quattro
canali VES, è necessario selezionare un solo
jumper in CN124 (canale 1), in CN123 (canale
2), CN122 (canale 3), CN120 (canale 4).
• è possibile inoltre prelevare in modo bilanciato il
segnale dal connettore per controllo remoto [3]:
> PIN 3 - segnale audio ‘A’
> PIN 8 - segnale audio ‘B’
> PIN 7 - massa
Nota
Le tre possibiltà NON sono in alternativa e possono
quindi essere utilizzate SIMULTANEAMENTE. Dopo aver
scelto il set di allarmi desiderato, inserire la scheda nel
cestello PMS2002-B.
Alarm routing selections
• To send the alarm tones to the mixing bus, it is
necessary to fit a jumper into connector
CN119.
• To send the alarm tones to one of the four VES
channels it is necessary to select a single in
CN124 (channel 1), in CN123 (channel 2), in
CN122 (channel 3) or in CN120 (channel 4).
• It is also possible to pick up the signal in the
balanced mode from the remote control
connector [3]:
> PIN 3 - audio signal ‘A’
> PIN 8 - audio signal ‘B’
> PIN 7 - GND
Note
These three possibilities are NOT alternatives, and
may therefore be used AT THE SAME TIME. After
selecting the required set of alarms, fit the card
into the PMS2002-B card-cage.

This product is warranted to be free from defects
in raw materials and assembly. The warranty period
is governed by the applicable provisions of law.
Paso will repair the product covered by this
warranty free of charge if it is faulty, provided the
defect has occurred during normal use. The
warranty does not cover products that are
improperly used or installed, mechanically damaged
or damaged by liquids or the weather. If the product
is found to be faulty, it must be sent to Paso free of
charges for shipment and return. This warranty
does not include any others, either explicit or implicit,
and does not cover consequential damage to

Attivazione del tipo di allarme desiderato
Per attivare un allarme, è necessario eseguire il
collegamento tra il +24V della morsettiera [2]e
l'ingresso/allarme desiderato.
Es.: si vuole attivare l'allarme ‘Crash inglese’: con
CN111 in posizione ‘ON’, collegare +24V al
morsetto I4 (vedi figura 3.2a/3.2b).
Activating the type of alarm required
To activate an alarm, it is necessary to make the
connection between the +24V of the terminal strip
[2] and the required input /alarm.
E.g.: If you wish to activate the ‘Crash, English’
alarm: with CN111 in the ‘ON’ position, connect
+24V to terminal I4 (see Figures 3.2a/3.2b).

•MODALITÀ 2 - ‘IN/OUT’
Per questa modalità di funzionamento, è necessario:
- inserire un jumper in CN114 in posizione ‘ADD’.
- inserire un jumper in CN108 eCN109.
- impostare l'indirizzo della scheda inserendo i
jumpers nei connettori secondo quanto riportato
nella tabella in ultima pagina.
In questa modalità il controllo degli ingressi/uscite
è lasciato al modulo PM2021-V.
Anche in questa modalità, è possibile inserire i moduli
accessori AC36,AC37,ed AC38.
Per quanto riguarda l'instradamento dei segnali di
allarme, riferirsi a quanto riportato per la Modalità
1- par. ‘
Selezione dell'instradamento degli allarmi’.
•MODE 2 - ‘IN/OUT’
For this operating mode it is necessary to:
- fit a jumper into CN114 in the ‘ADD’ position.
- fit a jumper into CN108 and CN109.
- set the address of the card by fitting the jumpers
into the connectors as indicated in the table on
the last page.
In this mode, control of the inputs/outputs is left
up to the PM2021-V module.
In this mode, also, it is possible to insert the
accessory modules AC36,AC37 and AC38.
As far as concerns routing of the alarm signals,
refer to the indications provided for Mode 1 -
under the title ‘
Alarm routing selection ’.

2. GÉNÉRALITÉS
Le module PM2093-VL permet de lire, par
l'intermédiaire des entrées de commande, les
éventuels signaux de fermeture de contacts externes
(par exemple de contacts d'une unité de contrôle
anti-incendie). Les types de pannes détectables par
le module CPU PM2021-V sont reportés sur le
panneau avant en correspondance des diodes
électroluminescentes (DEL) d'indication. Pour cette
fonctionnalité, il faut que l'adresse du module soit 1
(valeur d'usine). Lorsque la DEL s'allume, le contact
correspondant du relais se ferme.
2. ALLGEMEINES
Das Modul PM2093-VL ermöglicht das Ablesen
mit Hilfe der Befehlseingänge eventuell vorliegender
Meldungen, die durch das Schließen von externen
Kontakten verursacht werden (z. B. Kontakte einer
Brandwarnanlage). Die möglichen, durch das Modul
CPU PM2021-V erfassbaren Arten von Schäden
sind auf dem Frontpaneel neben den dazugehörigen
Anzeige-LEDs angegeben. Für diese Funktion muss
die Adresse des Moduls 1(werkseitige Einstellung)
sein. Gleichzeitig mit dem Aufleuchten der LED
schließt sich der entsprechende Relais-Kontakt.

Activación del tipo de alarma deseado
Para activar una alarma es necesario efectuar la
conexión entre el +24V de la bornera [2]yla
entrada/alarma deseada.
Ej.: se desea activar la alarma ‘Crash inglés’: con
CN111 puesto en posición ‘ON’, conectar +24V al
borne I4 (ver figuras 3.2a/3.2b).

Activering van het gewenste alarmtype
Om een alarm te activeren is het nodig een
verbinding tot stand te brengen tussen de +24V
van de klemmenstrook [2] en de gewenste ingang/
alarm. Bijvoorbeeld: men wil het alarm ‘Crash Engels’
activeren: met CN111 in de positie ‘ON’, +24V
verbinden met klem I4 (zie afbeelding 3.2a/3.2b).
•MODALIDAD 2 - ‘IN/OUT’
Para esta modalidad de funcionamiento es necesario:
- poner un puente en CN114 en la posición
‘ADD’.
- poner un puente en CN108 yCN109.
- configurar la dirección de la tarjeta poniendo
los puentes en los conectadores según cuanto
indicado en la tabla de la última página.
En esta modalidad, el control de las entradas/salidas
queda confiado al módulo PM2021-V.
También en esta modalidad es posible introducir
los módulos accesorios AC36,AC37,yAC38.
En cuanto al encaminamiento de las señales de
alarma, se remite a cuanto indicado para la Modalidad
1- párr. ‘

Voor dit type functionering als volgt te werk gaan:
- een geleidingsbrug installeren in CN114 in de
positie ‘ADD’.
- een geleidingsbrug installeren in CN108 en
CN109.
- het adres van de kaart instellen door de
geleidingsbruggen te installeren in de
connectors, aan de hand van de gegevens uit
de tabel op de laatste pagina.
In deze bedrijfsmodus wordt de controle van de
ingangen / uitgangen overgelaten aan de module
PM2021-V. Ook in deze modus is het mogelijk de
extra modules AC36,AC37 en AC38 te installeren.
Voor wat betreft de routering van de alarmsignalen,
is dezelfde informatie van toepassing als voor
Bedrijfsmodus 1 - par. ‘

Par l'intermédiaire des contacts de sortie, il est possible
d'actionner des dispositifs externes (relais, lampes,
etc.), tandis que le connecteur de contrôle à distance
permet le raccordement à distance (au maximum à
1 km) de dispositifs externes. Il est en outre possible
d'ajouter comme option à l'intérieur du module les
accessoires suivants:
• Carte AC36 (horloge système - 1/installation)
• Carte DRIVER RS485 AC37
(nécessaire pour le contrôle à distance)
• Carte TONS D'ALARME AC38 ou Module
CONSOLE AC39.

3. INSTALLATION

3. INSTALLATION
Das Modul PM2093-VL verfügt über zwei

Pour configurer le module PM2093-VL sur cette

Nota
Las tres posibilidades NO son en alternativa por lo
que se pueden utilizar SIMULTÁNEAMENTE.
Tras haber elegido el set de alarmas deseado, insertar
la tarjeta en el contenedor PMS2002-B.

Opmerking
De drie mogelijkheden vormen GEEN alternatieven
en kunnen dan ook TEGELIJKERTIJD worden
toegepast. Na de gewenste set alarmen te hebben
gekozen, de kaart installeren in de korf
PMS2002-B.

• il est possible en outre de prélever en modalité
équilibrée le signal du connecteur pour le
contrôle à distance [3]:

> PIN 8 - signal audio ‘B’
> PIN 7 - masse
Note
Aucune des trois possibilités n'exclue les deux
autres, aussi peuvent-elles être utilisées
SIMULTANÉMENT. Après avoir sélectionné le type
d'alarme, mettre en place la carte dans le panier
PMS2002-B.

> PIN 7 - Masse
Bemerkung
Die drei Möglichkeiten sind KEINE Alternativen und
können daher GLEICHZEITIG verwendet werden.
Nach Auswahl der gewünschten Alarme, muss die
Karte in das Aufnahmefach PMS2002-B eingesetzt
werden.

- de kaart AC38 installeren (zie afbeelding 3.1)
- een geleidingsbrug installeren op de connector
CN118 in de positie ‘GND’.
- een geleidingsbrug installeren op de connector
CN114 in de positie ‘ALL’.
- de geleidingsbruggen van de connectors
CN108 en CN109 verwijderen.
