1. INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the SMS668 New Generation Fixed Line Color LCD
Display Cordless SMS Phone. This product uses 2.4GHz digital frequency-hopping
technology and is designed to receive and broadcast network audio channels, as
well as send/receive SMS and access information interactively via a xed-line phone.
The SMS668 adheres to exacting standards to ensure reliability, long life, and
outstanding performance. Please note that you have to register with your network
operator to activate your xed-line SMS function.*
As with all cordless phones, operating range depends on various factors, such as
weather, the construction and layout of your home, etc. Aluminum siding and foil-
backed insulation may limit operating range. Fluorescent lights and some appliances
such as microwave ovens and baby monitors may cause interference.
For clearest reception:
• Plug your SMS668 into an AC power outlet that is not on the same circuit as one
used by radio, hi-, television or computer equipment.
• Do not install the base unit close to electronic equipment such as microwaves,
TVs, computers, answering machines or baby monitors.
• Position the base unit at a higher oor level (if applicable).
To optimize the usage of this phone, please read this User Guide thoroughly.
