Prerequisites

ION TAG
Required Information
• Name of asset (ex: Propane Truck #20)
• Detailed information about the asset (year, make, model, VIN, license plate, etc.)
• State, area, organization, or group the asset belongs to (ex: North Region, MN tankers, etc.)
• ID of each tag to be installed (ID is found on the front of each unit with a barcode)

• Alchohol or degreaser to clean surface before adhering tag

Before You Begin
TURN TO THE LAST PAGE - WRITE DOWN THE REQUIRED INFORMATION!!!
• Decide where the Ion Tag will be located on the outside of the asset/equipment.
• Do not paint, pressure wash, or otherwise obstruct the surface of the device.

Installation Steps, Continued
STEP ONE
Choose a location to attach the iOn Tag that is
not obstructed, preferably on the exterior of the
equipment.The tag must not be placed inside
a metal encloser. Prepare the surface of the
equipment, removing all dirt and grease from the
surface using alchohol or another type of degreaser.

STEP TWO
Remove the lm from the adhesive pad on the back
of the iOn Tag.
STEP THREE
Press the sticky side to the surface of the equipment
to secure.
STEP FOUR
Remove the activation tab labeled “SNAP OFF TO ACTIVATE”

Support will need the device ID and other applicable information below.

Call Pedigree Technologies installation support to conrm and nalize the installation.

• Equipment make & model
• VIN #
• License plate #
• Mileage Hours
