Vor dem Benutzen
Die Gebrauchsanweisung aufmerksam lesen. Sie enthält
wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch, die Sicherheit und die
Wartung des Gerätes. Sie soll sorgfältig aufbewahrt und
gegebenenfalls an Nachbenutzer weitergegeben werden.
Das Gerät
darf nur für den vorgesehenen Zweck, gemäß die-
ser Gebrauchsanweisung, verwendet werden.
Dieses Gerät ist dafür bestimmt, im Haushalt und ähnlichen
Anwendungen verwendet zu wer-den, wie beispielsweise:
− in Küchen für Mitarbeiter in Läden, Büros und anderen
gewerblichen Bereichen;
− in landwirtschaftlichen Anwesen;
− von Kunden in Hotels, Motels und anderen
Wohneinrichtungen;
− in Frühstückspensionen.
Das Gerät ist nicht für den rein gewerblichen Gebrauch
bestimmt.
Beim Gebrauch die Sicherheitshinweise beachten.

Sicherheitshinweise
• Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte
Schutzkontaktsteckdose anschließen. Zuleitung und
Stecker müssen trocken sein.
• Die Anschlussleitung nicht über scharfe Kanten ziehen oder
einklemmen, nicht herunterhängen lassen sowie vor Hitze
und Öl schützen.
• Den Wasserkocher nur mit dem dazugehörigen Sockel
betreiben.
• Den Netzstecker nicht an der Leitung oder mit nassen
Händen aus der Steckdose ziehen.
• Das Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen bzw. sofort
Netzstecker ziehen, wenn:
- Gerät oder Netzkabel be-
schädigt ist;
- das Gerät undicht ist;
- der Verdacht auf einen Defekt nach einem Sturz oder
Ähnlichem besteht.
In diesen Fällen das Gerät zur Reparatur geben.
• Den Wasserkocher nicht auf heiße Oberflächen wie z. B.
Herdplatten o. Ä. oder in der Nähe der offenen Gasflamme
abstellen, er könnte dabei anschmelzen.
• Das Gerät nicht auf wasserempfindliche Oberflächen abstellen.
Wasserspritzer könnten diese beschädigen.
• Den Wasserkocher niemals ohne Aufsicht betreiben.
• Das Gerät nicht ohne Wasser einschalten.
• Den Topf zum Füllen vom Sockel nehmen.
• Nur reines Wasser, keine Milch, Kaffee o. Ä. einfüllen.
• Wird das Gerät überfüllt oder mit nicht geschlossenem
Deckel betrieben, kann kochendes Wasser herausspritzen.

• Das Gerät während des Betriebes nicht verrücken und
nicht am Netzkabel ziehen.
• Vorsicht, das Gerät wird heiß. Verbrühungsgefahr durch
austretenden Dampf. Den heißen Wasserkocher nur am
Griff anfassen und zum Ausgießen Deckel nicht öffnen.
Zum Füllen den Deckel durch Drücken auf die Taste oben
im Griff öffnen.
• Den Topf stets restlos leeren. Kein Restwasser längere
Zeit im Gerät stehen lassen.
• Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Personen (ein-
schließlich Kinder) mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensori-
schen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mangels Erfahrung
und/oder mangels Wissen benutzt zu werden, es sei denn,
sie werden durch eine für ihre Sicherheit zuständige
Person beaufsichtigt oder erhielten von ihr Anweisungen,
wie das Gerät zu benutzen ist.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass Kinder keine Gelegenheit erhalten,
mit dem Gerät zu spielen.
• Der Netzstecker ist zu ziehen:
- bei Störungen während des Betriebes,
- vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege,
- nach dem Gebrauch.
• Den Topf und den Sockel nicht in Wasser tauchen.
• Bei Zweckentfremdung, falscher Bedienung oder nicht fachge-
rechter Reparatur wird keine Haftung für eventuelle Schäden
übernommen. Ebenso sind Garantieleistungen in solchen
Fällen ausgeschlossen.
• Das Gerät ist nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch
bestimmt.
• Verpackungsmaterial, wie z. B. Folienbeutel gehören nicht
in Kinderhände.
• Wenn die Anschlussleitung dieses Gerätes beschädigt
wird, muss sie durch einen zentralen Kundendienst des
Herstellers oder eine ähnlich qualifizierte Person ersetzt
werden. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können
erhebliche Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen.
Inbetriebnahme
Vor Erstbenutzung den Topf innen gründlich reinigen. Dazu
den Deckel durch Drücken auf die Taste oben im Griff öff-
nen. Die nicht benötigte Länge der Anschlussleitung kann
am Boden des Sockelteiles aufgewickelt werden. Die Leitung
vom heißen Topf stets fern halten. Den Netzstecker an eine
Schutzkontaktsteckdose anschließen.
Wasser höchstens bis zur Max-Markierung einfüllen. Sie
befindet sich im Topf gegenüber der Ausgießöffnung.
Den Deckel schließen. Nur so arbeitet die KochStoppAuto-
matic zuverlässig.
Den Topf in beliebiger Stellung auf den Sockel setzen. Erst
jetzt die Einschalttaste unter dem Griff nach unten drücken.
Die Einschalttaste rastet nur ein, wenn der Topf auf dem
Sockel steht.
Das Wasser vom ersten Kochvorgang nicht zur Lebensmit-
telzubereitung verwenden.

Abschaltautomatik
Kurze Zeit nachdem das Wasser kocht, schaltet die
KochStoppAutomatic das Gerät ab. Ist der Topf nur mit wenig
Wasser gefüllt, verlängert sich die Abschaltzeit.
Wird nur warmes Wasser gewünscht, kann der Heizvorgang
jederzeit durch Betätigen der Einschalttaste abgebrochen
werden. Das Abschalten erfolgt auch automatisch, wenn der
Topf vom Sockel gehoben wird. Funktionsbedingt kann aus
den Ablauföffnungen unten am Griff etwas Kondenswasser
auf den Rand des Sockels laufen. Dies ist technisch bedingt
und beeinträchtigt die Sicherheit des Gerätes nicht.
Sicherheitssystem
Ein Thermostat schützt den Wasserkocher bei versehentli-
chem Betrieb ohne Wasser vor Überhitzung, indem er das
Gerät abschaltet.
Vor dem Wassereinfüllen den Topf unbedingt abkühlen
lassen.
Sollte bei unsachgemäßem Gebrauch der erste Thermostat
versagen, so sorgt ein zusätzlicher Temperaturbegrenzer für
einen zuverlässigen Schutz.
Reinigung und Pflege
Netzstecker ziehen und das Gerät abkühlen lassen. Das
Gerät nicht in Wasser tauchen, sondern mit einem feuchten
Tuch, dem etwas Spülmittel beigegeben wird, abwischen
und anschließend trockenreiben.
Keine scharfen und scheuernden Reinigungsmittel verwenden.
Der Topf besteht aus nichtrostendem Edelstahl. Sollten sich
dennoch Rostflecken zeigen, so sind dies nur auf der Ober-
fläche festhaftende Ablagerungen. Sie sollten sofort mit
einem Edelstahl-Putzmittel entfernt werden.
Entkalken
Kalkablagerungen führen zu Energieverlusten und beein-
trächtigen die Lebensdauer des Gerätes. Es schaltet vorzei-
tig ab, wenn die Kalkschicht zu stark ist. Sie ist dann nur
noch sehr schwer zu entfernen. Entkalken Sie deshalb
regelmäßig.
Wir empfehlen die Verwendung von durgol®express.
Dieses ist hochwirksam und materialschonend.
Sie bekommen es dort, wo das Gerät gekauft wurde, im
ausgewählten Fachhandel oder Sie bestellen direkt bei
petra-electric.
Gerät vor der Entkalkung vom Netz trennen und abkühlen
lassen. 1 bis 2 Tassen durgol®express einfüllen und Gerät
stehen lassen, bis der Kalkbelag am Boden entfernt ist.
Dann das Gerät bis über den Kalkrand an der Wandung mit
kaltem Leitungswasser auffüllen und 15 Minuten stehen las-
sen. Anschließend ausgießen und gründlich mit kaltem Lei-
tungswasser ausspülen.
Lösung während der Entkalkung nicht erhitzen.
Achtung, für Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung der Entkal-
kungsvorschrift entstehen, besteht kein Garantieanspruch.

Ursachen für Störungen
•Gerät schaltet vor dem Kochen ab: Topfboden ist zu
stark verkalkt oder es ist zu wenig Wasser eingefüllt.
•Gerät schaltet nicht ab: Deckel ist nicht geschlosssen.
•Gerät läßt sich nicht einschalten: Nach einem Betrieb
ohne oder mit zu wenig Wasser ist das Gerät noch nicht
ausreichend abgekühlt.
Sollte die Störung nicht behoben werden können, das Gerät
zur Reparatur geben.
Garantie-Information
Für unsere Geräte übernehmen wir gegenüber dem End-
kunden eine 24-monatige Haltbarkeitsgarantie. Sie beginnt
mit dem Kauf des Gerätes durch den Endkunden und gilt im
Gebiet der Bundesrepublik Deutschland.
Ansprüche aus dieser Garantie sind unter Vorlage des Kauf-
belegs direkt gegenüber unserem zentralen Kundendienst
geltend zu machen.
Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind Schäden durch nor-
malen Verschleiß, unsachgemäßen Gebrauch,
Nichteinhaltung der Entkalkungsanweisung sowie unterblie-
bene Pflege.
Der Endkunde besitzt zusätzlich zu den Ansprüchen aus
dieser Garantie gesetzliche Ansprüche wegen Mängeln des
Gerätes gegenüber seinem direkten Verkäufer/Händler, die
durch diese Garantie nicht eingeschränkt werden.

Prior to use
Carefully read the operating manual. It contains important
information regarding the use, safety, use and maintenance
of the appliance.

This appliance is intended for domestic use and similar
applications, such as:
- in staff kitchens in shops, offices and other commercial
establishments;

- by guests in hotels, motels and other accommodation faci-
lities;
- in bed-and-breakfast facilities.
The appliance is not intended for purely commercial use.

Safety information
• Connect the appliance only to a shockproof socket that
has been installed according to regulations. The supply
line and power plug must be dry.
• Do not pull the connecting line over sharp edges or jam,
do not suspend and protect from heat and oil.
• Only operate the boiler with the appropriate base.
• Do not pull the plug from the socket by the cable or with
wet hands.
• Do not operate the appliance or immediately pull the plug, if:
- The appliance or cable is damaged;
- The appliance leaks;
- Suspicion of a defect exists after a fall or such.
The appliance should be repaired in these cases
• Do not place the boiler on hot surfaces, such as stove tops
or such or near an open gas flame, it may melt.
• Do not place the appliance on surfaces subject to water.
Water splatters could damage it.
• Do not operate the appliance unattended.
• Do not switch the appliance on without water.
• Take the pot for filling from the base.
• Only fill in pure water, no milk, coffee or such.
• If the appliance is overfilled or operated with an open lid,
boiling water could splash out
• Do not move the appliance during the operation and do
not pull the cable.
•Caution, the appliance will be hot. Scalding risk due to
escaping steam. Only touch the boiler by the handle and
do not open the lid when pouring. When filling, open the lid
by pressing on the button on the top of the handle.

• Always empty the pot completely. Do not keep any resi-
dual water in the appliance over an extended period.
• This appliance is not intended to be used by persons
(including children) with limited physical, sensory or intel-
lectual faculties or who lack experience and/or knowledge,
unless they are supervised by a person responsible for
their safety or received instructions on how to use the
appliance.
• Please verify that children do not have an opportunity to
play with the appliance.
• The plug must be pulled:
- In the event of malfunctions during the operation,
- Prior to each cleaning and care,
- After use.
• Do not immerse the pot and the base in water.
• Liability for any damages will not be assumed in the event
of improper use, incorrect operation or improper repairs.
Warranties are also ruled out in such cases.
• The appliance is not intended for commercial use.
• Packaging material, such as plastic bags do not belong
into the hands of children.
• If the connecting line of this appliance is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer’s central customer ser-
vice or a similarly qualified person. Incorrect repairs may
result in considerable hazards for the user.
Start-up
Thoroughly clean the pot prior to first use. Open the lid by
pressing on the button on the top of the handle.
The length of the connecting line that is not needed can be
reeled in on the bottom of the base section. Always keep the
line away from the hot pot.
Connect the plug to a grounded socket.
Only fill the water up to the max mark. It is located in the
pot opposite the spout.
Close the lid. The automatic CookStop only operates reliably
by this method.
Place the pot in any position onto the base. Only now press
the button below the handle.
The push button switch only snaps in, if the pot is loca-
ted on the base.
Do not use the water from the first cooking process to pre-
pare food.
Automatic shutoff
The automatic cook stop switches the appliance off a short
time after the water boils. If the pot is filled with only a little
water, the shutoff period is extended.
If only warm water is desired, the heating process can be
discontinued at any time by pressing the push button switch.
It is also automatically switched off, if the pot is lifted from
the base.
Some condensate may drain on the edge of the base on the

bottom of the handle based on the function of the drainage
holes. This is technically conditional and will not jeopardize
the safety of the appliance.
Safety system
A thermostat protects the boiler from overheating in case of
an accidental operation without water by switching off the
appliance.
The pot must be cooled off prior to filling with water.
If the first thermostat fails due to improper use, an additional
thermostat provides reliable protection.
Cleaning and service
Pull the plug and cool the appliance. Do not immerse the
appliance in water, but wipe with a damp cloth to which a
dishwashing agent has been added and then wipe dry.
Do not use sharp and abrasive cleaning agents.
The pot consists of stainless steel. If rust spots are seen
regardless, these are initially only deposits adhering to the
surface. They should be removed immediately with stainless
steel cleaner.
Decalcification
Calcium deposits result in energy losses and reduce the ser-
vice life of the appliance. It switches off early, if the calcium
coating is too thick. It is then difficult to remove. Decalcify
the pot routinely.
We recommend using durgol®express. It is very effective
and gentle to materials.
You may obtain it where you bought the appliance; directly
from a select dealer or you can order it directly from
petra-
electric
.
Disconnect the appliance from the socket and let cool prior
to decalcification. Fill in 1 to 2 cups of durgol®express and
let the appliance stand until the calcium coating is removed
from the bottom. Then fill the appliance with cold water past
the calcium edge and let stand for 15 minutes. Then pour it
out and thoroughly rinse with cold water.
Do not heat the solution during decalcification.
Caution, warranty compensation does not exist for dama-
ges that occur due to non-compliance.
Reasons for malfunctions
•The appliance switches off prior to cooking
The bottom of the pot is exessively calcified, not enough
water has been filled in
•The appliance does not switch off
The lid is not closed
•The appliance cannot be switched on
The appliance is not sufficiently cooled after an operation
without or with an insufficient amount of water.
If the malfunction cannot be resolved, the appliance must be
repaired.

For UK use only
• This product is supplied with 13 A plug conforming to BS
1363 fitted to the mains lead. If the plug is unsuitable for
your socket outlets or needs to be replaced, please note
the following. If the plug is a non-rewireable one, cu imme-
diately dispose of it. Never insert it into a socket outlet as
there is a very great risk of an electric shock.
•The replacement of the plug at the mains lead has to be
done according to the following instructions:
Warning - This appliance must be earthed
Important: The wires in this mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
green / yellow: Earth
blue: Neutral
brown: Live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appli-
ance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as
follows:
- the wire which is coloured green and yellow must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the letter E or
by the earth symbol , or coloured green or green and
yellow,
- the wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured
black,
- the wire which is coloured brown must be connected to
the terminal which is marked with the letter L or colou-
red red.
• If a 13 A (BS 1363) plug is used it must be fitted with a 13 A
fuse conforming to BS 1362 and be ASTA approved.
If any other type of plug is used, the appliance must be
protected by a 15 A fuse either in the plug or adapter or at
the distribution board. If in doubt - consult a qualified
electrician.
• Never use the plug without closing the fuse cover.
The appliance complies with the European directives
2006/95/EC, 2004/108/EC and 2005/32/EC.
This product may not be disposed of in normal house-
hold waste at the end of its service life, but must be
delivered to a collecting point for recycling electrical
and electronic appliances.
The materials are reusable in accordance with their identifica-

Consignes de sécurité
• Relier l'appareil uniquement à une source ca - avec une
tension conformément à celle indiquée sur la plaquette de
l'appareil par une prise de contact de protection convenab-
lement installée. Le câble d'alimentation et les prises de
courant doivent être sèches.
• Ne pas tirer ou piéger le câble de connexion sur des arê-
tes tranchantes, ne pas suspendre et protéger contre la
chaleur et l'huile.
• N'actionner la bouilloire qu'avec la base prévue à ce effet.
• Ne pas tirer la fiche secteur de la prise au niveau du câble
ou avec des mains humides.
• Ne pas mettre l'appareil en marche, et/ou tirer brusque-
ment sur la fiche secteur si:
- L'appareil ou le câble secteur est endommagé;
- l'appareil n'est pas étanche;
- un défaut est soupçonné après une chute ou autre.
Dans ces cas, renvoyer l'appareil pour le faire réparer.
• Ne pas placer p. ex. la bouilloire sur des surfaces chaudes
des plaques de fourneau ou à proximité de la flamme de
gaz ouverte, car il pourrait fondre.
• Ne pas poser l'appareil sur des couches superficielles du
sol sensibles à l'eau. Des éclaboussures d'eau pourraient
endommager ces dernières.
• Ne jamais utiliser l’appareil sans surveillance.
• N'allumez pas l'appareil sans eau.
• Prendre le pot à remplir de la base.
• Remplir uniquement avec de l'eau chaude, sans café ni lait.
• Si l'appareil est surchargé ou actionné avec le couvercle

non fermé, l'eau bouillante pourrait éclabousser.
• Ne pas déplacer l'appareil et ne pas le tirer par le câble
d'alimentation.
•Précaution, l'appareil devient chaud. Danger de brûlures
par la vapeur sortante. Ne saisir la bouilloire que par la
poignée et ne pas ouvrir pour le couvercle pour remplir.
Pour remplir, ouvrir le couvercle en appuyant sur la touche
en haut au niveau de la poignée.
• Vider toujours complètement le pot. Ne pas laisser l'eau
résiduelle plus longtemps dans l'appareil.
• Cet appareil ne peut pas être utilisé par des personnes (y
compris des enfants) avec des capacités physiques, sen-
sorielles ou mentales restreintes ou sans expérience et/ou
connaissance, sans l'assistance d'une personne compé-
tente qui a reçu des instructions, sur comment utiliser
l'appareil.
• Veillez à ce que des enfants n'aient pas l'occasion de
jouer avec l'appareil.
• La fiche secteur doit être tirée:
- lors des troubles de fonctionnement,
- avant chaque nettoyage et soins,
- après l'utilisation.
• Ne pas plonger le pot et la base dans l'eau.
• Aucune responsabilité d'éventuels dégâts n'est prise en
cas de détournement, d'utilisation abusive, de fausse com-
mande ou de réparation inappropriée.
De même, des prestations de garantie dans de tels cas
sont exclues.
• L'appareil n'est pas destiné à l'utilisation industrielle.
• Le matériel d'emballage, comme p. ex. des sachets en
aluminium ne doit pas tomber entre les mains des enfants.
• Si le câble de raccordement de cet appareil est endomma-
gé, il doit être remplacé par le service clients central du
fabricant ou par une personne qualifiée. Des dangers con-
sidérables pour l'utilisateur pourraient naître de réparations
inadéquates.
Première utilisation
Avant la première utilisation, nettoyer soigneusement à
l'intérieur du pot. Pour remplir, ouvrir le couvercle en appuy-
ant sur la touche en haut au niveau de la poignée.
La longueur non nécessaire du câble de connexion peut
être enroulée dans le dessus de la base. Tenir toujours à
l'écart le câble du pot chaud.
Enfichez la fiche d'alimentation à une prise de contact de
protection.
Remplir d'eau tout au plus jusqu'au Marquage -Maxi. Il se
trouve dans le pot au niveau de l'ouverture de remplissage.
Fermer le couvercle. C'est la seule manière de garantir un
arrêt de cuisson fiable.
Placer le pot librement sur la base. Ce n'est que maintenant
que l'on doit appuyer sur la touche de mise en marche sous
la poignée vers le bas.
Le bouton de mise en marche n'est activé que si le pot

est sur la base.
Ne pas utiliser l'eau du premier processus de cuisson pour
la préparation de produits alimentaires.
Arrêt automatique
Aussitôt après que l'eau bouille, l'arrêt automatique met l'ap-
pareil hors tension. Si le pot ne contient que peu d'eau, le
temps d'arrêt se prolonge.
Si l'eau doit être uniquement réchauffée, le processus de
chauffage peut être arrêté à tout moment en appuyant sur le
bouton de mise en marche. L'arrêt se fait aussi automati-
quement, si le pot est soulevé de la base.
De l'eau de condensation peut sortir des ouvertures d'aérati-
on sous la poignée, vers le bas sur le bord de la base, pen-
dant le fonctionnement. Cela est dû au fonctionnement et ne
porte pas atteinte à la sécurité de l'appareil.
Système de sécurité
Un thermostat protège la bouilloire en cas de fonctionne-
ment sans eau par erreur, contre toute surchauffe, en met-
tant l'appareil hors circuit.
Il est impératif de faire refroidir le pot avant le remplis-
sage d'eau.
Si le premier thermostat fonctionne mal à cause d'une utili-
sation inadéquate, un limiteur de température supplémentai-
re veille à une protection fiable.
Nettoyage et soins
Débrancher l'appareil et laisser refroidir. Ne pas plonger l'ap-
pareil dans l'eau, et nettoyer avec un chiffon humide et du
détergent; essuyer et frotter pour sécher.
Ne pas utiliser de détergents agressifs.
Le pot est en acier fin antirouille. Cependant si des taches
de rouille devaient se présenter, elles ne seront que sur la
couche superficielle. Les éliminer immédiatement avec un
produit de nettoyage pour l'acier fin.
Détartrage
Des dépôts de calcaire entraînent des pertes énergétiques
et portent atteinte à la durée de vie de l'appareil. L'arrêt se
fait précocement, si la couche de calcaire est trop épaisse.
Elle devient alors plus difficile à éliminer. Par conséquent, il
est nécessaire de détartrer régulièrement.
Nous recommandons l'utilisation de durgol®express. Il
s'agit d'un produit efficace et embellissant.
Vous pourrez vous le procurer la où l'appareil a été acheté,
dans le commerce spécialisé ou le commander directement
chez petra-electric.
Débrancher l'appareil et le faire refroidir avant le détartrage.
Remplir avec 1 à 2 tasses de durgol®express et laisser
l'appareil, jusqu'à ce que la couche calcaire soit éliminée.
Ensuite, remplir l'appareil jusqu'au bord du calcaire au
niveau de la paroi, avec de l'eau de robinet froide et laisser
pauser. Ensuite remplir et rincer soigneusement avec de

l'eau de robinet froide.
Ne pas chauffer la solution pendant le détartrage.
Attention, pour les dommages découlant du non-respect de
la disposition de détartrage, aucune garantie n'est valable.
Dépannage
•L'appareil s'arrête avant l'ébullition,
trop de calcaire au fond du pot, trop peu d'eau
•L'appareil ne s'arrête pas
Le couvercle n'est pas fermé
•L'appareil ne peut pas être mis en marche
Après un fonctionnement sans eau ou avec peu d'eau,
l'appareil doit encore refroidir.
Si le problème persiste, faites réparer l'appareil.

da queste istruzioni.

Avvertenze di sicurezza
• Collegare l'apparecchio solamente ad una presa con rete
di terra installata secondo le normative di riferimento. Il
cavo di alimentazione e la spina devono essere asciutti.
• Non tirare né incastrare il cavo elettrico in spigoli taglienti,
non lasciarlo penzolare e proteggerlo dal calore e dall’olio.
• Usare il bollitore solo con il suo basamento.
• Non staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente tirando il
cavo né usare mani bagnate.
• Non usare l’apparecchio o staccare immediatamente la
spina della presa di corrente se:
- l’apparecchio o il cavo elettrico sono difettosi;
- l’apparecchio non è ermetico;

• Non appoggiare il bollitore su superfici calde, come ad

qua perché gli spruzzi potrebbero rovinarle.
• Usare l’apparecchio sempre sotto sorveglianza.
• Non accendere l’apparecchio senza acqua.
• Per riempire il contenitore toglierlo sempre dal basamento.
• Riempire solo con acqua, non con latte, caffè o altro.
• Se il bollitore viene riempito troppo o usato con il coper-
chio non chiuso, può spruzzare acqua bollente dal conte-
nitore.
• Non spostare l’apparecchio mentre è in funzione e non
tirarlo per il cavo.
•Attenzione, l’apparecchio diventa molto caldo. Pericolo di
scottarsi con il vapore uscente. Prendere il bollitore caldo

solo per il manico, per versare l’acqua non aprire il coper-
chio.
• Vuotare completamente il contenitore. Non lasciare al suo
interno acqua rimanente per molto tempo.
• L’apparecchio non è destinato all’utilizzo da parte di perso-
ne (bambini compresi) dalle ridotte capacità motorie, sen-
soriali o psichiche o prive della necessaria esperienza e/o
conoscenza, a meno che non siano sorvegliate da una
persona responsabile della loro sicurezza o ricevano da
questa istruzioni circa l’utilizzo del dispositivo.
• Prestare la massima attenzione affinché i bambini non
abbiano la possibilità di giocare con il dispositivo.
• Staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente:
- in caso di inconvenienti durante l’uso,
- prima di ogni pulizia o manutenzione,
- sempre dopo l’uso.
• Non immergere il contenitore né la base in acqua.
• Si declina qualunque responsabilità per eventuali danni
derivanti da un utilizzo scorretto o per scopi impropri e da

• L’apparecchio non è destinato all’uso commerciale.
• I materiali di imballaggio, come il sacchetto di plastica,
devono essere tenuti lontano dalla portata dei bambini. .
• Se il cavo elettrico dell’apparecchio viene danneggiato,
farlo sostituire dal servizio di assistenza clienti del produt-
tore o da personale qualificato. Riparazioni eseguite non a
regola d’arte possono costituire una fonte di pericolo per
l’utente.
Messa in funzione
Prima del primo uso, pulire accuratamente l’interno del bolli-
tore. Per aprire il coperchio premere il tasto sulla parte alta
del manico.
La lunghezza del cavo elettrico che non occorre, può restare
avvolta intorno alla parte del basamento. Tenere lontano il
cavo elettrico dal contenitore caldo.
Inserire la spina in una presa di corrente di sicurezza.
Riempire di acqua al massimo fino alla scritta Max, che si
trova sul contenitore vicino al beccuccio di versamento.
Chiudere il coperchio. Solo così il dispositivo di arresto auto-
matico può funzionare in modo affidabile.
Appoggiare il contenitore sul basamento. Solo a questo
punto, premere verso il basso l’interruttore che si trova sotto
il manico.
L’interruttore scatta solo se il contenitore si trova sul
basamento.
Non utilizzare a scopo alimentare l’acqua del primo ciclo di
bollitura.
Arresto automatico
Dopo poco che l’acqua bolle, il dispositivo di arresto auto-
matico spegne l’apparecchio. Se nel contenitore c’è poca
acqua, il periodo di arresto si prolunga.

Se si desidera solo acqua calda, non bollente, si può speg-
nere l’apparecchio in qualunque momento con l’interruttore.
Il bollitore si spegne automaticamente quando si toglie il
contenitore dal basamento.
Può capitare che dall’apertura di scarico sulla parte inferiore
del manico esca dell’acqua di condensa e scorra sui lati del
basamento. È un fenomeno dovuto a fattori tecnici e non
compromette la sicurezza dell’apparecchio.
Sistema di sicurezza
Un termostato protegge il bollitore dal surriscaldamento
spegnendo il bollitore nel caso venisse messo in funzione
senza acqua.
Prima di riempire d’acqua il contenitore, farlo raffreddare.
Se per un uso scorretto il primo termostato non funzionasse,
un secondo dispositivo di limitazione della temperatura
garantisce una protezione affidabile.
Pulizia e cura
Staccare la spina e lasciare che l’apparecchio si raffreddi.
Non immergere l’apparecchio in acqua, ma strofinarlo con
un panno umido e un po’ di detersivo, pulire e asciugare.
Non utilizzare detersivi aggressivi o abrasivi.
Il contenitore è in acciaio inossidabile. Eventuali macchie di
ruggine non sono altro che depositi superficiali. Rimuoverli
immediatamente con un detergente per acciaio inossidabile.
Decalcificazione
Depositi calcarei comportano perdite di energia e possono
compromettere la longevità dell’apparecchio. Quando lo
strato di calcare è troppo spesso, l’apparecchio si spegne
prima che l’acqua bolla. A quel punto, è difficile eliminare il
calcare. Per questo è importante eseguire la decalcificazio-
ne periodicamente, con regolarità.
Si consiglia l’uso di durgol®express, un prodotto molto effi-
cace e che non danneggia i materiali.
Lo si trova in commercio dove si è acquistato il bollitore e
presso rivenditori specializzati selezionati, oppure è possibi-
le richiederlo direttamente a petra-electric.
Prima di eseguire la decalcificazione, staccare la spina
dell’apparecchio e lasciarlo raffreddare. Versare 1 o 2 tazze
di durgol®express, all’interno dell’apparecchio e lascialo
agire, fino a quando lo strato di calcare sul fondo sarà rimos-
so. Poi riempire il contenitore con acqua fredda fino al bordo
superiore dell’incrostazione sulla parete laterale e lasciare
riposare per 15 minuti. Infine, versare il contenuto dell’appa-
recchio e lavare a fondo con acqua fredda corrente.
Non riscaldare la soluzione durante la decalcificazione.
Attenzione, non viene riconosciuta alcuna garanzia per
danni derivanti dalla mancata osservanza della corretta pro-
cedura di decalcificazione.
Cause di possibili problemi
•L’apparecchio si spegne prima che l’acqua bolla

Il fondo del contenitore ha uno strato di calcare troppo
spesso, all’interno del contenitore c’è troppo poca acqua.
•L’apparecchio non si spegne
Il coperchio non è chiuso
•L’apparecchio non si accende
L’apparecchio precedentemente usato senza o con poca
acqua non si è ancora sufficientemente raffreddato.
Se non si riuscisse a risolvere il problema, portare l’apparec-
chio a far riparare.
L’apparecchio è conforme alle direttive europee 2006/95/CE,
2004/108/CE e 2005/32/CE.
Al termine della sua vita tecnica, questo prodotto non
deve essere smaltito con i normali rifiuti domestici, ma
va portato presso un apposito punto di raccolta per

Consejos de Seguridad
• El aparato sólo puede conectarse a una toma eléctrica
instalada de forma reglamentaria. Tanto el cable como el
enchufe deberán estar secos.
• No tire ni coloque el cable de conexión sobre bordes afila-
dos así como no debe dejarlo colgando protegiéndolo
también del calor y del aceite.
• Use el hervidor sólo con la base correspondiente.
• No tire la clavija del cable ni con las manos húmedas.
