a damp cloth, do not use any other solvents, which may cause damage to paint or plastic parts. Regular care

Your Phonic PPC 1100/ PPC 1200 was carefully packed in the factory and the packing box was designed to
protect the unit from rough handling. We recommend that you carefully examine the packaging and its contents
foranysigns ofphysical damage,which mayhave occurredin transportation.
If the unit isdamaged: Notify your dealer and the shipping company immediately.Claimsfor
damage or replacementmaynot begrantedif fail to report itproperly.

1. INTRODUCTION
The PPC 1100/ PPC 1200 Power Conditioner/Light Module is the perfect accessory to any equipment rack,
providing the working light to the rack and basic power protection essential to your equipment on the rack. Install
aPPC 1100/ PPC1200 inthe topslot ofyour rack, andthe eightswitchedACoutlets on the rear panel will power
upall yourequipmentwhileits twoslide-out lightfixturesprovide discreet, illuminationoftheircontrols inanydark
place. A dimmer control allows you to have the suitable lamp brightness. PPC 1200 has a digital line voltage

2. INSTALLATION
2.1 RACK MOUNTING
ThePower Conditioner/LightModulemay beinstalledin astandard 19inch equipment rack. Itrequires1.75
inchesof verticalrack space and securesto the rackcabinet withfourrack mountscrews and cupwashers.
Normally PPC1100/1200 is installed at the top of rack for lighting equipment on the rack.
2.2 CONNECTORS
It provides eight accessory outlets in rear panel, controlled by front switch and an additional unswitched
outleton thefront panel.

3.CONTROLS

1. MASTER SWITCH:
Use this switch to turn the power on and off for the rear eight outlets.The illuminated switch will come on when
the power is on.

2. LAMP SWITCH:
Use this to turn on the two slide out, swiveling rack lights which allow you to check the equipment settings
before applying power to it. This switch is independent from the master switch.

3. RACK LIGHT:
Two slide out, swiveling rack lights with dimmer control. Pull it out and turn to oppropriate down angle when you
need them to give light to the equipments on the rack.

4. DIMMER CONTROL:
Use this control to adjust the brightness of the rack light.

5. UNSWITCHED OUTLET:
Thereis an additional unswitchedoutleton thefront panel forconvenient temporaryuse.It isindependent from
the master switch. Its power will be turned on when the built-inAC cord on the rear panel is plugged into the
mainpower.

6. CIRCUIT BREAK:
The front circuit breaket can be easily and quickly reset should the PPC 1100/ PPC 1200 be overloaded.

7. DIGITAL LINE VOLTAGE DISPLAY: (PPC 1200 ONLY)
This is for monitoring the input voltage.The number will tell you how much voltages has been sent to this unit.
