OPTIONAL HINGED BASE FRAME ASSEMBLY
Connect the 3680mm Rear Base Frame sections using the Rear Base Frame Joiner.
Loosen the 4 x 26mm Fixing Nuts on Rear Base Frame sections & pull out Joiner to black line. This is the centre point.
Connect 2 x 16mm Stainless Fixing Bolts through Rear Base Frame & tighten firmly. Slide Rear Base Frame over Joiner & tighten.
Insert 4 x 26mm Fixing Nuts with 2 positioned at each end of the Rear Base Frame for the Joining Plate.
Insert 2 x 26mm Fixing Nuts at the rear end of each Side Base Frame section.
Connect the Rear Base Frame to the Side Base Frames using the Joining Plate, 26mm Fixing Nuts & 16mm Stainless Fixing Bolts.
The Rear Base Frame will sit on the inside of the Side Base Frames. Fit Frame End Caps to open ends of base frames.
Connect Hinge to Uprights using 2 x 26mm Fixing Nuts in net track. Tighten with 2 x 20mm Stainless Fixing Bolts with Washers.
Connect assembled Hinged Base Frame to Hinge on Uprights using 2 x 20mm Stainless Fixing Bolts with Washers.
OPTIONAL BOX NET SUPPORTS
Footing holes are 3m behind goal line & 1m to outside of Uprights, so ropes pull on a diagonal from corner of goal.
Dig 650mm deep x 300mm diameter footing holes. Keep diameter of hole even to avoid a bowl shape at bottom.
Fill with 20MPA semi-wet concrete 35mm below ground level.
Sink sleeve into concrete with end marked at base. Sleeve centres are to match post hole centres (step 1).
Top of sleeve is 25mm above concrete & 10mm below ground. Do not sink sleeve below top of concrete level.
Tilt sleeves back on an angle of 10-15 degrees so posts are not vertical. This assists with net tensioning.
Angle sleeves slightly away from goals (to the left & right). This assists net to form a box shape.
Put Net Support Post into Ground Sleeve to get the angle correct before the concrete sets & adjust angle if required.
Carefully fit top cap & leave to cure for a minimum of 48hrs.
Remove cap, stand post in sleeve & secure with security screw.
OPTIONAL TRIANGLE NET SUPPORTS
Slide 2 x 26mm Fixing Nuts up net track on Uprights to top of each post.
Position 1st Fixing Nut above elbow join & 2nd Fixing Nut will marry up with base of Net Support.
Fasten Net Supports to Uprights using 16mm Stainless Fixing Bolts through Fixing Nuts in net track.
Connect Brace Bar to top of Net Support with 60mm Galvanised Fixing Bolt & to top of Crossbar with factory-fitted 26mm Fixing Nuts.
