PINEWARE 14L WATER HEATING BUCKET

Congratulations on purchasing our PINEWARE 14L WATER HEATING BUCKET. Each unit
is manufactured to ensure safety and reliability. Before using this appliance for the first time,
please read the instruction manual carefully and keep it for future reference.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
WHEN USING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD
ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED INCUDING THE FOLLOWING:
1. Read the instructions carefully before use and save them for future reference
2. Do not carry the bucket when it contains hot water, it could spill and you could be
scalded.
3. Never over fill or under fill the bucket. Operating it like this is dangerous
4. Do not remove the lid when the bucket contains hot water, you could be scalded
5. Do not put your hand or any other part of your body in the hot water, you could be
scalded
6. Never leave the bucket unattended when it is switched on. It could boil over or
boil dry causing an injury
7. Always disconnect the appliance from the main supply when not in use.
8. Ensure the rating label corresponds with the mains voltage in your home.
9. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
10. To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons, do not immerse the
cord, plug or water heating bucket in water or any other liquid.
11. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
12. Unplug from the wall outlet when not in use or before cleaning. Allow to cool
before cleaning.
13. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after a malfunction or
if the appliance has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the
nearest service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
14. Always operate the water heating bucket on a dry, level and firm surface.
15. Do not use outdoors.
16. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the work surface.
17. Do not place on or near a hot gas burner or electric stove or in a heated oven.
18. Only use the appliance for its intended use

20. Never overfill as it may eject boiling water.
21. Always ensure that the element is covered with water.

22. To reduce electrical hazards, it is recommended not to use an extension cord or
plug adaptor.
23. Do not cover water heating bucket steam hole when in use.
24. Never attempt to open or dismantle the controls. Responsibility for failure cannot
be accepted if this instruction has been ignored.
25. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
26. Children should be supervised to ensure that they don’t play with the appliance.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Failure to comply with operating and cleaning instructions as stated below may render the
warranty invalid.

Filling
•Open the lid of the water heating bucket, ensure that the power cord is not attached
to the water heating bucket.
•turn on the cold water tap and fill the water heating bucket NEVER fill the water
BELOW the MINIMUM water level mark or
ABOVE the MAXIMUM water level mark.

•Close the lid making sure that it is correctly attached.
•Plug the cord into the connector on the water heating bucket
•Plug the cord into a 230V wall socket switch away from hot or heated surfaces.
•Switch ON the wall socket switch. The water will start heating up.
•When the water is boiling switch OFF the wall socket switch. This is not an automatic
switch OFF appliance DO NOT leave the water heating bucket un-attended when
boiling.
•To avoid steam burns, face the steam hole away from you. Steam is dangerous.

•Water can be accessed by placing container under the water heating bucket tap and
pressing/lifting the tap knob. Be careful hot water is dangerous.
Boil dry protection
As a protection against overheating, this water heating bucket is fitted with an automatic
safety device that will automatically shut the unit OFF if there is insufficient water in the unit.
Should this happen, unplug the unit and allow it to cool before refilling it with cold water.
SAFETY TIPS
•Be sure to read IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS.
•Make sure the areas around the water heating bucket are dry before connecting.
•Always disconnect the water heating bucket from power outlet before filling with
water.
•Before switching the water heating bucket ON, make sure that the element is
covered with water.
•Check that the switch is OFF before disconnecting the water heating bucket from the
wall socket.
•Do not open lid while the water heating bucket is in operation. Switch OFF the wall
switch first.
•To avoid steam burns, face the lid steam hole away from you, ensuring that the
steam does not come in contact with the plug and power outlet.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always unplug the unit before attempting to clean it. Wipe the exterior of the water heating
bucket with a clean, soft and slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning materials.
NEVER IMMERSE the water heating bucket in water or any other liquid.
CLEANING THE INSIDE
Depending on the nature of the water supply, the inside of the water heating bucket may
need to be descaled and cleaned regularly using kettle cleaner/descalers that are available
from supermarkets, chemists and other stores. After descaling the water heating bucket
should be boiled with fresh water several times before use.

STORING THE APPLIANCE
•Unplug the water heating bucket from the wall outlet and clean the water heating
bucket as instructed.
•Make sure that the water heating bucket is cool and that the inside is dry.
•Store in a clean dry place.
•Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
SERVICING THE APPLIANCE
There are no user serviceable parts in this appliance. If the unit is not operating correctly,
please check the following:
•You have followed the instructions correctly
•That the unit has been wired correctly and that the wall socket is switched on.
•That the mains power supply is ON.
•That the plug is firmly in the mains socket.
If the appliance still does not work after checking the above:
- Consult the retailer for possible repair or replacement. If the retailer fails to resolve the
problem and you need to return the appliance, make sure that:
•The unit is packed carefully back into its original packaging.
•Proof of purchase is attached.
•A reason is provided for why it is being returned.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorised
service agent, in order to avoid any hazard. If service becomes necessary within the
warranty period, the appliance should be returned to an approved Tedelex Trading (Pty)
Limited service centre. Servicing outside the warranty period is still available, but will,
however, be chargeable.
CHANGING THE PLUG
Should the need arise to change the fitted plug, follow the instructions below.
This unit is designed to operate on the stated current only. Connecting to other power
sources may damage the appliance. Connect a three-pin plug as follows:
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
Green/Yellow = Earth
Blue = Neutral
Brown = Live

W A R R A N T Y
1. Tedelex Trading (Pty) Limited (“Tedelex”) warrants to the original purchaser of this product
(“the customer”) that this product will be free of defects in quality and workmanship which
under normal personal, family or household use and purpose may manifest within a period of
1 (one) year from the date of purchase (“warranty period”).
2. Where the customer has purchased a product and it breaks, is defective or does not work
properly for the intended purpose, the customer must notify the supplier from whom the
customer bought the product (“the supplier”) thereof within the warranty period. Any claim in
terms of this warranty must be supported by a proof of purchase. If proof of purchase is not
available, then repair, and/or service charges may be payable by the customer to the supplier.
3. The faulty product must be taken to the supplier's service centre to exercise the warranty.
4. The supplier will refund, repair or exchange the product in terms of this warranty subject to
legislative requirements. This warranty shall be valid only where the customer has not broken
the product himself, or used the product for something that it is not supposed to be used for.
The warranty does not include and will not be construed to cover products damaged as a
result of disaster, misuse, tamper, abuse or any unauthorised modification or repair of the
product.
5. This warranty will extend only to the product provided at the date of the purchase and not to
any expendables attached or installed by the customer.
6. If the customer requests that the supplier repairs the product and the product breaks or fails
to work properly within 3 (three) months of the repair and not as a result of misuse, tampering
or modification by or on behalf of the customer, then the supplier may replace the product or
pay a refund to the customer.
7. The customer may be responsible for certain costs where products returned are not in the
original packaging, or if the packaging is damaged. This will be deducted from any refund
paid to the customer.

20. Nunca o encha demais, pois poderá espirrar água fervente.

23. Não cubra o orifício de vapor do balde de esquentar água quando esse estiver

24. Nunca tente abrir ou desmontar os controles. Não nos responsabilizaremos por
danos caso esta instrução tenha sido ignorada.
25. Este aparelho não foi feito para ser usado por pessoas (incluindo crianças) com
capacidade física, sensorial ou mental reduzidas, ou que não têm experiência ou
conhecimento, a menos que elas recebam supervisão ou instruções de uso de
uma pessoa responsável pela segurança delas.

INSTRUÇÕES DE USO
O não cumprimento das instruções de uso e de limpeza conforme o abaixo pode invalidar a
garantia.

Enchimento
•Tire a tampa do balde, certifique-se que o fio não esteja conectado ao balde.
•Abra a torneira de água fria e encha o balde. NUNCA encha o balde com água
ABAIXO da marca do nível MÍNIMO ou
ACIMA da marca do nível MÁXIMO de água.

•Feche a tampa e certifique-se que ela esteja corretamente adaptada.
•Coloque o fio no conector do balde.
•Coloque o fio numa tomada de 230V longe de superfícies quentes ou aquecidas.
•Ligue o interruptor da tomada. A água começará a esquentar.
•Quando a água estiver fervendo, desligue o interruptor da tomada. Este aparelho
não desliga automaticamente e NÃO deixe o balde sem supervisão quando estiver
fervendo.
•Para evitar queimaduras com vapor, não fique na frente do orifício de vapor, que é
sempre perigoso.

•Pode-se pegar a água por colocar o recipiente debaixo da torneira do balde e
pressionar/levantar o puxador da torneira. Cuidado! Água quente é perigosa.
Proteção para fervura a seco
Como proteção contra superaquecimento, este balde de esquentar água possui um
dispositivo de segurança automático que desligará o aparelho automaticamente se não
houver água suficiente dentro dele. Nesse caso, desconecte o aparelho, espere esfriar
antes de reenchê-lo com água fria.
DICAS DE SEGURANÇA
•Certifique-se de ler as PRECAUÇÕES IMPORTANTES.
•Certifique-se que as áreas em volta do balde estejam secas antes de conectá-lo.
•Sempre desconecte o balde da tomada antes de enchê-lo com água.
•Antes de ligar o interruptor do aparelho, certifique-se de que o componente esteja
coberto com água.
•Verifique se o interruptor está DESLIGADO antes de desconectar o balde da
tomada.
•Não abra a tampa enquanto o balde estiver em funcionamento. Desligue do
interruptor na parede primeiro.
•A fim de evitar queimaduras com o vapor, não fique na frente do orifício de vapor da
tampa, assegurando que o vapor não venha entrar em contato com o plugue e com
a saída de energia.
LIMPEZA E MANUTENÇÃO
Sempre desconecte o aparelho antes de limpá-lo. Esfregue o exterior do balde com um
pano limpo, macio e levemente umedecido. Não use materiais de limpeza abrasivos.
NUNCA MERGULHE o balde de esquentar água em água ou quaisquer outros
líquidos.
LIMPEZA DO INTERIOR
Dependendo da natureza do fornecimento de água, poderá ser necessário remover a crosta
que adere ao interior do balde e limpá-lo regularmente usando removedores de chaleira que
estejam disponíveis nos supermercados, farmácias e outras lojas. Após remover a crosta,
ferva o balde com água fresca várias vezes antes de usá-lo.

AO GUARDAR O APARELHO
•Desconecte o balde de esquentar água da tomada na parede e limpe-o conforme as
instruções.
•Certifique-se de que o balde esteja frio e o interior esteja seco.
•Guarde-o num lugar seco e limpo.
•Não enrole o fio em volta do aparelho.
CONSERTO DO APARELHO
Não há conserto de peças deste aparelho. Se a unidade não estiver funcionando
corretamente, verifique o seguinte:
•Você seguiu as instruções corretamente
•O fio esteja colocado corretamente no aparelho e conectado à tomada na parede.
•A energia esteja ligada.
•O plugue esteja firmemente ligado à tomada.
Se ainda assim o aparelho não funcionar após verificar o acima:
- Consulte o varejista sobre a possibilidade de conserto ou de substituição. Se o varejista
não conseguir resolver o problema e for necessário devolver o aparelho, certifique-se que
•O aparelho esteja embalado cuidadosamente na embalagem original.
•O recibo de compra esteja anexado.
•Dê uma razão pela qual o aparelho está sendo devolvido.
Se o fio estiver danificado, ele deverá ser substituído pelo fabricante ou por um agente de
serviço autorizado a fim de evitar qualquer perigo. Se for necessário algum conserto dentro
do período de garantia, o aparelho deverá ser devolvido a um centro de serviço Tedelex
Trading (Pty) Limited aprovado. É possível consertar fora do período de garantia, mas será
cobrado pelo serviço.

Cumpra com as instruções seguintes caso seja necessário substituir a ficha.
Esta unidade destina-se a operar apenas na corrente indicada. A ligação a
outras fontes de alimentação poderá danificar o aparelho. Ligue uma ficha de
três pinos da seguinte maneira:

GARANTIA
1. Tedelex Trading (Pty) Limited (“Tedelex”) garante ao comprador original deste produto (“o
cliente”) que o produto está sem defeitos de qualidade e manufatura que sob uso normal
pessoal, familiar ou domiciliar e propósito pode manifestar dentro do período de 1 (um) ano
da data de compra (“período da garantia”).
2. Se o cliente tiver comprador um produto e ele quebrar, estiver com defeito ou não funcionar
adequadamente pelo período devido, o cliente deve notificar o fornecedor de quem comprou
o produto (‘’o fornecedor”) dentro do período de garantia. Qualquer reclamação nos termos
desta garantia devem ser acompanhadas pelo recibo de compra. Se não possuir o recibo,
então a cobrança do conserto, e/ou do serviço deverá ser pago pelo cliente ao fornecedor.
3. O produto defeituoso deve ser levado ao centro de serviço do fornecedor representante para
ter direito à garantia.
4. O fornecedor reembolsará, consertará ou trocará o produto nos termos desta garantia sujeita
a requerimentos legislativos. Esta garantia será válida somente se o cliente não tiver
quebrado ele mesmo o produto, ou usado de modo inapropriado. A garantia não inclui e não
será usada para cobrir produtos danificados por causa de desastre, mau uso, falsificação,
abuso ou modificação não autorizada ou conserto do produto.
5. Esta garantia somente será estendida ao produto fornecido na data da compra e não valerá
para nenhuma das extensões anexadas ou instaladas pelo cliente.
6. Se o cliente solicitar que o fornecedor conserte o produto e o produto quebrar ou não
funcionar apropriadamente dentro de 3 (três) meses do conserto e não devido ao uso errado,
falsificação ou modificação por ou da parte do cliente, então o fornecedor pode substituir o
produto ou reembolsar o cliente.
7. O cliente poderá ser responsabilizado por certos custos se os produtos devolvidos não
estiverem na embalagem original ou se a embalagem estiver danificada. Isso será deduzido
de qualquer reembolso pago ao cliente.

MESURES DE PRÉCAUTION IMPORTANTES
LORSQU’ON UTILISE UN APPAREIL ÉLECTRIQUE, LES PRÉCAUTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ
DE BASE DOIVENT TOUJOURS ÊTRE RESPECTÉES Y COMPRIS CE QUI SUIT:
1. Lire attentivement les instructions avant d’utiliser et les garder pour toute référence
future.
2. Ne pas porter le seau quand il contient de l’eau chaude, il pourrait déborder et vous
pourriez être brûlé.
3. Ne jamais trop ou trop peu remplir le seau. Le faire fonctionner comme ça est
dangereux.
4. Ne pas retirer le couvercle quand le seau contient de l’eau chaude, vous pourriez
être brûlé.
5. Ne pas mettre votre main ou toute autre partie de votre corps dans l’eau chaude,
vous pourriez être brûlé.
6. Ne jamais laisser le seau sans surveillance quand il est allumé. Il pourrait trop bouillir
ou bouillir à sec causant une blessure.
7. Déconnecter toujours l’appareil du réseau quand il n’est pas utilisé.
8. S’assurer que la plaque signalétique correspond à la tension du réseau de votre
maison.
9. Ne pas toucher les surfaces chaudes. Utiliser les poignées ou anses.
10. Pour protéger les personnes des incendies, choques électriques et blessures, ne pas
submerger le cordon, la prise ou le seau pour chauffer l’eau dans de l’eau ou tout
autre liquide.
11. Une étroite surveillance est nécessaire quand tout appareil est utilisé par ou près
d’enfants.
12. Déconnecter de la prise murale quand il n’est pas utilisé ou avant de nettoyer.
Laisser refroidir avant de nettoyer.
13. Ne faire fonctionner aucun appareil avec un cordon ou une prise endommagés,
après un défaut de fonctionnement ou si l’appareil a été endommagé de quelconque
manière. Renvoyer l’appareil au centre de service le plus proche pour test, réparation
ou ajustement.

14. Toujours faire fonctionner le seau pour chauffer l’eau sur une surface sèche,
horizontale et ferme.
15. Ne pas utiliser à l’extérieur.
16. Ne pas laisser le cordon pendre par-dessus du bord de la surface de travail.
17. Ne pas placer sur ou près d’un brûleur de gaz ou d’une plaque électrique chauds ou
dans un four chauffé.
18. N’utiliser l’appareil que pour l’usage auquel il est destiné.
19. Cet appareil est pour un USAGE DOMESTIQUE SEULEMENT.
20. Ne jamais trop remplir car il peut éjecter de l’eau bouillante.
21. S’assurer toujours que l’élément est couvert d’eau.
22. Pour réduire les risques électriques, il est recommandé de ne pas utiliser une
rallonge ou un adaptateur de prise.
23. Ne pas couvrir l’ouverture de vapeur du seau pour chauffer l’eau quand il est utilisé.
24. Ne jamais essayer d’ouvrir ou de démonter les contrôles. La responsabilité pour une
faille ne peut pas être acceptée si cette instruction a été ignorée.
25. Cet appareil n’est pas destiné à l’utilisation par des personnes (enfants inclus) qui
ont des capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales réduites, ou un manque
d’expérience ou de connaissance, à moins qu’il leur soit donné surveillance ou
instruction concernant l’utilisation de l’appareil par une personne responsable de leur
sécurité.

INSTRUCTIONS D’UTILISATION
Le manque de respecter les instructions d’utilisation et de nettoyage comme indiqué ci-
dessous peut rendre la garantie non valable.
Remplissage
•Ouvrir le couvercle du seau pour chauffer l’eau, s’assurer que le cordon
d’alimentation n’est pas attaché au seau pour chauffer l’eau.
•Ouvrir le robinet d’eau froide et remplir le seau pour chauffer l’eau. Ne JAMAIS
remplir d’eau
EN-DESSOUS de l’indicateur du niveau d’eau MINIMUM ni
AU-DESSUS de l’indicateur du niveau d’eau MAXIMUM.

•Fermer le couvercle en s’assurant qu’il correctement attaché.
•Brancher le cordon sur le connecteur du seau pour chauffer l’eau.

•Brancher le cordon sur une prise murale de 230V éloignée de surfaces chaudes ou
chauffées.
•Allumer la prise murale. L’eau commencera à chauffer.
•Quand l’eau est en ébullition éteindre la prise murale. Cet appareil ne s’éteint pas
automatiquement. NE PAS laisser le seau pour chauffer l’eau sans surveillance
quand en ébullition.
•Pour éviter des brulures dues à la vapeur, tourner l’ouverture de vapeur loin de vous.
La vapeur est dangereuse.
•On peut accéder à l’eau en plaçant un récipient sous le robinet du seau pour chauffer
l’eau et en appuyant sur/soulevant la poignée du robinet. Faire attention, l’eau
chaude est dangereuse.
Protection contre l’ébullition à sec
Comme protection contre la surchauffe, ce seau pour chauffer l’eau est équipé d’un
dispositif de sécurité automatique qui éteindra automatiquement l’unité si l’eau dans l’unité
est insuffisante. Si ceci devait arriver, débrancher l’unité et la laisser refroidir avant de la
remplir à nouveau avec de l’eau froide.
CONSEILS DE SÉCURITÉ
•Assurez-vous que vous avez lu les MESURES DE PRÉCAUTIONS IMPORTANTES.
•S’assurer que les surfaces autour du seau pour chauffer l’eau sont sèches avant de
connecter.
•Déconnecter toujours le seau pour chauffer l’eau de la prise électrique avant de
remplir avec de l’eau.
•Avant d’allumer (ON) le seau pour chauffer l’eau, s’assurer que l’élément est couvert
d’eau.
•Vérifier que l’interrupteur est éteint (OFF) avant de déconnecter le seau pour
chauffer l’eau de la prise murale.
•Ne pas ouvrir le couvercle pendant que le seau pour chauffer l’eau est en
fonctionnement. Éteindre d’abord la prise murale.
•Pour éviter des brulures dues à la vapeur, tourner l’ouverture de vapeur du couvercle
loin de vous, s’assurant que la vapeur n’entre pas en contact avec les prises
électriques.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
Déconnecter toujours l’unité avant d’essayer de la nettoyer. Nettoyer l’extérieur du seau
pour chauffer l’eau avec un chiffon propre, doux et légèrement humide. Ne pas utiliser de
matériaux de nettoyage abrasifs.
NE JAMAIS SUBMERGER le seau pour chauffer l’eau dans de l’eau ou tout autre
liquide.
NETTOYER L’INTÉRIEUR
Dépendant du type de fournissement d’eau, l’intérieur du seau pour chauffer l’eau peut
nécessiter d’être détartré et nettoyé régulièrement en utilisant des produits de nettoyage
pour bouilloire/de détartrage qui sont disponibles en supermarché, pharmacie et autres
magasins. Après le détartrage le seau pour chauffer l’eau doit être bouilli avec de l’eau
fraîche plusieurs fois avant l’utilisation.
RANGEMENT DE L’APPAREIL
•Débrancher le seau pour chauffer l’eau de la prise murale et nettoyer le seau pour
chauffer l’eau comme indiqué.
•S’assurer que le seau pour chauffer l’eau a refroidi et que l’intérieur est sec.
•Ranger dans un endroit propre et sec.
•Ne pas enrouler le câble d’alimentation autour de l’appareil.
ENTRETIEN DE L’APPAREIL
Aucun élément de cet appareil ne peut être entretenu par l'usager. Si l'unité ne fonctionne
pas correctement vérifier ce qui suit :
•Les instructions ont été suivies correctement
•L'unité a été branchée correctement et la prise de courant est bien allumée.
•L'alimentation générale de courant est ALLUMEE.
•La prise est bien insérée.
Si l'appareil ne marche toujours pas après ces vérifications :
- Consulter le revendeur pour qu'il répare ou remplace l'appareil. Si le revendeur ne parvient
pas à résoudre le problème et le retour de l'appareil s'avère nécessaire, s'assurer que :
•L'unité soit emballée avec soin dans son emballage d'origine.
•La preuve d'achat soit jointe.
•Il y ait une explication des raisons du retour.

Si le câble d'alimentation est endommagé il doit être remplacé par le producteur ou par un
agent agréé afin d'éviter tout accident. Si pendant la période couverte par la garantie il est
nécessaire d'effectuer un entretien, l'appareil devrait être apporté chez un centre d'entretien
approuvé par Tedelex Trading (Pty) Limited. En dehors de la période couverte par la
garantie il est possible d'effectuer les entretiens mais au frais du client.
CHANGER LA PRISE
Au cas où le changement de prise s'avérait nécessaire, suivre les instructions ci-dessous.
Cette unité est conçue pour fonctionner uniquement au courant établi. La connexion à
d'autres sources de courant pourrait endommager l'appareil. Connecter une prise à
trois broches de la manière suivante :
