such as wood stud, drywall or
masonry (concrete).
The AM-26 Speaker Mount has been designed to offer 2 different configurations for mounting home
theater speakers and can be used as a wall or ceiling mount. It is pre assembled in the Standard
Wall Mount Configuration (A) shown, but can be assembled to the Ceiling Mount Configuration in
(B) shown. Just select the configuration best suited for your application and follow the assembly
instructions on pages 2-4.
The AM-26 can support speakers up to 10 lbs (4.53kg) in all configurations and offers a full tilt
and swivel adjustability.

This mounting bracket comes pre-configured in a low profile (Standard Wall Mount) installation mount. To
convert the mount to a long profile (Standard Ceiling Mount) configuration, please follow the diagram below.
Please note, this mount can use either configuration for wall or ceiling installations, the diagrams show are
the most typical configurations used.
Warning! There are small parts/screws used with this bracket that can be easily lost. Take care to insure
all parts are kept together and are accounted for. If any parts are lost or missing, please contact us for
replacements prior to installation.
Set Screws used are metric threading (M6 diameter). Do not use non-metric screws to prevent thread
Damage.

Note: Over tightening the set screws may cause cross threading or stripped threads.

Use the included wrench to remove the
nut holding the mount to the wall plate.
You can also use a 14mm socket wrench.

To insure proper mounting and maximum security, it is recommended that this
mount is installed into a wood joist/stud or other solid surface that will support
at a minimum, 2 times the total weight of the speaker.
If installation requires the use of drywall anchors (not included) please select
quality anchors that best fits the mounting needs of the drywall and can support
3 times the weight of the speaker.
WARNING!
Installing the mount to ceiling.
1. Select location for installation using a stud finder to locate the center of
the wood stud/joist. Mark location for holes using the mount as a template.
2. Pre-Drill 2 pilot holes using a 1/8” drill bit. Take care when drilling to avoid
any wires or pipes that may be behind the wall/ceiling. (Drywall mounting
will follow instructions of anchors)
3. Using the 2 supplied wood screws (Part A) attach the bracket using a #2
Philips screw driver or driver bit (avoid over tightening to prevent stripping
the screw head).
4. Once the bracket is mounted, replace the 2 plastic cover plates.

WARNING! - When mounting this product it is recommended to determine the location selected will support at least two times (2x)
the total weight of the speaker. When mounting this product to a electrical box location, inspect this location to determine if the box
is properly attached to a support stud (2x4’) with screw/nail & the drywall is in good condition.

Note: To prevent problems with this mount not holding
it’s angle (sagging) make sure part B is tightened first
before tightening part C. This diagram shows how the
parts fit each other, but it is not necessary to remove
part B to mount the speaker.

To mount a speaker, remove the single point
adapter tip(A) from the Mounting body(B) and
determine the correct speaker mounting point
your speaker has from the three (3) diagrams
shown in step 3.
-Some speakers may use more than one type
of mounting point, select the one best suited
for your application.
-The hardware kit supplied with this mount are
contains the most common size screws used
to mount speakers. Some speakers may
require longer or shorter screws not supplied
in this kit.

Once the speaker has been attached
to the adapter tip(A), replace the adapter
tip(A) to the mounting body(B) and then
attach the adapter body(B) to the speaker
mount assembly(C).

After the speaker has been attached
to the speaker mount assembly, you
should connect the speaker wires.
To aim the speaker, loosen the small
allen key bolts (C1) so that the adapter
body can be rotated & tilted to the
desired position. Tighten the allen key
bolts(C1) to lock the speaker into the
desired position.
