Before you start
Thank you for purchasing the CP-DV1000 Pioneer speaker
stand. This speaker stand should only be used with the S-
DV1000ST Pioneer speaker system.
• Read this setup guide carefully before setting up your
speaker system, and then save it for future reference.
• Before setting up your speaker system, we recommend
reading the operating instructions for your system
thoroughly.
• Use only the screws supplied when fixing the speaker to
the speaker stand.
• Do not place the stand on an unstable and/or sloping
surface. The stand and speaker may fall and cause injury.
• Do not mount any speaker on this stand other than the
Pioneer speaker specified above. The stand may collapse
and be damaged and/or the speaker may fall and cause
injury.
• When moving the speaker and stand, first remove the
speaker from the stand, and then move the stand, holding
it by the two stems.

Tout d’abord, nous vous remercions de l’achat d’un support de
haut-parleur Pioneer CP-DV1000. Ce support de haut-parleur
ne doit être utilisé qu’avec le système de haut-parleur Pioneer
S-DV1000ST.
• Veuiller lire attentivement ce Guide d’installation avant
d’installer votre système d’enceinte, puis conservez-le afin
de pouvoir vous y référer à l’avenir le cas échéant.
• Avant d’installer votre système d’enceinte, nous vous
recommandons vivement de lire soigneusement le Mode
d’emploi concernant l’utilisation de votre système.

Vérification du contenu de la boîte
Vérifiez que vous êtes bien en possession de tous les
accessoires.
• Utilisez uniquement les vis fournies lorsque vous montez
et fixez l’enceinte sur son pied.
• Ne placez pas le pied sur une surface instable et/ou en
pente. Le pied et l’enceinte risqueraient de se renverser et
d’être ainsi endommagés.
• Ne montez pas sur ce pied une enceinte une autre
enceinte que l’enceinte Pioneer spécifiée ci-dessus. Le
pied risquerait de s’effondrer et d’être endommagé et/ou
l’enceinte de se renverser et de provoquer des blessures.
• Lorsque l’on déplace l’enceinte et le pied, il faut d’abord
enlever l’enceinte fixée sur le pied, puis déplacer le pied
en tenant les deux montants du pied.

Assembling the speaker
stands
1 Fix the base to the stems using
the black screws provided.
Align the 4 screw holes on the stand
base with the screw holes in the two
stems, then insert the screws and
tighten.
2 Run the speaker cord down from
the stand base (1) through to the top
of the stem (2).
It doesn’t matter which stem you run it
through. Secure the cord by wedging it
into the groove on the underside of the
stand base.
3 Run the the speaker cord from
the top of the stem through the
bottom (3), along the side (4), then
out the back (5) of the speaker base.
4 Fix the speaker base to the top of
the stems using the black screws
provided.
Align the 4 screw holes on the speaker
base with the screw holes in the two
stems, then insert the screws and
tighten.

2 Faire passer le câble de l’enceinte
vers le bas àpartir de la base du pied
(1) àtravers la partie supérieure du
montant (2).
Peu importe le montant que vous
utilisez pour faire passer le câble. Fixer
le câble en le faisant rentrer dans la
fente qui se trouve sous la base du pied.
3 Faire passer le câble de l’enceinte
de la partie supérieure du montant
jusqu’à la base du pied (3), le long du
côté(4), puis le faire sortie par
l’orifice de la partie arrière (5) du
support d’appui de l’enceinte.
4 Fixer le support de l’enceinte sur
la partie supérieure des montants au
moyen des vis noires fournies avec le
pied.

sur le support d’appui de l’enceinte avec
les trous des vis qui se trouvent sur les
deux montants. Puis, introduire les vis
dans les trous respectifs et les serrer.

5 Fix the satellite speaker in place
using one of the silver screws
provided.
Depending on which way up you
place the speaker, you will either have
a gray- or wood-colored top side.
Make sure the speaker cord (from the
stem) is long enough to reach the
speaker terminals before fixing.
6 Connect the speaker cord to
the terminals on the back of the
speaker.
7 Attach the back cover as shown
at right.
If you need to remove the back cover,
release it by pulling from the under-
side.

Installation
Place the stand on a stable, level surface; placing the stand on
an unstable surface can be dangerous. If there are any gaps
under the stand, stabilize the stand by packing them with
cardboard or similar material.
Tone is affected by the position of the speaker.
If the bass is insufficient, move the speaker closer to the wall.
The richest bass sound is obtained when the speaker is right
against the wall. If the bass is too powerful, producing muffled
tone, move the speaker away from the wall. Placing the
speaker against a thick curtain may also be effective.
Adjust the position as needed to obtain the desired sound.
Cabinet Maintenance
• Use a polishing cloth or dry cloth to wipe off dust and dirt.
• If the cabinet is very dirty, use a soft cloth dipped in some
neutral cleanser diluted 5 or 6 times with water. Finally,
wipe again using a dry cloth. Do not use furniture wax or
cleaners.
• Never use thinners, benzine, insecticide sprays and other
chemicals on or near the cabinets, since these will
corrode the surfaces.

Installation
Placer le pied sur une surface stable et plane (bien à niveau).
Si vous placez le pied sur une surface instable, ceci peut être
dangereux si la surface sous le pied n’est pas parfaitement
place. S’il existe des vides sous le pied, stabilisez le pied en
remplissant les vides avec du carton ou un autre matériau
similaire.
La tonalité est affectée par la position où se trouve le pied.
Si les basses sont insuffisantes, déplacez l’enceinte pour la
placer plus près du mur. Le son des basses le plus riche est
obtenu lorsque l’enceinte est placée contre le mur. Si le son
des basses est trop fort, produisant un son sourd ou amorti,
éloignez l’enceinte du mur. Le fait de placer l’enceinte contre
un rideau épais peut être également efficace.
Réglez la position de l’enceinte afin d’obtenir le son désiré.
Entretien du dispositif
• Utilisez un chiffon doux ou un chiffon sec paur éliminer la
poussière et les saletés.
• Si le dispositif est très sale, utilisez un chiffon doux
imprégné pas un produyit de nettoyage neutre dilué cinq
ou six fois avec de l’eau. Finalement, essuyer avec un
chiffon sec. N’utilisez pas de cire pour les meubles ou des
produits détergents ou de nettoyage.
• N’utilisez jamais de diluants, de benzène, de produits
insecticides vaporisés ou d’autres produits chimiques sur
le dispositif ou à proximité, ceux-ci risquant de corroder la
surface.
