It is our policy to build equipment which is design certified by companies that have been
accredited at the Federal Level by the Occupational Safety and Health Agency (OSHA) and
ANSI as a National Recognized Testing Laboratory. These companies include CSA International,
Underwriters Laboratories, and the National Sanitation Foundation. However, a continuing
program of product improvement makes it necessary to submit new models to the agencies as
they are developed. Consequently, all models may not bear the appropriate labels at all times.
We reserve the right to change specifications and product design without notice. Such revisions
do not entitle buyer to corresponding changes, improvements, additions or replacements for
previously purchased equipment. Information is not for design purposes.

Built-In Milk -Ice Cream Dispenser

Models R10-Bl thru RF21-BI refrigerated, built-in type dispensers for
cartoned milk, packaged ice cream, or both.
FRAME AND BODY
The frame is constructed of all welded heavy gauge stainless steel.
The exterior of the body is 18 ga. galvanized steel. The interior liner is
all welded 22 ga. stainless steel, watertight and fitted with a 1/2" I.P.S.
chrome plated bronze drain trap at the bottom. The liner is separated
from the top by full perimeter breaker strips. The entire cabinet is
insulated with 2-1/2" thick poured-inplace polyurethane.
REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
The cabinet is fitted with four-wall copper refrigerant coils to hold
temperatures of 38°F for milk or 0° to -10°F for ice cream. The system
includes an accessible thermostatic expansion valve. The liquid line
connection has a 1/4" flare fitting and the suction line connection has
a 3/8" flare fitting. Two independent systems are included with dual
temperature units (note that two condensing units will be required).
DISPENSING MECHANISM
The cabinet is fitted with one or more removable self-leveling dispensers,
each consisting of an all welded 16 ga. stainless steel frame and a 14 ga.
stainless steel pan-type carrier for the product. The frame and carrier are
connected by a suspension system consisting of a series of stainless steel
coil springs and ball bearing guides designed to keep the carrier level
at all times. Adjustment of the dispensing height for varying weights is
accomplished by engaging or disengaging individual springs. All models
include aluminum trays which function as separators for layers of product.
SELF-CONTAINED MODELS
Self-contained models include an air cooled, hermetically sealed
condensing unit (two with dual temperature units) mounted on an integral
steel frame. The system operates on 120 volts single phase. It includes
a pressure control and is charged with refrigerant ready for use. Final
electrical connections are made by others to a junction box mounted on
the protectivehousing which covers the condensing unit.
OPTIONAL ITEMS
Removable stainless steel plug-type insulated cover(s)
with vinyl perimeter gasket and lift handles.
Additional aluminum trays, 10" x 20" or 20" x 20".
Removable stainless steel adapter collar(s) to fit between
the top opening of the cabinet and the counter top.
Tubular locking device for the cover(s).

The Silver and Tray Cart manufactured by Piper can stand
up to the many demands of every day use. This unit is
constructed of heavy-duty stainless steel and is available
in two different heights with cylinder or pan style
silverware holders.

Piper’s Self-leveling Mobile Tray and Silver Dispensers
are offered in two styles; single or double stack. Each
stack holds 150 trays. These Self-leveling Tray and Silver
Dispensers can be found in tray lines, front- or back-of-

stainless steel "Z" section base. The body is 20 ga. stainless
steel on all sides and top. The front panel is removable for
adjustment access. The top is fitted with a stainless steel
sloped overhead-type silverware dispenser, enclosed on all
four sides and provided with eight openings for insertion of
round silverware cylinders.
DISPENSING MECHANISM:The tray carrier, constructed of all
welded 16 ga. stainless steel, is raised by a series of coil
springs attached to the frame. Ball bearing guides and a single
stainless steel aircraft type cable keep the carrier level in all
directions, even with an unbalanced load. The cable runs over
pre-lubricated plated steel pulleys.
ADJUSTMENT: Adjustment for various tray weights is easily
accomplished by removing the front panel, then engaging or
disengaging individual springs as required.
CASTERS: The unit is mounted on four 4" diameter, heavy
duty, double ball bearing casters with non-marking rubber

SPECIFICATIONS
Model ATCA-ST-OSW8 cantilever style, mobile tray and silverware
dispenser.
FRAME AND BODY:
The unit is constructed of all heavy gauge stainless steel and mounted
on a 12 ga. stainless steel. The body is 20 ga. stainless steel on all
sides and top. The front panel is removable for adjustment access.
The top is fitted with a stainless steel sloped overhead-type silverware
dispenser, enclosed on all four sides and provided with eight openings
for insertion of round silverware cylinders.
DISPENSING MECHANISM
The tray carrier, constructed of all welded 16 ga. stainless steel, is raised
by a series of coil springs attached to the frame. Ball bearing guides
and a single stainless steel aircraft type cable keep the carrier level in
all directions, even with an unbalanced load. The cable runs over pre-
lubricated plated steel pulleys.
ADJUSTMENT
Adjustment for various tray weights is easily accomplished by removing the
front panel, then engaging or disengaging individual springs as required.
CASTERS
The unit is mounted on four 4" diameter, heavy duty, double ball bearing
casters with non-marking rubber tires.

Models 717 and 718 tray and silverware carts for silverware in pans.
FRAME: The frame is constructed of all welded 1" O.D. 16 ga. stainless
steel tubing, with integrally welded 3/4" O.D. cross rails for rigidity. The
frame is formed to serve as push handles at both ends.
SHELVES: The shelves are formed of 14 ga. stainless steel with the
sides turned down 1-1/2" and flanged in 1/2" for rigidity. The corners are
notched to the contour of, and welded to the tubular frame to form a
unitized assembly. The shelves are cut out to accommodate four 6-3/8"
x 10-3/8" x 6" deep silverware containers per shelf. Pans are furnished as
part of this unit.
The bottom shelf is set 14" above the floor, with 12" between shelves.
CASTERS: The unit is mounted on four 4" diameter heavy duty, double
ball bearing swivel casters with non-marking rubber tires.
MODEL 717: The shelves are cut out for and supplied with a total of

accredited at the Federal Level by the Occupational Safety and Health Agency (OSHA) and
ANSI as a National Recognized Testing Laboratory. These companies include CSA International,
Underwriters Laboratories, and the National Sanitation Foundation. However, a continuing
program of product improvement makes it necessary to submit new models to the agencies as

Model ATCA-ST, 2ATCA-ST or ASCA-ST cantilever style
mobile tray and silverware dispensers.
FRAME AND BODY
The frame is constructed of all welded heavy gauge
stainless steel. The body is 20 ga. stainless steel on all
sides and top, and is fitted with a stainless steel tubular
push handle. Model 2ATCA-ST is constructed similarly to
Model ATCA-ST except that it consists of a double size
frame and body and has two independent tray carriers
and dispensing mechanisms to accommodate two stacks
of trays. The front panel is removable for adjustment
access.
DISPENSING MECHANISM
The tray and pan carriers (two on Model 2ATCA-ST),
constructed of all welded 16 ga. stainless steel, are each
raised by a series of coil springs attached to the frame.
Ball bearing guides and a single stainless steel aircraft
type cable keep each carrier level in all directions, even
with an unbalanced load. The cable runs over pre-
lubricated plated steel pulleys.
ADJUSTMENT
Adjustment for various tray or pan weights is easily
accomplished by removing the front panel, then engaging or
disengaging individual springs as required.
CASTERS
Each unit is mounted on four 4" diameter, heavy duty, double
ball bearing casters.

Mobile Dish Dispensers
SPECIFICATIONS
Models ATG unheated and ATGH heated tubular frame, mobile dish dispensers.
FRAME AND SHELVES: The frame is constructed of all welded 1" O.D. 16 ga. stainless steel tubing, and is welded to the 16
ga. stainless steel shelves - turned down, hemmed and notched to mate with the uprights.
DISPENSERS: ATG models are fitted with model AT adjustable, drop-in dish dispensers. ATGH models are fitted with model
ATH heated, adjustable, drop-in dish dispensers (See page D-9 for specifications of these dispensers). On heated units, the
dispensers plug into a central junction box which is fitted with a 4' long, 3 wire cord set with NEMA 5-15P plug for 120 volt
or NEMA 6-15P for 220 volt.* These units are also available for oval platters, Model ATDO.
CASTERS: Units are mounted on four, 4'' diameter heavy duty, double ball bearing swivel casters with non-marking
rubber tires.
