1To extend a leg, grasp the rubber foot and turn it counter-clockwise to release the lock. Pull the
leg to the length you want, then turn the rubber foot clockwise to lock the leg in place.
Cautions:
• Incorrectly securing a leg can cause the tripod leg to retract unexpectedly and could result in damage to
the polepod or to the attached camera or camcorder.
• Never leave the polepod set up and unattended. Polepods are less stable than full length tripods and
can easily tip over.
2To adjust the height of the center column, ip open the center column locks on the center column.
Extend the column to the height you want, then ip the locks to lock the column in place.
Caution: Incorrectly securing a lock could cause the center column to retract unexpectedly and could result
in damage to the polepod or attached camera or camcorder.
3To set the angle position of the legs, slide the leg angle tab, lift the leg all the way up, then
lower the leg until the leg angle tab locks at the angle you want (low, semi-low, or normal).

Before using your new product,
please read these instructions to prevent any damage.
DESCRIPTION
Locks the quick-release plate to the mounting base plate.
Slide to select the leg angle: low, semi-low, or normal.
Provides quick leg adjustment.
Secure your camera or camcorder to the quick-release
mounting place with this screw.
Mount your camera to this removable plate.
Slide the quick-release mounting plate into this base plate.
Locks the horizontal and vertical movement of the head.
Locks the center column in place.
Center column converts to a 4-section monopod.
Attach the hand strap to the ring on the center column for
easy carrying.
Locks the center column height for the mini tripod.

4Lift the quick-release plate locking lever, then remove the quick-release mounting plate.
5Align the bottom of your camera or camcorder with the 1/4" mounting screw, then secure
your camera or camcorder to the plate with the screw.The screw should be tight.
6Slide the mounting plate onto the base plate, then press the locking lever down to lock the
mounting plate in place.
CONVERTING TO A MONOPOD
1Remove the ball head from the center column by turning the ball head assembly counter-
clockwise.
2Remove the tripod legs from the center column by collapsing the legs, then turning the leg
assembly counter-clockwise. Turn the column upside down.
3Attach the ball head and rubber foot to the column.
Note: To use the monopod without the ball head, attach the spare mounting screw to the top of the
monopod using the included wrench.

4To adjust the monopod height, ip open the center column locks and extend the column to
the height you want. Close the locks to lock the column in place.
Caution: Incorrectly securing a lock can cause the center column to retract unexpectedly and could result
in damage to the monopod or attached camera or camcorder.
5Lift the quick-release plate locking lever, then remove the quick-release mounting plate.
6Align the bottom of your camera or camcorder with the 1/4" mounting screw, then secure
your camera or camcorder to the plate with the screw.The screw should be tight.
7Slide the mounting plate onto the base plate, then press the locking lever down to lock the
mounting plate in place.
CONVERTING TO A MINI TRIPOD
1Remove the ball head from the center column by turning the ball head assembly counter-clockwise.
2Remove the tripod legs from the center column by collapsing the legs, then turning the leg
assembly counter-clockwise.
3 Remove mounting screw from bottom of the ball head assembly, then attach the ball head to
the leg assembly.
4 To adjust the height of the center column, loosen the column lock knob, raise the center
column to the height you want, then tighten the lock.
Note: Extension is only 1".
5To extend a leg, grasp the rubber foot and turn it counter-clockwise to release the lock. Pull
the leg to the length you want, then turn the rubber foot clockwise to lock the leg in place.

6Lift the quick-release plate locking lever, then remove the quick-release mounting plate.
7Align the bottom of your camera or camcorder with the 1/4" mounting screw, then secure
your camera or camcorder to the plate with the screw.The screw should be tight.
8Slide the mounting plate onto the base plate, then press the locking lever down to lock the
mounting plate in place.
USING YOUR BALL HEAD
• To pan, release the head locking lever, pan the tripod head, then lock it in place.
Note: For maximum stability, always make sure that your camera lens is over a leg.
• To adjust the vertical tilt, release the head locking lever, adjust the vertical position, then lock
it in place.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Make sure that all leg locks are correctly tightened and that the legs are fully opened before
use.
• Do not carry or transport your tripod with camera equipment attached (for example, over your
shoulder or cradled in your arms).
• Do not expose your tripod to excessive heat or cold, or use near any ame or re.
• Do not oil or grease any part of the tripod.
• Do not use any solvents or thinners to clean your tripod. Use only a mild detergent and wipe
dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
• Do not exceed the load limit of this tripod.
