__Notes Before You Begin: Donotovertightenbolts during assembly, onlysnug
tightenthem until assembly iscomplete. Do not install bolt caps until the structure
is completely assembled and properly footed.
Carefully read and understand these installation instructions before you
begin.
__Step 1: Before attempting to assemble your equipment, please review all
installation information carefully. Should you experience any difficulty during the
installation process, please call us at the phone number shown on the last page
of these instructions.
__Step 2: Separate and identify all components and hardware.
__Step 3: Prepare footings as shown in the Footing Details on page 2 in the
beginning of this document.
Attach the spring to the coil spring anchor plate.
__Step 4: See Details A-1 & A-2. Select the anchor plate, the spring, the spring
wedge casting, and the appropriate hardware. There are (3) three connections.
Lower the spring onto the anchor plate. Insert the spring wedge into the end of
the spring coil and rotate around until it is secure. Do not over tighten. Insert the
U-bolts over the spring and attach as shown.
Note: The 2-3/4" U-bolt attaches through the spring wedge.
Attach the metal platform to the spring.
__Step 5: Attach the metal platform to the spring. See Details B-1, B-2, and B-
3. Select the metal platform and the appropriate hardware. There are (3) three
connections. Insert the spring wedge into the top end of the spring coil and rotate
around until it is secure. Do not over tighten. Lower the metal platform onto the
spring. Insert the U-bolts through the spring and metal platform and attach as
shown.
Note: The 2-3/4" U-bolt attaches through the spring wedge.
Attach the side panels to the metal platform.
__Step 6: Attach the side panels to the metal platform. See Detail C. Select
the side panels and the appropriate hardware. There are (4) four connections.
Align the panels with the metal platform and attach as shown.
Note: Do not install bolt caps until the structure is completely assembled and
properly footed.
Attach the seat to the metal platform.
__Step 7: Attach the seat to the metal platform. See Detail D. Select
the seat and the appropriate hardware. There are (4) four connections.
Lower the seat between the side panels and align the holes. Attach as shown.
Note: Skip Step 8 if installing model XX0549.
Attach the sound electronics to the seat bracket.
__Step 8: Attach the sound electronics to the seat bracket. See Detail E.
Select the sound electronics, the seat bracket, and the appropriate hardware.
There are (4) four connections. Align the holes sound electronic assembly with
the posts in the bracket. Attach as shown.
Important Note: Insert (4) four D-cell batteries into the sound electronics before
installation.Batteries aresold separately. Batterylife isapproximately one (1) year.
Maintenance should be scheduled to replace the batteries accordingly.
Note: Sound electronics are factory ready. No electrical connections will need
to be made.
Attach the seat bracket to the side panels.
__Step 9: Attach the seat bracket to the side panels. See Detail F. Select the
seat bracket and the appropriate hardware. There are (4) four connections.
Lower the seat backrest between the side panels and align the holes. Attach as
shown.
Note: Do not install bolt caps until the structure is completely assembled and
properly footed.
Attach the seat backrest to the seat bracket.
__Step 10: See Detail G. Select the appropriate hardware. There are (4) four
connections. Align the backrest with the seat bracket and attach as shown.
Attach the bumper panel to the side panels.
__Step 11: Attach the bumper panel to the seat backrest. See Detail H. Select
the bumper panels and the appropriate hardware. There are (2) two connections.
Align the bumper panel with the side panel in the appropriate position.Attach as
shown.
