1Introduction to the Plush Pure Gain Plus™
First of all, thank you for purchasing the Pure Gain Plus!
The Pure Gain plus was designed, based on some suggestions made by Dweezil
Zappa. The idea was for a multifunction unit, which can be used as both a passive
a/b box (with LED selection indicators) and a dual gain booster, which is based on
the Plush Pure Gain. The PGP can be used with two guitars, to both level match as
well as boost them. The unit can be run passive or active. When used with a single
guitar, the PGP acts as a two stage boost with bypass.
The Pure Gain Plus is built from the finest premium parts, and will give you years of
enjoyment and high performance with no maintenance required.
Please read this manual completely, to obtain the most from your unit.
All connectors are Neutrik quality, the casing is die cast aluminum with an industrial
powder coat and baked on silk screening for long life and durability during use.
The internal circuit boards are G-10 glass-epoxy and the circuit boards are double
sided.

2 How to connect and operate the Pure Gain Plus.

Using the PGP with a single guitar:
In this mode, the a/b switch is used to select the boost levels. Using the unit with a single
input allows you to have three separate levels in use: True bypass (unity gain passive),
Gain-A and Gain-B. This allows you to choose boost levels for solos, rhythm, or specific
addition effects for which you want to change you boost level.
Use the A-input jack, which connects the two inputs together and feeds both boosters.
The LED’s will indicate which gain boost is active. IN passive mode (LED’s blinking)
the unit is fully bypassed.
Using the PGP with dual guitars:

When the PGP is used with two inputs, it functions as an A/B box as well as a gain
booster. Each input has its own boost level, as well as the unit being functional as a
passive A/B box. When the gain is active the LED’s will be lit solid, and indicate the
input and the gain level in use. When bypassed, the unit acts as a passive direct box, but
with visual indication of the input in use, by the LED’s blinking.
POWER:
The Pure Gain Plus runs on 9VDC, supplied through the internal (supplied) battery, as
well as an external adaptor (standard Roland style tip negative 5-MM). This unit can be
operated on 18-volts as well, which increases headroom slightly, without damage.

4 Warranty Information
The PLUSH/Fuchs Audio Technology Warranty
In the United States, Fuchs Audio Technologyguarantees our products to be free from
defective workmanship or material failure for a period of FIVE years (tubes excluded)
from date of new purchase to the original purchaser. Outside of the United States, the
warranty is based on each country's local laws and distributor's policies. Contact your
local dealer or distributor for details. This does not apply to Fuchs amplifiers and Plush
Pedals that have been tampered with, damaged by shipping carriers, reverse
engineered, or modified. Your warranty form/information must be returned to Fuchs
Audio Technologywithin 30 days of purchase, or your warranty will not be in effect.
Fuchs Audio Technologyreserves the right to suspend or terminate the above
warranty at our sole discretion, should damage from any of the above limitations and or
exclusions be detected upon examination.
