broadband services)
• PPPoE (Used by DSL companies)

Provider (ISP), and then follow one of the three instruction sets below to
connect the R-Series Router to the Internet.
• DHCP
By default, the R-Series Router is set to connect to the Internet in

8) PLANNING YOUR NETWORK:
The PoEWit R-Series Routers are preconfigured to support an internal
network and a guest network. The guest network is configured on VLAN7
and only has access to the Internet. Because it is only on VLAN7, the guest
network CANNOT see any of the devices on the internal network.

INSTALLATION AND SETUP

In order to use the multiple network features over wireless, you need to connect
a VLAN-capable wireless access point to the network and configure it to
broadcast VLAN7. PoEWit has a full line of 802.1Q (VLAN-capable) wireless
access points. Please contact PoEWit for more information.
9) TROUBLESHOOTING & SUPPORT:
If you are unable to get the R-Series Router functional using these steps,
