Security instructions and precautions:
1. To safely operate this equipment, rst carefully read the safety and handling instructions.
2. The Hot Spot Plastic Stapler must never come into contact with water, and it should not be operated in a damp
environment or with wet hands.
3. Do not attempt to turn on faulty equipment. All electrical charges are potentially deadly. Never touch the low
tension parts. If you notice any electrical discharges, stop using the device immediately, and do not switch it on
until the problem can be identied and repaired. Frequently inspect the cable of charger (6) and, if you notice
any damage, immediately replace it. Perform maintenance of the electric parts. The maintenance must only be
carried out by experienced personnel, fully aware of the risks incolved in the process. Always replace damaged
parts with original parts. Make sure the unit’s power socket is properly grounded.
4. HIGH RISK: Never use near ammable or explosive materials (gasoline, solvent, gunpowder, etc.)
5. SAFETY EQUIPMENT: Always wear protective gloves and goggles when operating this equipment. A staple
can reach temperatures up to +500°C during the welding process. Improper handling can cause severe burns
or start a re.
6. Before inserting a staple into the electrode (1), make sure the electrodes are not hot! Do not touch the staple
during the welding process!

Before using the Hot Spot Plastic Stapler:
1. Connect the battery charger (6) to the power socket (5) and then to a power outlet with the appropriate
electrical current.
2. Charge the equipment until the charger indicator (4) turns green. The rst charging process takes about 12
hours and subsequent charges take about 7 hours. When the battery is fully depleted, the charge indicator (4)
may present a solid red color. It will begin to blink in a green color when the equipment reaches a minimum
charge. The light will continue to blink green until the battery is fully charged, at which point it will show a solid
green color.
3. Disconnect the battery charger (6) before using the equipment. The Hot Spot Plastic Stapler will not operate if
the charger is connected. This is a security measure against a possible overcharge of the equipment.
4. Firmly secure the plastic part to be repaired so that it does not move during the welding process. The part must
be clean and, especially, free of ammable products.
