This manual is for the setting and operation of PONI-S100-IVA
intelligent IP camera. PONICO Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA) is a
camera with built-in IVA algorism function. Alarming software, which
detect and send warning to control station if some unusual event or
incident occurs in the region of preset camera view. Therefore, it has
two ways to set up. It is expected of high performance by setting up this
high intelligent camera correctly for its purpose and its usage.
(A) Camera Setup Conditions
1.Camera Installation
This manual is subject to camera position being fixed.
a) Installation height: in between 2.5m and 10m
b) Distance between camera and object (sensing distance): In
between 5m and 30m
c) Size of objective in camera view: if vertical frame is presumed as
100%, user will set up height of objects in between 10% and 80%.
2 .Condition
Following case might be detected erroneously as moving object.
a) Reflective metallic background
b) Building with reflective glass wall in background
c) Reflective water surface in background
d) Conic moving light in darkness (Car light)
e) Instable image by heavy rain, snow and fog
f) Flickering of light and changing of shadow
g) Multi-folding of object at set boundary of LINE and FENCE

(A) IP Camera Set Up
1. Web Browser Connection
1-1. IP Connection:
By inputting IP address of a camera such as 192.168.1.100 in Web browser, above
screen will be displayed. Log-in by inputting of ID and Password.

2.VIEWER MODE
2-1.AUDIO/MIC/OSD: To decide AUDIO output, AUDIO input (MIC) or OSD by checking off.
2-2. FIT: Adjust Image Output to the Viewer size
2-3. Video 1, Video 2: Selection of video output.
By setting Video Stream, can be separate Video 1 for Viewing and Video2 for Recording.
2-4. Screen Capture is saved as JPEG File.
2-5. Full Screen: View in Full screen.

3. ADMIN mode
3-1. Video Set Up
3-1-1. Stream Set Up
Primary/Secondary: Primary for VIDEO1 setup. Secondary for VIDEO2 setup
Codec: H.264/MPEG4. Resolution: VGA/QVGA), Video Quality: Bit rate (bps)
FPS: Select Frame rate
3-2. Audio Set Up
Enable: Using AUDIO by ON/OFF
Mode: Full Duplex, both-directional use
Input Gain/Output Gain: Set up of input/output volume

3-3. Event Set Up
Notification: Decide way of informing in occurrence of Event (FTP or Mail)
Pre-alarm: To set number of frame to be recorded BEFORE occurrence of Event.
Post-alarm: To set number of frame to be recorded AFTER occurrence of Event
Notification. Intev : To set time interval of notification of Event

4. User Set Up
Admin: To set Password of administrator
ID: To set qualification of user by specifying Admin/Replay/Viewer
User: ID/PW will be assigned up to 5 people.
5. New Work Set Up
5-1. IP Address Filtering: To setup filtering of IP address for PC being accepted or denied for an authorized
connection.
5-2. Server Setting: To set up camera server name, Control port, Data port. For connection from outside,
Control port number is required.

6.SYSTEM Setting
6-1.DATE and TIME Setting
Current Server Time:Time of present camera
Manual Setting: To input time by manual
Sync. with PC: To set time with PC time by synchronizing
Sync. with NTP: To set time with NTP Server by synchronizing.
6-2. Maintenance: Firmware (F/W) upgrading

Restart: Reset
System Upgrade: IP camera F/W upgrading
VA Upgrade: Video Analytic F/W upgrading
6-3 System Log
System Log: Show status quo of camera
Access Log: Show status quo of connection of user
Event Log: Show status of Event occurring
IP camera setting except for Event setting under Web viewer of PONI-S100-IVA had been explained from
the above. The next VA (Video Analysis) setting, of IP camera Event setting of MOTION DETECTION
REGION SETTING will be detail explained hereunder.

(B) VA(Video Analytic)Set Up Manual
1. MAIN SETUP frame Setting "VA ENBALE "
=Start the VA (Video Analytic) sensing function.
< Main Menu>
1-1 Press button, open MAIN SETUP frame.
Select→"VASETUP” by triangular arrow ,press BUTTON.
1-2 Select "VA ENABLE," and activate to ON by triangular arrow
And set by button.
1-3 Press button. After the "MAIN SETUP" fame disappears, confirm
words of "VA starting ...." on upper right corner of frame (Sign of VA function
activating)

1-4 When activation of function is completed, "VA" will be indicated on upper right
corner. ("VA "shows functioning in service)When VA function stops, OFF is
indicated.
1-5 VA SETUP/ SENSITIVITY setting is to adjust sensitivity of a sensor, (Low,
Medium, High). Consider size and distance of objects to be taken by camera,
when setting the sensitivity.
1-6 VA SETUP/ OBJECT SIZE setting is to set the size of detecting object. (Small,
Middle, Large). Consider size and distance of objects to be taken by camera,
when setting the object size.
2. MAIN SETUP / FENCE SETUP / LINE FENCE Setting=
a)S100 = Invader Detection Function (LINE)
b)P100 = Counting Function (LINE)
2-1 Select "FENCE SETUP" by triangular arrow from MAIN SETUP
frame. And press button. Select "LINE FENCE" of FENCE
SETUP ( upper right corner) and press button.

2-2 LINE FENCE setting can set lines from 1 to 4 lines. Lines 1through 4 will be selected
sequentially to set. And press (Enter) button, then above right frame will appear.
Select LINE POSITION SETUP and press (Enter) button.
2-3 Setting aline position will be shifted right and left or up and down by triangular
arrow , and selected by pressing button. After Left point
setting, Right point will be set. Same after setting lower point, upper point will be set.
Points can be set individually.
2-4 Small square dot in the center of line will show direction of moving (forwarding) object.
2-5 Turn the "ACTIVATION" to "ON" and press button for set .Release of
set is "OFF".

2-6 Setting "DIRECTION"
"ALL" means senses both directions of object moving. FW means alarming
forward. BW means alarming backward. (S100 sends alarm, & P100 displays
number of objects counted)
2-7 Press button, then setting frame will disappear. As shown above,
Setting frame of LINE setting can be confirmed.
3. MAIN SETUP/FENCE SETUP/AREA FENCE Setting=
a) S100 = Invader Detection Function (Square AREA).
b) P100 = Counting Function(Square AREA)
3-1 FENCE SETUP/Select AREA FENCE Press button then right
above frame will appear. Set Area from 1 through 4by selecting sequentially
by and press button.

3-2 After selecting POIRION SETUP and press , above right frame will
appear. Position of ach square point will be selected by arrows and press
button to set.
3-3 Decide direction of sensing and alarming by "DIRECTION". IN –to be alarmed
when objects coming to inside from outside. OUT –to be alarmed when object
going outside from inside. (S100 sends alarm,& P100 displays number of
object counted.)
3-4 Turn “ACTIVATION” to ON and press button to set, Release is OFF.

3-5 Press button, then setting frame disappears. As shown above,
setting frame of AREA FENCE setting can be confirmed .
4.MAIN SETUP/FENCE SETUP/APPEAR/DISAPPEAR Setting
=Function of sensing new object and disappearing object
(This function is not on the P100)
4-1 FENCE SETUP/Select APPEAR/DISAPPEAR/ Press and above
right frame appears. From APPEAR FENCE 1 through 4, setting will be
decided by selecting sequentially and press .

4-2 Select POITION SETUP same as AREA FENCE and press , then
above right frame will appear. Each position of square point is selected by
arrow and press button to set.
4-3 Setting ALARM TIMING
ALARM TIMING is a time to alarming after occurrence of event (incident) such
as disappearance or appearance of object.
4-4 Turn “ACTIVATION” to ON and press button to set, Release is OFF.
5.MAIN SETUP/VA MASK SETUP/MASK Setting
=Function to delete sensing of redundant scenery and movement
5-1 Select VA MASK from MAIN SETUP and select MASK 1 through 4 sequentially
to set and press button.

5-2 Select POSITON SETUP same as AREA FENCE and press , then
above right frame will appear. Each position of square point will be selected by
arrow and press button to set.
5-3 Turn “ACTIVATION” to ON and press button and set, Release is OFF.
5-4 When do not want to indicate MASK SETTING AREA on frame, set DISP MODE
to be turned to OFF, When want to be indicated, set to ON.
6.MAIN SETUP/CAMERASETUP/CAM ID setting=Camera No. setting

6-1. From MAIN SETUP, select CAMERA SETUP and press . From
CAMERA SETUP, select CAM ID and can change CAM No.
7.MAIN SETUP/CAMERA SETUP/COLOR SETUP Setting=
Camera Color Setting
7-1. From MAIN SETUP, select CAMERA SETUP and press . From
CAMERA SETUP, select COLOR SETUP and press . Then following
settings can be done: Brightness, Contrast, and Saturation.

8.MAIN SETUP/CAMERA SETUP/SCREEN FILP Setting=
To adjust upper/ lower and right/ left of screen by flipping.
8-1. From MAIN SETUP, select CAMERA SETUP and press . From
CAMERA SETUP, select SCREEN FLIP.
FLIP : To flip upper/lower of screen
Mirror: To flip left/right of screen
MIR-FLI: To flip upper/lower/left/right
9.MAIN SETUP/CAMERA SETUP/SHUTTER SPEED Setting=
Select Shutter Speed of Camera Sensor
9-1. From MAIN SETUP, select CAMERA SETUP and press . From
CAMERA SETUP, select Shutter Speed, then select 50Hz or 60Hz.

10.MAIN SETUP/CAMERASETUP/OSD Color Setting=
Select OSD Color
10-1. From MAIN SETUP, select CAMERA SETUP and press . From
CAMERA SETUP, select OSD COLOR and decide color of VA character.
Color can be selected from WHITE, BLACK, RED, BLUE, and YELLOW.
11.MAIN SETUP/ SYSTEMSETUP/SYSTEM REST Seting=
REST VA Setting
11-1. From MAIN SETUP, select SYSTEM SETUP and press . From
SYSTEM SETUP, select SYSTEM REST, and Reset by YES, or NO
