1. Turn ignition key “ON”

3. Press “CD”button on radio to enter Bluetooth mode
Radio display switches to CD mode as seen below.
4. Launch audio device streaming application (GPS, audio book, XM radio
etc.)
5. Set audio device volume to 85% and radio volume to desired playback
level. If sound is distorted, lower volume on audio device.
1. Does the BLU-CR12 work on all Porsche radios?
NO; The BLU-CR12 works only on Porsche CR-1 and CR-2 radios.
2. Does the BLU-CR12 work on Porsche CD-1 and CD-2 radios?
NO; The BLU-CR12 works only on Porsche CR-1 and CR-2 radios.
3. My Porsche has optional CD changer, will the BLU-CR12 work?
The CD changer must be disconnected for the BLU-CR12 to work. Purchase
our A2D-CR12 to retain CD changer functionality.
4. My radio is not switching to CD mode. What can I do?
If radio does not switch to CD mode, try resetting module by cycling ignition
key ON/OFF a couple times. In extreme cases you may need to disconnect
negative battery terminal for a minute or two. Also, if battery was
disconnected (while servicing vehicle or during storage); the module may
require resetting before it can be recognized by radio.
5. Can I use the radio buttons to control music streaming device?
NO; Use device built-in controls or optional “smart remote”.
6. Will I be able to make phone calls?
NO; For hands-free calling, purchase our A2DIY-CR12
7. What happens when I receive a call while streaming?
Music will mute and call number is announced. You must answer the call
using handset. Music streaming resumes as soon as call ends.
8. Do I need optional remote control?
Optional remote control will increase safety while driving allowing users to
change tracks etc. with minimum distraction. Because it pairs up to smart
device; it can be used at home, at the beach, park etc. to control smart
device connected to a Bluetooth speaker etc. We highly recommend it.
9. Nothing happens when I press the “CD” button. How do I remedy this?
If for any reason the “CD” button does not switch radio into CD mode; try
resetting module by cycling ignition key ON/OFF a few times. Also, if battery
is disconnected (while servicing vehicle or storage); the module may
require resetting before it is recognized by radio.
