PowerBear iPhone 6+ Replacement Battery Kit Operating and safety instructions

Place your new PowerBear
iPhone 6+ battery and
follow the steps in reverse
to complete the installation.
You now have a new high
quality battery!
Apply the adhesive on the
new battery.
Remove the iPhone battery
(DO NOT BEND OR
PUNCTURE THE BATTERY).
Do this for both sides of the
battery adhesive strips.
Start to slowly peel the
adhesive away from the
battery making sure to
continue around the sides
as well.
Peel o the adhesive tab
located on the bottom of
the battery.
Disconnect the digitizer
cable located underneath
the display data cable and
you can now take the screen
o to have an easier work
space.
Disconnect the display data
cable located underneath
the front facing camera/
sensor cable.
Disconnect the home button
cable.

Disconnect the front facing
camera/sensor cable.
Unscrew and remove the
panel containing the display
connectors.
Unplug the battery connector.Unscrew and remove the
battery connector panel.
Open up the screen to a 90
degree angle and prop it up
against a sturdy object with
a rubber band or tape.
Remove the suction cup
from the screen.
Slowly pull back on the
screen until you create a
small gap between the
screen and the phone and
begin using the prying tool
to separate.
Unscrew the two pentalobe
screws located on the bottom
of the phone next to both
sides of the lighting port.
Take all the tools out of the
box and check to see that
you are not missing any.
Make sure your phone is
turned o.
Firmly apply the suction cup
on the lower portion of the
phone to create a strong
airtight seal.

Battery Usage/Calibrating
Instructions:
Do not allow the battery to drain
completely before charging. Over-
discharging the battery causes
damage to the negative electrode
before it is properly calibrated,
which in turn reduces the lifetime
of the battery.
1. Allow the battery to drain
completely.
2. Once the battery has died, let
it charge undisturbed until it
reaches 100%. DO NOT use
your device during this time.
3. Allow the battery to
completely drain again before
the next charge cycle.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 around 3
times. Your battery should now
be properly calibrated with
your phone.
