Front Tine Tiller
Operator’s Manual

operator’s manual before using your
new tiller. Take special care to heed
the cautions and warnings.
Engine is shipped from factory without
oil. You must add engine oil before
starting engine.
Do not adjust tilling depth unless tine
clutch control lever is released to the
neutral position.
Fill tank to no more than 12.5mm (1/ 2”)
below the bottom of the filler neck to
provide space for expansion.
Do not move choke control to CHOKE
to stop engine. Backfire or engine
damage may occur.
Never use a “pressure washer” to clean
your tiller. W ater can penetrate tight
areas of the tiller and its transmission
case and cause damage to spindles,
pulleys, bearings, or the engine. The
use of pressure washers will result in
shortened life and reduce serviceability.
Do not overfill. Too much grease can
create pressure which could damage
seals.
Remove the spark plug and drain all
of the oil from t he cylinder before
at t e mp t ing t o st art t he unit af t er
storage.
Do not use st ro ng d et e rg ent s or
p e t r o le um b a se d cle a ne r s w he n
cleaning plastic parts. Chemicals can
damage plastics.
Do not sore tiller with fuel in a non-
ventilated area where fuel fumes may
reach flame, sparks, or any ignition
sources.
Use only approved fuel containers.
